It's definitely unique. There seems to be a lot of F-Rank adventurer that are actually really strong anime this season. This definitely isn't one of those.
To quote an abridged series that might be relevant to this anime "It's a big open world no one is going to notice a few glitches. F***ing Betheda"
We found the Bethesda Anime
Programmers discovered a way to send people to the afterlife and doesn’t know how to report that to management.
The villagers just bursting into flames was quite the shock. Then to learn it was part of a game script and the girl is back to normal as a possible bug just immediately hooked me.
Thank you for this spoiler cause I was going to drop this show upon hearing this reaction. Now I can try this show out.
@@Balloushop13 What spoiler? That all happened in this episode. Including the part about Nikola suspected to be a bug, because she respawned before the expected time. Now the big question is, is she going to run according to her scripted routine or is she going to continue not following her script, i.e. as a bug. Will there be another Nikola spawned at the village that actually follows the script? Can't wait to see what happens next week.
This will help fix Sunraku's buggy gameplay in another world from Shangri La Frontier.
Hahahaha >_
Rick and Morty did the funniest and saddest version of this where you live an entire VR life an a few real time hours and then wake up realizing it didn't mean anything.
Art reflects life.
I'd never play a game like that. Might make a lot of money for the psychiatric industry though.
I think Nikola bug happened because they made a promise to go on an adventure together and it became a mission but at the same time Nikola was also destined to die, so the system tries to do both and the bug occur.
The twist at the end got me good, now I’m excited!
The ending really did surprise me. I just felt a sense of hopelessness. It's even more impactful when it's just a normal little girl who just enjoys life and then she spontaneously combusts! WTH!? Not what I was expecting.
Hemorrhoid dragon. That's gotta be a bug, right? 🐶
The dragons actually reminded of something I saw in a Ghibli movie. I can't remember which one.
That's the first thing I read when I saw the subtitle.
I went into the show blind. I had seen part of a trailer with no subtitles so I didn't know what to expect. This is one of the most interesting first episode of an anime in a little while. I enjoyed your breakdown. You just got yourself a new subscriber
I think we found our dark horse of the season. I'm definitely going to be keeping up with this anime. 👍🏾
i went into this show blind, and was glad i did. i was thinking that Haga was some sort of demi-god just reporting to the regional manager god about how that section of the world was going. didn't know it was a VR game. the female lead looked like rosemayne from Ascendance of a Bookworm.
Yeah, her appearance reminds me of Rosemyne too.
Damn, that scene at the end caught me by surprise 😱
Hoga is definitely an interesting MC!
Glad that Nikola is back!
What a unique Isekai!
I am very hyped to see what will happen in the next episodes 👀😎
As a programmer I understand the need for and concept of QA but never really thought about it from a game perspective. These storylines, the events, the characters, QA has to experience them a million different ways just to get them to break. Sure it's all a game, but some of the stories from modern games can be heartbreaking and QA have to experience it over and over. Gives me a new appreciation for the role.
QA is a nightmare for a programmer >_
Those frong frighten me its like mix of AOT and something from made in abyss. Konosuba frogs are Vanila compared to thse nightmares. The twist of the series really shook me. A QA memeber stuck on in isekai man what in interesting premise
summer seasons always feel like a lull. I still think we're in a golden age of anime.
Unique plot finally 😮
When they started burning I was like wtf looks cool
Yeah, this show is really good.
If I recall right, I think the answer to why they are trapped is in vol 5 or 6.
So it might be in the season finale or early into season 2 for when it's asnwered.
Read the Manga it's sad horrifying but funny as hell with some things in there that will always keep you from expecting it but not expecting that. It's an EMOTIONAL ROLLER CUSTER with EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!!!!!!!
Here comes a source reader spoiling it for everyone.
At first you had my interest, now you have my attention.
I checked out the manga after this. I can say nothing about it without spoiling things, but that alone gives an indication of what we're dealing with here.
By the same studio that did kamikatsu but looks like it is better production so far 🤞 The ending with Nikola dying was sad even if she comes back alive. Being trapped in a video game world was unexpected since this could have just been a simple game series with debugging. I suppose the way he killed the boss is hard because it is meant to destroy the village as a fixed event. Although Nikola looks like an even bigger bug. The direction the story goes was well done and unexpected. QA is unique in itself already
People hate the animation but I think its fine, even close to good.
the bane of beta testers
Tbh, I was going to drop it but that ending got me curious to keep watching.
1:10 you said the quiet part loud there.
I love it.
Just wait till he watches My Deer Friend Nokotan
no one should watch it till sunday given the subs out are machine translated
I had no idea what this anime is about. I was going to skip it because of the QA in the title. I'm a programmer, QA is a nightmare word T_T
I was not expecting an SAO like story. I am curious what is going to happen to Nikola is she really is a bug. I am glad she is back. Haga also expects her to respawn but at a later time.
As for the other debuggers, I get the impression that they did not survive because Haga said something about being the last one because he was cautious. Did he imply the other died because they were careless.
I thought this wasn't dropping until the 6th
6th in japan, japan is like 12 hours ahead of us so it's the 5th for us
@@AHBrandonReviews you’re right, that and it wasn’t listed under summer 2024 on CR when I was looking for it.
Sounds Interesting gonna watch it now. Also what is your opinon on Tasuketsu, apparently it's a mystery anime with only a few reviews.
The death game one? I dropped it
@@AHBrandonReviews I had no idea what it was about . I'll hold off on watching it for now.
@@AHBrandonReviews I'm really excited for the "Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?" This season.
