Then there is an LH surge, followed by ovulation on day 14.. Then the Last half of the cycle (last 2 weeks) is the Luteal phase, where LH tells the corpeus luteum (a little pillow for the egg to lie on) to grow.

Very similar exams, I would have to say that internal medicine involved more cardio. But family medicine, involved more diabetes, hypertension,and CAD. Internal medicine was definitely more challenging for me than family. It may help. But I studied a different study guide for the family medicine exam, but the blueprints are similar.
