I love everything you make! And I love that you do combine from different manufacturers so we don’t feel compelled to own everything from one company. You can mix and match with stuff from your stash. I’m gonna need a full time job to afford my hobby if I keep shopping!
Thank you for easy to follow instructions! I cannot afford this die set but figured out how to to this with two circle dies and a ruler😉. Takes longer of course but I will make a template so it will be easier and quicker to do future projects.
great card and great lesson. thanks for all the details as it really helps us to understand why and how to do this. Your such a great teacher for visual learners.... At 91 it really helps me out. I really love your videos and lessons pat
Thank you for your wonderful projects with this new interactive die from Lawn Fawn. I always appreciate your ideas. This interactive die is very similar to Mama Elephant’s Turner Surprise - which I have already; I am on a limited budget and LF and ME are my two favourite companies but should I also get the new one from Lawn Fawn? It would be good to have a comparison… though I notice most designers shy away from doing this 🤔. I love both companies and their stamps and dies are fantastic but obviously don’t want to buy an expensive set of dies which is almost the same. Any advice much appreciated from a U.K. 🇬🇧 fan. Valérie xx
I cannot afford expensive die sets like this, but I figured out how to do it by using two circle dies and a ruler and a craft knife. I cut two smaller circles and marked the middle of the circles with an awl, then drew a straight line to the edge and cut a slit to the mark in the middle of the circle. Then I cut a small bridge piece, like in the diecut set, just an oval piece , folded it and glued it on the cirkles following Jennifers instructions. Then, on the larger circle, I marked the middle and then drew a straight line to the edge but only cut it from the middle point as long as the cut line is on the smaller circles, so not the whole way to the edge of the larger circle. A bit difficult to describe, think of it as a cut slit the same length as the whole slit on the small circle. I cut a tab freehand to glue onto the smaller circle and slit the smaller cirkle edge, just as Jennifer does, into the slit in the larger circle. I was so surprised as it worked really very well. It only took me about ten minutes to do. I did cut the slit opening on the larger circle a tiny bit larger than just a knife edge, that made it very easy for the smaller circle to move. I hope this was of some help, English is not my first language so my explanations on ” how to do” are perhaps a bit weird?!
Do you have tips for heat embossing with white embossing powder? Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Mine always comes out splotchy and only white. I’ve tried hero arts embossing powder and Gina k, but results are always similar. I’ve even tried stamping with white pigment ink first instead of versa mark. It always comes out splotchy, so I think it’s user error, but not sure what I need to tweak to get better results.
Hmmm? I'll try again on another computer...went to other videos...(Gina,etc)...all good....no worries....I'll find a a way.... !! Thanks for checking ~ :) @@jennifermcguireink

Beautiful cards, such a fun mechanism! And I think you could call that oval/square shape a “squoval” (that’s what my nail tech calls it 😂).

Bet this would be great using photos!
So cute❤
I love your Creativ ideas again❤.Unfortunately I don't have these cutting templates. I'll come up with something and then try to recreate it.

This is an old die set from Mama Elephant!
Can this be done without that die set. that's a lot for me to spend right now. But I love the idea.
Jennifer... What kind of pen did you use at spot 3:31 to fix the area after you die cut? Who makes it?
Is this the same technique you are doing for the concord summer camp?
How Cool ✅
Pac-Man 😂
What has happened with the volume? I couldn't stay...muffled. :( love you. !
weird... sounds ok to me?

Good directions from you. I would never figure it out on my own. Thanks!
