I remember when P!nk did "Dear, Mr President" and was still friends with the talented but crazy Linda Perry, she said "I'm not going to be played on country radio stations anyway." I guess, she changed a bit. Good on her! Always loved her.

The Chris stapleton part of the song is the best part. When he comes in I get chills every time. I could listen to that part on repeat
I know this is an older video, but I’m suddenly obsessed with it. The lyrics are simple, but powerful and really let the performers put all that grit and human emotion behind it. It’s stellar. I do wish they had maybe traded off one verse instead of just having Chris compliment, but yeah, it’s fabulous.

Notice how she is having various levels of success on her "you's" coming out on pitch? Easy way to fix that would be to anchor it with h, so with "h-you". That is a Tara pearl of wisdom
