    Gonna be a tough one. But I do think the stifling defensive play they worked on through the Nashville series is going to be a benefit. Canucks have the better defensive group, lots of size and reach, and Quinn Hughes on the breakout and walking the blue line is an X factor.
    But McDavid is a bigger X factor, and he’s got a lot of help up front. And The power play could sink us if we give up as many opportunities as we gave Nashville.
    I’m counting on an exciting series. And Canucks in 6

    All the Vancouver fans I've encountered are pretty cocky considering they are going up against a team that has been through the playoff wars every year for years now, and has the two best hockey players in the world right now. Winnipeg had a great season too, and won their division too, and where are they?

    • @beartracks2273

      They were eliminated by the team that Edmonton should have played in the first round
      Winnipeg should have played LA
      Colorado should have played Edmonton
      Crazy how the 5th place team got home ice advantage against the 7th place team in the first round
      At least the Canucks got to play in a hard fought emotional first round and won
      Canucks in 4 just like the regular season

    Tough situation for Silovs likely coming.
    Tenders with that few GP sometimes string a couple great performances together, but history is almost 100% on this: inexperienced goalies don't string together 6-8 quality starts in a row.
    Oilers are just the better team top to bottom right now.
    As Linden says. "I don't see the Canucks winning without their best players being their best players". - the Canucks more impactful player is Demko.

    Goaltending will be the difference and specifically goaltending when the special teams are rolled out. Skinner cannot compete with any of the Canucks 3 tenders with elite scorers. Another possible factor is the personnel.... Oilers have alot of Canadians and we know Canadians thrive in the playoff grind.

    • @bonedaddy95
      @bonedaddy95 12 дней назад +3

      100% disagree about saying the all 3 tenders of the canucks are better then skinner, Demko and thats about it. Maybe how skinner started at the beginning of the season then that skinner there all better

    • @gerryyaum
      @gerryyaum 12 дней назад +2

      What a ridiculous thing to say. EVERY NHL STARTER is better than every NHL 2nd and 3rd stringer. With Demko Vancouver would have an advantage in goal, with their backups..NO WAY!
