    Love watching y'all play in the dirt.
    Have only been out twice this whole year so these videos help me dig vicariously.
    Pretty good pan at the end of the day.
    Be well

      Good to hear from you again! Water is really low in East Fork these days, if you get a chance to come out sometime let me know! I miss finding gold below Cattle Canyon where you guys used to dig, that's where I first got my feet wet back in the day. Hope to see you out there sometime

    Good to see you back out! You know, that spot across from you is also an inside bend. If you do not mind moving a bunch of HUGE boulders out of the way I bet there is some good stuff hanging out there.

    So how is the law enforcement up there now that mining of any kind is illegal on the East Fork? I haven’t been prospecting anywhere since the 90’s, and just happened on an article talking about the land designation change up there that now makes mining illegal .. and that really pissed me off. Are the rangers actually enforcing it?

    So I’ve been watching your videos from years ago.. Is Google Earth still a great tool to use to identify possible locations?

    Is there a way to contact you directly? Hoping to ask a couple of questions. I live in the Rialto area. Thank you.

    I’m a newbie so i reached out to the rangers up there to see if i needed a permit or pass to pan for gold on the east fork. She told me it was illegal. WTF!?!?

    do you encounter wildlife? bears? lions? snakes?

    • @HereIsWhereWeAre
      @HereIsWhereWeAre  2 года назад +5

      There are bears in the area but we're pretty good about hanging our food and stuff. There's definitely rattlesnakes. The mountain lions we never see, but they see us :)
      A treat is seeing the Nelson Bighorn sheep on a cliff in the distance

      @@buddyboy66 we always put a bread twister through the zipper pulls so just in case when we come back we know something's wrong. I was alone and I had some fishing gear out and other stuff and it wasn't touched so I new something's up. Took me awhile to get it out of the tent.
