I actually know a little bit about the flaws of the famous theory that Nessie is just the descendant of prehistoric plesiosaurs. See, the problem with that theory is that plesiosaurs could not actually vertically lift their neck to poke out of the water like that. Also, I'd like to point out that plesiosaurs aren't dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were only land-based creatures. With the exception of birds, of course. But back to the topic, I don't think this theory is still impossible because if dinosaurs have had enough time to evolve all the way into Birds, I don't think it's a very large stretch to say that plesiosaurs, if they have somehow survived all these years, have you lost the ability to lift their neck vertically. The problem is- why? What would be the point of evolving such a feature? I honestly can't think of a single reason why a plesiosaur would evolve the ability to vertically lift its neck. What would be the point of it? So yeah, that's everything I know. I hope someone found this interesting.
The sparklies in the water looks exactly like water shining on a wake made from a boat. The boat makes ripples that will last for a long time, and can look like a sea creature. When you're whale-watching, it takes some practice to tell the difference between a boat wake and a surfacing whale.
