Twisters Review - 2024's Top Gun / Endgame / No Way Home - Cinematic Experience

Twisters is the definition of a Summer Blockbuster.
As someone who has tested every surround sound system since the first one he ever heard with 1996's Twister , it's sequel might have had more to live up to for me, personally, than most. Blissfully it did, and then some. In fact, I may just like Twisters (2024) even more than Twister (1996) against all odds!
Not only are Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar Jones and Anthony Ramos bonafide movie stars here, the supporting cast of Katy O'Brian, Sasha Lane, David Corenswet (Superman!) Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, Tunde Adebimpe, Kiernan Shipka are clearly set up to be the next wave of stars as well. I can already tell this is going to be one of those "No Way THEY were in that?" movies in 5 years, the cast is incredible.
It's also lovingly Directed by Lee Isaac Chung. Who told all of us at Cinemacon how much he was obsessed with Tornadoes and this world, and it shows. His collaboration here working with this cast and producer Steven Spielberg makes an absolutely Amblin worthy Summer Blockbuster. The Laughs, Cheers, Tension, Fear, Adrenaline, Romance, and Passion are as big as a Category 5 Twister. This movie was an all time in Theatre experience. I'd put it up there with not just the first but also - Top Gun, Endgame, and No Way Home as an all time cinematic journey. Loved it. Can't wait to see it again!
