Great video! After 6 months riding this bike (Grizl 6 AL) i think its one of the best value for money bikes on the market. Three things i have changed until now: Saddle: i find it way to hard, i changed it the first week i bought it. Handlebar: i choosed one with a little flare because i am going bikepacking, plus the bike looks sick with flare handlebar Tubeless tyres:I had some flats in the middle of nowhere so i changed it. The tires are tubeless ready and the rim taped, you just need valves and milk!
would you recommend this for going to work? I have 30km distance. Im thinking of this or grail. But would love to be able to put my backpack/laptop in a basket on the bike instead of on my back for example.
@@Kimzillas Yes you could, Grail is similar, i think they have the same geometry.. But Grizl as a bikepacking bike,it has many more opinions to add bags to the frame. So if you plan to carry stuff with you i would choose the Grizl!
Update after 2000km! I highly recommend this bike to everyone who doesnt want to be stopped because of the bad road condition. You can go everywhere, nothing can stop you. It is a love at first side ❤️
@@magdalenaczerwinska3399 Hi. I´m 168 cm high and I chose XS bike. If you are hesitating between XS and S, choose S because XS has smaller wheels. I already changed wheels because of that. :)
Do all of them have hydraulic disc brakes? I was searching in their page for the components I don't really have it clear. I'm kind of new when it comes to bycicle brands and components
I heard that REI in USA is going to start selling Canyon. True? Also, would you recommend this same bike in the suspension version ? What are the pros and cons for each option? Thanks and great video
clarification: stated you can go up to a 50mm tire, then said this that is 8mm more than what the Grizl allowed? Meaning you put on 50m and they were fine? but Canyon specs states they would not recomend?
Hi Dennis, I said that this is 8mm wider than what the Grail allows. On the Grizl you can mount up to a 50mm tire in 700c and only up to 42mm on the Grail. This is also recommended by Canyon.

Thanks Kostas! Sounds like you made all the correct changes👌 Enjoy the bikepacking!

This is so great! So informative. 👏🏽
With the shorter reach would the Grizl be more prone to toe overlap with the front tire? Thanks!
Does it make sense to buy this bike for bike packing when I'm 95 kg heavy?
Great video! How is the 10 speed GRX groupset on this? Would it be possible to upgrade later?
Mine coming soon cant wait

Think you could do 3 months straight riding doing a tour across Europe on this?
Yes, definitely! With the comfortable geometry and various mounting options it is a great option for long tours.
Would you recomed it for training? You can run only so much so gravel biking would be a great alternative for training.
What colour is this on the canyon website?
What year and what model is that bike ??
Sono indeciso sulla scelta del colore se prendere curry o Grey della grizl cf sl 6 cosa mi consigli?
I personally like the grey colour! You will never get over it.
Are the wheels 700c?
For sizing on this, yours is a small I’m 70cm would you for small or medium?
I need you to call Guinness Book Of Records. 70cm?!
Since I bought it I didn't touch my Cervelo R5😂
Ouch. That’s a lot of money down the drain 🤣

@@buycycle Thanks!, I missed the Grail/Grizl model part!
That is some heavy bikes. My Caad12 is less than 7 kg.
you are comparing a raod bike to a gravel bike ... completely different purpose
@@xKillYourTVx even trail mtb and xc is built to be light... gravel is no exception
@@EverythingWasGreat which gravel bike would you recommend for low weight?
