Great discussion! CriminOlly is one of my favorite booktube channels. I've never seen Brian's channel before but I'll have to check it out now. Thanks for the discussion!
Johanna, if you're curious about reading more Irish authors can I recommend Roddy Doyle's The Snapper? It's about a working class Catholic family in Dublin when the eldest daughter becomes pregnant out of wedlock, and she's not revealing who the father is. Blend of comedy and drama, great character development, heartwarming and heartbreaking. I should say though, some of it is written in Dublin dialect which can be odd to read at times, even for me though I'm not from Dublin. I'm terribly underread in Irish literature, though i do love poets like Seamus Heaney and WB Yeats. Great stream btw, I'll be sure to check out Brian and Olly's channels.
Not seen your channel before Johanna but I'm a Brian and Olly fan, loved this, such a clever format and great presentation.
Thank you so much, Aaron!

Thank you for the Roddy Doyle recommendation! I’m so glad you liked the stream!
I have read The Snapper, The Van, and The Commitments and love all three. The Van is my favorite and the movie adaptation of The Commitments is great.
