Absolutely love to see these old campers being renovated, I bought a 1981 Shasta about a year ago for $700 and have renovated it, it’s been frustrating and fun all at the same time!
Your "Honey BakeWell Travel Store" is absolutely adorable! You have such a clever imagination....it's like walking up to a vintage bakery in England or Paris!!! Well done, you!!!.....and your Family! 💕💕💕💕💕💕
I personally loved the 70's look honey originally had ,but I also really love it's new very sweet kinda almost 50's look it has. Your video has inspired me to someday redo the 80's camper I got from my parents. I will so be re watching these videos when I get around to that.
Your inventiveness and ingenuity makes me want to go out and buy an old camper to renovate. Well done. Even at $1000 (or $1200), I believe you got it at a good price.
Honey is great. I have been binge watching both channels. It is such a pleasure just to know of you. When you mentioned the haters it broke my heart. First I thought they probably care about you being true to who you are and they love your charm and sweetness. Then I thought hmmm that is so selfish ..it is Your life. I appreciate seeing a young Christian women get excited to go to church. You are so caring and your parents and grandparents in heaven must be so proud of you. I am a gal also that can have a tea party, clean up and go outside and work on my 1909 house and get muddy in the garden. We are women and are multidimensional. I’m impressed with your work on honey and your house. Have you ever thought about merging your channels. If that is possible. Ps I love Christmas movies and in my 20’s I watched Home Alone so many times, I loved that house. I will be watching your favs! Thank you for just being you.🐝 ps love the baking, cooking , decorating, remodeling and love your dog, so precious.
your dad and mom do wonderful work/no matter where you have ever lived/your condo was beautiful with all the work he did in there.your home now was all of you together working at it.thats where you got the nack from//you all have that great before and after in all your projects.god bless you with your new camper..
Definitely needs a hit of a dark color…the outside grate and the door the same color!! I have a camper and have been looking for the right outside paint and now bc of you I found thank you so much, Happy Camping what else is there!!
Honey is so cute. You were so right about that yellow. Its perfect. The awnings are adorable. Pictures with her are going to be great. Cant wait for the rest.
It's coming along nicely; great color updates. A contrasting awning and fender skirts will be the cherry on top! You got this nice old survivor for a song!
Both of you and anyone else involved in this incredible camper transformation should be super proud of yourselves, I think it looks wonderful; you have all put in so much hard work. Fell in love with the scalloped wood awnings, such an adorable touch 🥰 Amazing!!! P.s: you could make a fortune doing camper renovations (just saying 😉)
Your camper is cute!! I have to ask: did you replace the butyl tape? This needs to be replaced as a part of regular trailer maintenance every 7-10 years. I am asking because when you remove the windows, hatch covers, and j-rail to reinstall the butyl tape, you can bypass all of the detail masking. You also need butyl tape applied behind the awning brackets because the trailer skin has been pierced. After all that work you have done you don't want her leaking.
I like seeing old things made new again it's good I don't know if I would have gone with the light color around the bottom because of road dirt and dust will make it look dingy but it looks cheery btw they made stuff a lot better back in the olden days so that's why it's still around.
I live in a honey and I’m so excited to begin fixing her up! I had no idea what year it was and your video allowed me to discover its a 1979 what a great year!!
I was skeptical at first but that really turned out delightfully tasteful and nice. We are in the process of restoring a 1970 Aristocrat ourselves so we appreciate your videos on your own process.
Yours looks great!! I'm just in the midst of RenoVating (RV - see what I did there? hehe) my 1985 single axle 5th wheel. Gutting the inside, and outside, refinishing everything to look more like a modern unit. White/light grey exterior.
Your camper is adorable! You all did a great job on the paint, love the stripes and the awnings. Your dad did an amazing job on the awnings. I was wondering what paint you planned to use on the aluminum and now I know. I have a 27’ motorhome I would like to paint but have been very hesitant because I didn’t know the right paint to use. You have inspired me to get going on my RV again. Your trailer will be beautiful when finished. Great job!😁
I just moved in to a renovated camper similar to yours, so you’re vidéos have been a great inspiration to me when it comes to the design. I love how yours have turned out.
We are painting the exterior of our camper this spring/summer depending on the MN warmth factor! I never thought of a creamy yellow with the white-everyone does gray, aqua or red. The yellow is stunning! I saved this video for paint reference! Beautiful job!!!
I have read that putting metal wheel well trim over your tires is important because when tire blow-outs happen (and they will) they can rip and wreck the outside of your camper and sometimes wreck the inside of your camper too.
It's 2 years later and I've just found your video. I'd love to know how this brand of paint has held up. You did such a great job on this! I've just purchased my used, but "New-To-Me" R.V> and I was thinking about changing the colours of the decals. Then that lead to thinking about removing th decals and painting on my own and of course, we know what that had led me to . . . . . painting the entire R.V. now! Especially after seeing how beautiful yours has turned out!
Super cute love it. How about some stainglass in the large rear widow. You know they even have peel off stain glass for windows at Home Depot. Just an idea.
I’m considering refurbishing a Shasta Friendship 17 1/2. Seems similar but yours seems a bit bigger. Looking forward to watching more of your videos before I decide.
Very Nice ♡ You should consider painting your hub caps that really nice yellow.. You could even do a red in the center and it would give them a sunflower look.. Again nice job
The first point you made about the tape and how you gotta be super precise, or else the tape will peel your paint off is lack of quality tape and also either too many coats of paint applied.. or added coats too soon in between the drying stages.. be use both cause overspay/overcoated
I enjoyed your territorial. Thank you for posting it. Question: I need to know what you call the piece of trim that goes up over and around the edge of the entire camper left and right sides you showed that you were trying to do it but it was too cold out. Thank you for commenting with any info about that. Also the name of the trim that goes around the windows covering the screws would be helpful too. Thanks again
yawneys are beautiful wonderful cute job to your pop ) they are cute will look so nice 🌸🌸⚪️⚪️🌸🌸🌸🌸⚪️⚪️⚪️🌸🌸🌸⚪️⚪️⚪️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️🌸🌸⚪️⚪️🌸🌸🌸⚪️⚪️⚪️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️
I totally get the taping situation I’ve been doing it too & it takes longer then the painting! She’s definitely came together I still got quite a ways to go 🤦🏻♀️💛🐝
I looooved this soooo much! I’ve been trying to find a color combo for my camper & this is IT!!!! ❤ I’m so curious how long all this took? And your little awnings…..!!!!!! Omg!!! Perfect????💛🤍💛🤍💛
I preferred the colors it originally had, but I appreciate what you’ve done. Looks much cleaner
There is always that "one" in the comments. A compliment loaded with something negative and unnecessary. Kindness is free and easy to give. Try it.
Absolutely love to see these old campers being renovated, I bought a 1981 Shasta about a year ago for $700 and have renovated it, it’s been frustrating and fun all at the same time!
It turned out SO SO CUTE!! I LOVE the scalloped wood over the windows!!

Brushing a quality oil base point is actually just as good . The thicker sheen makes it look brand new. Keep the retro stripes also.
Oil paint isn't available in a lot of places - by law - anymore.
SO SATISFYING to watch the white paint cover up the old paint!
Up-cycling on another level...everything looks so good...Rustic Glam...
Paint goes a long way. Beautiful workmanship. Really liked this video. Thank You .
Definitely needs a hit of a dark color…the outside grate and the door the same color!! I have a camper and have been looking for the right outside paint and now bc of you I found thank you so much, Happy Camping what else is there!!
You did a lovely job. Thanks for the idea of the awning. I am building out my vintage Oasis to be a snack wagon and that is the perfect touch.
The awnings add so much character! Good job!
Awnings are super cute, I would have never thought of that
Honey is so cute. You were so right about that yellow. Its perfect. The awnings are adorable. Pictures with her are going to be great. Cant wait for the rest.

Absolutely adorable!! Great job! Love Ms Hunny💗💗
Freaking adorable! Some people use their back bumper as storage for their outdoor rug (roll the rug up and put inside the bumper).
That’s such a great hack!!
It looks fantastic. I commend you on sticking with a project like this and your attention to detail.
Thank you for noticing!!
Love the honey color....makes it look bigger and cleaner...

Great job on everything. Love your dad’s awnings.
I like the yellow color mix with white is very country cottage style!
These videos are such a joy to me right now ❤️
Also really enjoy the thoroughness of your prep work
Thank you so much for the encouragement!!

Love it, your Dads ideas to add the wooden canopies was a great idea. High Five Dad!
Looks so cute. You should build a deck on top. Utilize the extra space
It looks SOOO good! Way to go you all. Everything you did looks great, and I love the color.
I love Honey's transformation - well done
Super cute. Please elaborate on how you attached the awnings and greenery. Thank you

Love the colour choice and the window awnings. I think one on the front window and on the other side of camper would look nice.
Thank you!
What is the proper name for the trim you referenced and where did you get it from? Also, where did you find the fender covers?
I love the way you painted the camper!
Very Nice ♡
You should consider painting your hub caps that really nice yellow..
You could even do a red in the center and it would give them a sunflower look..
Again nice job
Honey looks sweet

The yellow looks gorgeous 💛
Thank you so much!💛💛
Wow absolutely gorgeous
Great color choices, so often I see colors that are tacky but yours look OEM if one didn’t know better..

YESS! Taping is the worst😩
It’s adorable! Great improvements 👍
Question how is it holding up? Also did you do any sanding because you said the paint is direct to metal but original pant was still on?
I looooved this soooo much! I’ve been trying to find a color combo for my camper & this is IT!!!! ❤
I’m so curious how long all this took?
And your little awnings…..!!!!!! Omg!!! Perfect????💛🤍💛🤍💛
