Sometimes a bit laggy, time limit could be longer and there should be something like pokestops. Items are gone after you unlock rank 4 monster and higher
My biggest thing I want is a training area so you can practice weapons combos and don't need to test a new weapon against monsters and to see how much damage your build is doing
That would be fun! the smaller monsters kind of act a little like training, but to go all out and figure out the weapons before you go on hunts would be really nice!
i would like the timer to be bumped up to 90sec so the higher level monsters aren't a constant gear check, Oh you got hit once the recovery time will now prevent you from finishing before the timer.
I think the timer is perfectly fine because any more time it will just make it if you have enough potions you can kill things even if you lack the skill or the gear to fight monster that you would have to fight mosnter to get gear to prepare to fight the stronger monster because as you said if you get hit you don't have enough time the higher tier the monster the more true that statement will be so practice your dodges, counter and timing for attacks or grind any have enough gear were you don't need gear or Skill
@chaosgizmo4241 another alternative is to tie your reward quality to how quickly you defeat the monster. That would make it to where you can take as long as you like, but you will barely get any mats and they will be low quality. This would also fix the issue of not having a training room, you could then take an under powered weapon on a 5☆ and up fight in order to practice movesets without killing the monster too quickly.
I'm laughing to myself imagining how to translate insect glave or charge blade to this style of game. "Okay, tap to use sword mode, then charge phials with a double tap followed by a Long tap. Block with a hold tap. Transform to axe mode by doing two clockwise circles, then tap to attack normally or long tap to use Phial axe attacks. Make an & with your finger to charge your shield while in axe mode, and draw a pentagram while charged in axe mode for an SAED" lol
I never understand why people are trying to blast though the game as quick as possible it's not meant to be grinding hours on end. It's a pick it up when you're moving around. It's only 13 monsters and there won't be a update any time soon to increase that number
I'm actually quite happy with the amount of monsters with have now. If they quickly add more and more monsters then it will probably get harder to find the monster you want to hunt because instead of that monster spawning it will be competing with the other monsters that want to spawn there instead. Maybe they could add nesting grounds for certain monsters to appear or do what pokemon go does which is making certain monsters have a certain higher chance to spawn for the day
Niantic will turn this into a cash grab, why are we expected to pay for health potions? All boosters are bought (minus the teaser "first one is free gags") A great way to punish the less skilled players
Its up to player if they want to! you do get health back over time and you get 5 potions at the start of each day! so there are plenty of opportunities to get more health!
My only 2 complaints with the game is that tutorial phase is too long to get to all the weapons. I feel everything should be unlocked at HR6 and social features should be present right after the first mission. The other thing is the "Network Error 6-4" as it prevents you from hunting painted monsters or interacting with friends. Both do NOT ruin the experience but rather are just two smudges on what would a be a near perfect introduction for newbies to the series and a fun pass time for us vets.
I can understand where you are coming from! But for people getting into the game i felt they did a great job at introducing everything, HR16 to get all the weapons is a little high tho considering xD
@SkojSkull that's fair and perhaps this is more anecdotal but of the 3 other people I've gotten to try the game they've all complained about how long it takes to get to the other weapons with one outright quitting cuz it took too long. We all played GO and they had gotten used to a one mission tut so this one took them hours, or I'm that friends case, days to complete was a certainly noticeable experience. I mightve been impatient to get my beloved LS but they had no experience in MH before and they wanted to try the other weapons ASAP after I had mentioned that it was odd that every MH game(as far as I know) have supplied a basic version of each weapon from the start. In the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter, I just personally feel it'd be better if the tut was shorter.
I'm liking it so far, and I agree that the on-the-go style of gameplay is nice for a mobile game, though it's certainly not typical for a grind fest like Monster Hunter. However! That kind of works, since it forces the player to start enjoying the journey rather than the destination. Though, I wholeheartedly believe the "journey" would be much more enjoyable if there wasn't a QR code between me and my friends!
I love the game I just wish the big monsters respawn was quicker I got to go to like 3 areas to fight and sometimes they are not the monster I’m looking for so I go home wait 3 hours and try again it’s just along wait lol
You kinda have an automatic wishlist fewture already in. It tells you when you can upgrade one of your equipped weapons or armor. It can be improved tho. On the same note I wish we could wishlist monsters in the handbook for an example. Monster will then be highlighted with a little symbol (similiar to the red quest icon) on the map. This makes it way easier to plan a route for the monsters we need. Besides that, I have quite a few things on my wishlist: 1. Send presents to friends (this needs obviously to come quite a bit later as there isn't that much content already) 2. Reward us for walking (maybe we get the monsters as little chibi pets, so we have some MH Stories in this aswell) 3. Give us a way to find people im our vicinity (in Pokemon Go we can see in arenas who plays in our town, we need something similiar, a tavern maybe) 4. As the story progresses, hunting guilds also form in our world and we will be able to have a proper guild card 5. I would looove to see the insect glaive soon, tho I think the first new weapon will be Lance (as SnS is the only blocking weapon right now) or Dual Blades (as SnS is the only kinda fast weapon in this game and Dual Blades is one of the most popular one of the missing weapons) There are a bunch more but I feel like this should be enough for now 😂
Yeah! Its nice but i defnitely want it to be improved instead of being the armor I am already wearing! This list is great as well! i can definitely see some of these being implemented in the future! As for rewards we do have a trophy system for how long we walked for and so on! I cant wait to see where this game goes
I actually didn't quite enjoy the gameplay of MHnow that I need to use mobile data to go about since it's quite hard to get a stable signal plus my hunt kept restarting due to connection lost.. it's hard to grind since I don't have time to actually roam around the streets and I just want to play MH while on the public transport with is impossible to do... only time I can actually play it is lunch break, when I got home and while waiting in line for the public transport.. which is boring since I can't squeeze materials and large monster enough

Value you Rarity 2 items...... In late game rarity 2 items will be used in abundance in making your gear but for some reason they'll be super difficult to come by. Finally don't be afraid to throw out items to make space. Best to throw out iron ore and small bones you'll have a ton of them. Just tap on the number 0 instead of pressing the plus and minus button and enter the amount you want to throw out it'll save you some mental frustration.
The game is very fun but the main problem are these 1 - Limited Spawns as your higher ranks. When you want to hunt a specific monster the area changes and also more monsters = more different spawns so it will be difficult trying to find one specific monster as there are just other things replacing them. 2 - Drop are very RnG. When you go and hunt and slay 20 Jagras 4 Star or higher and they refuse to drop that one Grade 3 or 4 Drop it just becomes so sad because you cannot upgrade your gear so you have to suck up to using your lower grade equips or forced to grind easier monsters until you can upgrade some to hunt other monsters at a comfortable pace easier. 3 - Lack of players in areas. There are almost little to no players around when playing so most of the times you have to hunt solo on everything unless you play or live in an area with many people who play the game but otherwise most of the time you are going solo. Overall I do enjoy the game but honestly its just the lack of drops that is kind of holding me back as I am not able to get specific drops to upgrade my gear despite hunting the same monster and also there really is nobody to play with around so it does tend to get a little difficult hunting some monsters as well. The game is quite skill based as well for timing dodges and if you can play well you don't have to spend a thing on potions as well.
yeah the spawn rates can be hard especially when there comes more and more monsters D: as for gear upgrading it does take a while to get materials but for a mobile game the goal is to keep you playing and i feel like its been fine so far! because once you have upgraded everything thats it! you are pretty much set! As for the multiplayer part of the game i really do agree i really hope they incorporate a more online approach and be able to hunt with your friends all over the world

I didn't able to play the MHWorld due to "don't have enough console/pc specs" to play on. So playing the MHNow on Mobile gives me opportunity to play with MH World Monsters which is Quiet nice. Also, as a Pokemon Go Player, The games feels like more wider and bigger than Pokemon Go. As Pokemon Go requires to you to move a lot to specific location due to shorter range, MHNow is just different as of the moment. There's a lot happening on the UI Map, and Mechanics is does feels like MH somehow. afterall, this is the First Release, can't wait for the updates!

The pain of Hunting for Prime Scale. Would be nice if we can have a similar function to Pokemon GO where you can track a specific Pokemon cause I'm stuck at a Gear 3 Sword and Shield while all my Armor is Gear 4 and I'm stuck at a Urgent Quest cause I can't deal enough damage cause Grade 3 Weapon.
it is definitely a crazy grind in later game to get the items you need to upgrade your gear but i found myself having to use other weapons to get through certain monsters! Hope this helps!
What worries me now is I don't purchase any of the game Micro Transactions I mostly buy a ride home cause I will do like 1-2 walks every day looking for a Great Giros that is at least 4-5 Star just to get my Sword and Shield to Grade 4 it's been 2 days straight already there is 0 Prime Scale. The number of Great Giros I kill for a day is around 8-11 that's a 4-5 star one which is a bit rare to find in my Area cause it's Mostly dessert for the last 2 days.
If we only have one life then why is the skill fortify in the game? or do you have more than one life when you do multiplayer hunts? don't have friends to play with so idk. That kinda sucks if there are some skills that only activate in multiplayer scenarios
The hunting from your friendlist would be great since I work nightshift when I'm off. I would go out for some hunts, but I would be the only one out and about, especially if I save the hunts for later.
Thanks for this amazing video. I'm having a blast so far with the game. However (and maybe someone will be able to help me), I live in an area where there are no point of interest at ALL. Some weapons upgrade requires you to get materials that can only be obtained by those nodes (Earth Crystal). I've reached a point in progression where killing monster is getting quite tough in term of DPS / fight length. Hope they fix it.

The micro trans actions are what makes me thing this game isnt going to last. There not making any money. like double part should cost way less or atleast have a 3-7-14 day passes for double part or something. thats the best i can think about.
I feel like "something" is missing from the game. Its hard to put my finger on it. Maybe its because i'm only level 25, but the game seems kinda repetitive as it slowly introduces you to new monsters. Its literally a repeat of the same objectives over and over and over again. Also, there needs to be some sort of perk for walking. At least with Pokemon Go you can walk to make a pokemon happy (to ultimately evolve them) or to hatch eggs. The fact that walking does absolutely nothing de-incentivizes the need to play the game properly. I get an equal amount of enjoyment from the game just driving to the local university, grocery store parking lot and park instead of walking to those locations.
I might be the only one who asks for this but I would like to feel like I’m actually tracking down and actually hunting a monster rather than just see the monsters icon and know it’s in that area. At this point, it’s just a little too easy to go for specific monsters. It would be interesting if the monsters were to follow a path(like sidewalks and trails) rather than just stay in a singular place. I know this adds a certain level of difficulty in grinding for upgrades and gear-sets, but for me, I want the feel of a hunt. Also, they can use this as a prime opportunity to introduce and test unique weapons not yet introduced to the MH series. Maybe something like a great shield that pulls agro that keeps a monster on you.
I remember there was a new info in the weapon smithy after completing HR10 to HR11 but I accidentally😢 pressed it when trying to press the weapon and I never get to know what it was trying to tell me, if any of you knows, please tell me.🙏
my gyro doesn't work on bow or lbg, or on any weapon for that matter! It just seems to zoom in a bit on semi or full. I didn't know that there was even an auto track on bow! Any of you guys had this problem?
It needs something like pokestops. After you unlock rank 4 and 5* monsters your items are gone. And only 5 heal a day is not much. And time limit is way too short.
I have been playing since it soft launched in Canada. personally as someone who played a ton of MHW and MHR as well as someone who plays pokemon go regularly I think that monster hunter now has some good stuff in it. THAT SAID it has a long way to go. I really do hope that interest in the game is big enough to keep the devs interested in supporting it. its not fair to compare BUUUUT pokemon go has a ton of content to do, catching, raiding, gym fights, pvp fights, pve fights with team rocket, evolving and leveling up your pokemon, and so on. Currently in MHN the combat is REALLY good, better then I was expecting to be honest. but I wish there were special things to go to in the world. the monster spawns are largely random so I find the interest in going to a specific place is low for me. in fact its funny my interest in going to parks is largely for mining outcrops as these are the bottle necks for me in later gear. pokemon go was not perfect when it launched it has its own road blocks it had to overcome so the hope is that MHN is popular enough that it gets that care and attention and it will be great.
I'm pretty sure I saw load outs on the game... you just swipe to the right from your current equipped gear. On the page where you equip or forge your gear. That little rectangle where it shows your 6 slotted pieces of gear just swipe it to the left.
The qr code is actually alright, if this game blows up and alot of newcomers come and play, you wont necessarily be as cooperative and dynamic as actual friends who you know, and might have some knowledge on monster hunter.
If they do delete my original comment. It says to unlock some armor you need to craft armor pieces to unlock them. aim to unlock 30 armor pieces to unlock them all. some need 10 or 15 etc to be unlocked
Same here! I've been having a blast! Yeah it's nice to see although the being able to use microtransactions to get double the rewards has a play in that But I wouldnt say it's game changing

This is the perfect opportunity to eventually include every monster made in monster hunter. I'd hope this is the intention because if so we would finally have a game with every monster in it.

The pain of Hunting for Prime Scale. Would be nice if we can have a similar function to Pokemon GO where you can track a specific Pokemon cause I'm stuck at a Gear 3 Sword and Shield while all my Armor is Gear 4 and I'm stuck at a Urgent Quest cause I can't deal enough damage cause Grade 3 Weapon.

it is definitely a crazy grind in later game to get the items you need to upgrade your gear but i found myself having to use other weapons to get through certain monsters! Hope this helps!

What worries me now is I don't purchase any of the game Micro Transactions I mostly buy a ride home cause I will do like 1-2 walks every day looking for a Great Giros that is at least 4-5 Star just to get my Sword and Shield to Grade 4 it's been 2 days straight already there is 0 Prime Scale. The number of Great Giros I kill for a day is around 8-11 that's a 4-5 star one which is a bit rare to find in my Area cause it's Mostly dessert for the last 2 days.
Really enjoying the game but the framerate is so bad on my phone like 15fps tops. And playing with others half's that which makes it unplayable.

If we only have one life then why is the skill fortify in the game? or do you have more than one life when you do multiplayer hunts? don't have friends to play with so idk. That kinda sucks if there are some skills that only activate in multiplayer scenarios

The hunting from your friendlist would be great since I work nightshift when I'm off. I would go out for some hunts, but I would be the only one out and about, especially if I save the hunts for later.

I'm having a blast so far with the game.
However (and maybe someone will be able to help me), I live in an area where there are no point of interest at ALL. Some weapons upgrade requires you to get materials that can only be obtained by those nodes (Earth Crystal). I've reached a point in progression where killing monster is getting quite tough in term of DPS / fight length.
Hope they fix it.

The micro trans actions are what makes me thing this game isnt going to last. There not making any money. like double part should cost way less or atleast have a 3-7-14 day passes for double part or something. thats the best i can think about.
I feel like "something" is missing from the game. Its hard to put my finger on it. Maybe its because i'm only level 25, but the game seems kinda repetitive as it slowly introduces you to new monsters. Its literally a repeat of the same objectives over and over and over again. Also, there needs to be some sort of perk for walking. At least with Pokemon Go you can walk to make a pokemon happy (to ultimately evolve them) or to hatch eggs. The fact that walking does absolutely nothing de-incentivizes the need to play the game properly. I get an equal amount of enjoyment from the game just driving to the local university, grocery store parking lot and park instead of walking to those locations.
I might be the only one who asks for this but I would like to feel like I’m actually tracking down and actually hunting a monster rather than just see the monsters icon and know it’s in that area. At this point, it’s just a little too easy to go for specific monsters. It would be interesting if the monsters were to follow a path(like sidewalks and trails) rather than just stay in a singular place. I know this adds a certain level of difficulty in grinding for upgrades and gear-sets, but for me, I want the feel of a hunt. Also, they can use this as a prime opportunity to introduce and test unique weapons not yet introduced to the MH series. Maybe something like a great shield that pulls agro that keeps a monster on you.
I remember there was a new info in the weapon smithy after completing HR10 to HR11 but I accidentally😢 pressed it when trying to press the weapon and I never get to know what it was trying to tell me, if any of you knows, please tell me.🙏

my gyro doesn't work on bow or lbg, or on any weapon for that matter! It just seems to zoom in a bit on semi or full. I didn't know that there was even an auto track on bow! Any of you guys had this problem?

It needs something like pokestops. After you unlock rank 4 and 5* monsters your items are gone. And only 5 heal a day is not much. And time limit is way too short.

I have been playing since it soft launched in Canada.
personally as someone who played a ton of MHW and MHR as well as someone who plays pokemon go regularly I think that monster hunter now has some good stuff in it.
THAT SAID it has a long way to go. I really do hope that interest in the game is big enough to keep the devs interested in supporting it.
its not fair to compare BUUUUT pokemon go has a ton of content to do, catching, raiding, gym fights, pvp fights, pve fights with team rocket, evolving and leveling up your pokemon, and so on.
Currently in MHN the combat is REALLY good, better then I was expecting to be honest. but I wish there were special things to go to in the world. the monster spawns are largely random so I find the interest in going to a specific place is low for me. in fact its funny my interest in going to parks is largely for mining outcrops as these are the bottle necks for me in later gear.
pokemon go was not perfect when it launched it has its own road blocks it had to overcome so the hope is that MHN is popular enough that it gets that care and attention and it will be great.
Pokemon GO also had WAY less when it launched

I'm pretty sure I saw load outs on the game... you just swipe to the right from your current equipped gear. On the page where you equip or forge your gear. That little rectangle where it shows your 6 slotted pieces of gear just swipe it to the left.

The qr code is actually alright, if this game blows up and alot of newcomers come and play, you wont necessarily be as cooperative and dynamic as actual friends who you know, and might have some knowledge on monster hunter.

If they do delete my original comment. It says to unlock some armor you need to craft armor pieces to unlock them. aim to unlock 30 armor pieces to unlock them all. some need 10 or 15 etc to be unlocked
