Hey Aki, just a small tip. Next time you want to do a purée, I definitely recommend adding some sort of liquid. Water obviously works, but you can also add other types for different results (broth for a more flavorful result, milk or cream for a creamier purée, etc). This also allows you to spread it much more easily, and makes it easier to purée in general ☺️
With that current texture, though, you could also make a quenelle of the blitzed edamame if you want that level of thickness while still making a “gourmet” style result. You shape the paste between two spoons until it creates an almost rounded shape, and then plate it as desired.
there's also barely anything in there, a blender can't blend when there's barely anything in it. Plus more liquid

Honestly, with his strong tastebuds and stomach, it will take a lot for him to dislike something. As long as its safe and edible, he has no problem with it.

When making the puree. You can try adding a little water. It makes it easier to blend and it also makes the puree thinner.

the blender could be struggling because it's a very dry and small amount of mix? You could try loosening it up with a bit of liquid next time you try to make puree :) I make a pea puree that I add a bit of milk and some seasonings into, which is nice, I imagine it'd be similar with edamame.
Aki mentioning that she saw comments saying she didn't put enough oil/liquid in the last puree then still not putting enough in this one physically hurt me ㅠ ㅁ ㅠ

As a beginner cooker who has tried making something gourmet a few times, and failing pretty badly, this series so far really resonates with me
Ever since I watched the Demon Slayer movie, I've been getting ads for the movie that are only the scene of Rengoku fighting the demon who wants him to become a demon himself. And every time I see the ad, I feel the urge to cry for at least an hour!

Hi Aki! A little tip for pureeing a puree is either add some stock or add some cream into the thing that ur pureeing! I hope u continue the series with more purees!

This series is really nice, and I love the honesty in it. Sometimes learning new things like food recipes can have a lot of mistakes while learning.
Keep going with these, they’re fun even if they don’t go the way you wanted it to. I’ve tried to make a few “gourmet” dishes out of the snack station at work too. Never turns out amazing, but it’s fun to try!

Im no cook myself since I'm scared of everything in my kitchen but since my mom knows how to cook I know a bunch of stuff. The reason why you weren't capable of spreading it in 6:00 is because it was too thick, that why you add a bunch of olive oli so it can have kind of a liquited look and you're able to spread it also if we were to pick a name for the series Id say "Convenient Gourmet" is a good name

For puree, I do: potato, a little bit of milk, a spoon of butter, and seasoning. It might work for other stuff too :3
