I just got one and I love mine. So many old SD cards full of old pictures. I thought it said it can be used on android android phone or tablet but not having much luck. So I guess I'll buy another one for my android devices. I'm still going to do a little research but I know there is a big difference between Apple and Android. I haven't used mine on a computer just my iPhone and tried my android devices. I actually need a new computer. Got that on my list and a good scanning device for photos. Great video.

@@binaryview6115 your welcome. I even recommend my sons to get one. I don’t think the Apple brand lets you as much but I could be wrong. I really enjoyed sending old pictures to family without putting my photos and videos on my phone. I’m pretty sure I can put photos off my IPhone to a SD card. Technology just keeps getting better.

Mine works with my older iPhonex and my iPhone 13Pro. I’m thinking it could be that you’re port needs cleaning.
      Thanks for the comment.

Power off your device and try again, if that doesn’t work, try reinstalling the app.

I’m using iPhone 13 Pro in the video.
My tip is to every so often you need to power off your iPhone. Most people hardly ever do this unless they get an update. Secondly this advice goes for pretty much any computer device. Lots of issues can arise from never restarting your computers or phones and letting them sleep all the time.
Also, try deleting the app and redownloading it again can help.
Make sure your phones lightning port is always clean. Never plug a dirty power supply cable into your phone.
Hope this helps and thanks for your comment.

If you’re laptop doesn’t have a USB-C port or SD/MicroSD reader, you’ll have to buy an adapter or Reader.
      Thanks for your question.

    How do you eject

    • @binaryview6115
      @binaryview6115  4 месяца назад

I’m assuming you’re talking about the system tray menu where you can see background apps running. When you insert a thumb drive there’s generally an icon that shows you plugged it in.
Right click the icon and you can eject safely.
Most modern computers and thumb drives today I don’t think require it, but I still do it out of habit, because I’m one of the old school guys that’s had a computer since 1980..lol.
Rule of thumb, when you remove anything from your computer to be completely safe, don’t be accessing it. Don’t be viewing a photo or file.
You want to really be careful?, just shutdown your computer the normal way and then remove the drive.
      Hope this was helpful.
