Self- talk can be a great way to reduce our stress level.😊 Thank you for this podcast.
Today's lesson is very useful. I have tantrums without being a toddler. I often have outbursts of anger. The most important thing - do not be down on yourself. 😅

Hi, there.😊 I learned a nice thing, 'being kind to ourselves', which pretty much slipped my mind. I also wonder why our self-talk becomes more common and frequent as we get older, including me.😅 Anyway, thanks a million❗🤗
Don't be down to yourself, learn to be positive and stay away from negative cycle like the toddlers.
Thank you for your comment. Here's a quick correction - we say 'Don't be down ON yourself'.
Wow, thank you for sharing with us which I never thought about how toddler encouraging themselves and kid listening their inner voice. It‘s really impressive. Thank you.
Muito bom. Obrigado.
Brazil.
This lesson was so useful for me. Being a positive and talking yourself like a good friend is really good advices for me. I'll trying. Thank you so much. Keep doing
👍 We're so glad to hear that! Quick tip - there isn't a plural form of 'advice', so the correct sentence would be 'Being positive and talking to yourself like a good friend is really good advice for me.'
This is so awesome
When I try to speak or understand English, I feel as a toddler without the hope to learn it
I do talk with my self sometimes, not in my mind but out loud.
It's so pretty.

When George was a toddler, he loved puréed tuna and cucumber sandwiches and would have tantrums if he didn't have them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Now, George is grown up, and he would make tuna and cucumber sandwiches while saying the steps out loud. Doing this has let George memorise the recipe, so he won't be down on himself for being unable to remember simple things. However, George should cut down on eating tuna and cucumber sandwiches because sometimes, he frequently has self-talk, which goes like this: "I shouldn't only eat tuna and cucumber sandwiches. It's not very nutritious." This topic is getting more frequent and is leading to a negative cycle.
I'm excited about this video especially with Beth's answer)
Thank you!
We're glad you enjoyed it!
