Sick, I been saying this for years about 125s. They are not just stepping stones though they are good for riders that still want to race or get back into racing for fun and low cost especially when it’s so easy to do you your own work, it’s a massive saving labour costs, bike shops might not like it but you don’t owe anyone a living, service is a 2way thing. Good work anyways🤙
Carson is one lucky dude to have such a talented dad the build is absolutely sick!! Always wondered why nobody really puts the 125 motors in a AF bike this video answered a lot of questions. I've looked at the bud racing 125 aluminum frame bike and the motor does seem to be mounted kind of high and awkwardly.
Uncle Jeff's Kitchen also steel frame>aluminum frame. Thats why KTM hasnt done aluminum frames...the japanese companies did it because it was cheaper i believe.
I used to race motocross on 4 wheelers I had a polaris outlaw and yfz450. I've been looking in to starting riding again I sold both four wheelers in 2011 to pay for my dads spinal fusion back surgery. I've really been looking at getting a 250 four stroke but would a 125 2 stroke be better to get or should i go with a four stroke?
That's what we need to see from kawi! BTW, this is why you skip MIG and buy a TIG rig. MIG is good for throwing down constant beads on work sites, but TIG shines right here.
I just got a new one now i want to upgrade it,? i cant build one like that but what can i do to make it a little faster? I love 125cc my first dirt bike was a Cr 125
how do you polish the swinging arm like that? i can polish my CR 125 alloy frame easily with metal polish, But it doesnt do a thing to polishing up the swinging arm... just looks the same after a good polish..
Use a dremel with a those soft cloth tips. Along with some of that blue magic aluminum polish. Should shine it right up. Takes some time, but it's well worth it.
Spudly1234567 I actually won this one in a competition from buildbase but I see what your getting at lol I’ve had so many mx bikes over the years I always want what I haven’t got that’s just me !
Well if your riding a four stroke I understand it is quite boring compared to a 2 stroke. Nothing like getting into the power band and that rush. I hope they let them race more because they will dominate if so.
Man I feel like the 125 class is the sweet spot for 2 stroke motocross I'm big enough for a 450 easily, or a 250 2 stroke but I think if I decide to get a dirtbike at 5'11"-6'00" 168lbs I'll still go with a full sized 125cc. I'd 100% kill myself if I owned a modern 450 like the new Honda, that thing is straight up evil, no way I'm getting on a dirt bike capable of R6 speed and acceleration OFF road.
450s are actually easy as fuck to ride. Dont listen to people who say they are uncontrollable beasts cause they aren't. They're actually really really easy to ride
Why didn't he say a word about the best engine builder ever porting the cylinder????? Whats up with that? Tom Morgan makes motors rip. TMR racing is the best.Shame on you
You are so correct. Tom has worked for many of the big builders before starting TMR. But even today many of the big names turn to Tom for their special projects.
The only bike I've ever owned was an 88 KX125. Loved that thing.
125 2 stroke MX never dies!
This is the chopper of motocross. So badass bro
Such a badass KX 🔥 Carson Brown freaking rips 😎🤘
Mike French haha rock on bro
With KTM, and now Yamaha, updating 2-strokes, I would love to see the other big brands do it. Carson rips! 👍

I agree with every single word..

the professor go for a 125 2 stroke, cheaper and easier to work on and they keep up with the 250 four strokes
A perfect fit-- rotator in liquid cooler, helps ignition- i.e. exhaust ports!
That's what we need to see from kawi!

The swingarms come with clear anodizing.. Thats why it doesn't work.. You have to strip the anodizing first..
Snitchy1989 sand till it's fully smooth first with 100/200/300/400grit wet sandpaper then dry and use mother's polish with microfiber rag
My mom lived next to James Stewart in Florida

Danny Murphy it'll only go as fast as you make it go... I went from 125 to 450 and I love it. I do want to build a CR250 in a newer CRF chassis
J Blob Sounds fun man would love to see videos on your build I'll sub your channel
They all go as slow as you want bro
450s are actually easy as fuck to ride. Dont listen to people who say they are uncontrollable beasts cause they aren't. They're actually really really easy to ride
