Living with your parents at 22Yo is totally normal. All my friends who left early are stuck in the renting hell where they spend so much on rents that they can't put money on the side to buy a house. Its cool when you are young, but the older you get, the more you will regret not sticking with your parents a couple years after you got a job to spare money. Dont leave your parent's house unless you have 50k on your bank account. its just 2-3 years of working and sparing money. After this, you can directly make a loan to buy an apartment,

The loans, interests, and payments are just so much and even if you do happen to get one. Failing to pay back the loan/payment means that the bank technically owns your house. You don’t even own your own house. I wouldn’t advice someone to buy a house unless they are financially stable.

I am way behind at university (my generation already has Bachelors and I'm still in year 1). Therapy hasn't been very helpful, my family hasn't been supportive and I lost most motivation I only go to the gym. But this video somewhat helped but I still feel insignificant and behind like a failure. My country is difficult to get a job that can sustain living on my own. I never lived on my own! Lived with mom until I was 36. She sold the house and lived with my sister for 4 years. Now I live with my 2 brothers and we all pay the bills. I even have the responsibility of collecting the money and paying the rent. All is good.
The world is different these days. People don’t get jobs right out of school, start working their way up the ladder, have a wife and kids by 25. Lots of people are now only getting where they want to be in terms of career in their 30’s, after spending their 20’s studying and getting experience. Lots of People also aren’t having kids until 30’s too. As long as you can find some kind of goal and work towards it, while supporting yourself and not having to rely on others, you’re doing fine.
Hey man, just wanted to say i first thought of you as just a buff dude doing fitness content (still watched though) but it's very interesting and brave of you to share your struggles so openly. You're not being dogmatic like all those other influencers but instead you share your experience and thought process. I'm 22 too and figuring out life too. What helped me is just focusing on doing a tiny little bit everyday (reading everyday, working out everyday, studying everyday, stopped drinking, smoking). Start small, don't push yourself and the small incremental progress quickly turns into greatly improved self confidence.

I'm 29 and I'm living with my parents too. Well, only with my father because my mom died from cancer in 2010. My little sister (24) and my little brother (20) live with my dad too. If our grandmother (81) were to get sick, we'd invite her to move in with us as well, so we could properly care for her. It's our family house. Why would we move out and leave our family behind without any reason?
Hindsight is 20/20 so here are my two cents worth. We have little in common, but I too was basically a loner. Still am. I can easily talk and interact with others in a business setting but am somewhat awkward in a social setting. Some of my choices, early on, were choosing the lesser of two evils. I joined the Air Force (4-year commitment) to avoid being drafted in the Army (2 years required). I was 18 when I joined and today, at 72, that was the longest 4 years in my life. I figured in 4 years I would have more direction in what I wanted to do with my life. I was wrong. I was just as clueless as when I went in. I did know for certain that the military was not my cup of tea, but my good experiences far outweighed the bad. What I know now is life experience is real growth and the most influential experiences were required/forced and not chosen. The perfection in life is what youth lacks in experience/knowledge is balanced by drive, risk and lack of patience. Failure, in most instances, is not failure but education - the road of hard knocks. Even with the best advice, there are things we need to learn for ourselves. Listen but choose for yourself. Push the limits. Accept yourself. We all want to impress others but it is a temporary fix. Expand your mind as the opportunities are limitless. Good luck Dylan.

When you move out of your parents house, consider moving to a major city. I was stuck in a similar situation 6 years ago. I had always lived in a suburban town which made me feel very comfortable and never really had that sense of urgency which you mentioned. I decided to move to London which not only opened my life up to many more daily opportunities, but also the hustle and bustle motivated me and kept me on my feet. Regardless of what you choose to do many people enjoy your content including myself, keep it up Dylan ✌️

As someone who moved out at 21 and came back, it’s a blessing to be home with my mother. I took a step into going to college and have been working on myself this past two years. I’m currently at a good weight and overall happy compared to where I was before. Currently 24 years old now. Not sure I will rush out anytime soon. But eventually I will.

Currently 24 and have “done” a lot so far in the past two years. I proposed 2 years ago, got a house a 1 and a half ago, graduated 8months ago, and am about to start my dream job possibly in January, as well as have our wedding this upcoming may. For now I am definitely a swimming shark and these are checkpoints i feel like i have spent the past 5 years working for and are just now paying off. During those 5 years of school and working unfulfilling jobs i definitely felt that stagnation. However, as long as you keep your head above water and never take your eye off your goal you’ll get there. Once im married and have my dream job it’ll be another 3-5 years until i reach the head of my next milestones. Who knows if i’ll make it that far, but the idea of pursuing a bigger goal feeds the fire inside. Always keep that fire burning so that even in the coldest environments you’ll still be warm.

Detox from the internet completely and go out in the real world to find your place…. Ive noticed that one major issue that made me fall back in my jourmey was that I was addicted online and i was ideologically possessed…. Like i needed to gain back control of my brain and actually focus on my life and on my journey…. People online dont care about you….. You should strive to find your own strength in life by having strong connections with people who actually care about you… The internet is the biggest shitshow ever to exist, its here to stay tho, but legit if you want peace of mind you need to break all bad habits… Thats the biggest one for most people

If your trying to make new accomplishments that you can look back and be proud on, you could try and make that the center of your RUclips channel perhaps. Like create a whole video on committing yourself to learning martial arts for a few weeks. Or fencing, or medieval combat, or learn learn how to throw javelins! idk! You got the jacked body for those types of things anyways. Just a thought but those are interesting enough for people to click on them a do well on RUclips, and learning stuff like that would probably feel quite rewarding.

College isn't for everyone and I would live at home as long as I could if I had it to do over again so I could get my life's plans laid out... Don't rush it or you will be in debt with house payments, car payments, health insurance and all that just to start off with and might get in debt.. I'm 48, if I had it to do all over again I would have joined the military and retired in 20 years while using their platform to get a free education. Yah they used to move out at 16 to join the military, work in mines, construction/apprentice, or because they had huge inheritance/loan to start a business. Nothing wrong with staying with a good family until youve developed enough substantial skills to compete on your own. Better than moving out too early and always living paycheck to paycheck stressing over rent with no time leftover to improve yourself and advance your position.

I’m in UK here. 19, work 33 hours a week. 1/4 of a money goes to rent, a lil bit for tax and NI. I don’t have the grades for college or Uni, nor do I like the education system so I won’t go back. Plan is on working so I can save money for my own apartment. Around £40k. Will take me about 7-9 years to save. Would rather live with my parents and save money, than live on my own and struggle, with a potential of eviction. UK is rough. There’s even 20-35 year olds at home because they can’t afford certain things. Average rent per month for a 1 bed apartment is £1.25k a month. Most earn that to 1.5k a month. Means people can’t save because all their money is spent on rent, tax, bills and charges. America May be crap but UK is worse. Don’t move here unless you’re extremely wealthy because being a millionaire in this country means crap all, your money will taxed to shit

I never lived on my own! Lived with mom until I was 36. She sold the house and lived with my sister for 4 years. Now I live with my 2 brothers and we all pay the bills. I even have the responsibility of collecting the money and paying the rent. All is good.

The world is different these days. People don’t get jobs right out of school, start working their way up the ladder, have a wife and kids by 25. Lots of people are now only getting where they want to be in terms of career in their 30’s, after spending their 20’s studying and getting experience. Lots of People also aren’t having kids until 30’s too.
As long as you can find some kind of goal and work towards it, while supporting yourself and not having to rely on others, you’re doing fine.

Hey man, just wanted to say i first thought of you as just a buff dude doing fitness content (still watched though) but it's very interesting and brave of you to share your struggles so openly. You're not being dogmatic like all those other influencers but instead you share your experience and thought process.
I'm 22 too and figuring out life too. What helped me is just focusing on doing a tiny little bit everyday (reading everyday, working out everyday, studying everyday, stopped drinking, smoking). Start small, don't push yourself and the small incremental progress quickly turns into greatly improved self confidence.

I'm 29 and I'm living with my parents too. Well, only with my father because my mom died from cancer in 2010. My little sister (24) and my little brother (20) live with my dad too. If our grandmother (81) were to get sick, we'd invite her to move in with us as well, so we could properly care for her.
It's our family house. Why would we move out and leave our family behind without any reason?

Hindsight is 20/20 so here are my two cents worth. We have little in common, but I too was basically a loner. Still am. I can easily talk and interact with others in a business setting but am somewhat awkward in a social setting. Some of my choices, early on, were choosing the lesser of two evils. I joined the Air Force (4-year commitment) to avoid being drafted in the Army (2 years required). I was 18 when I joined and today, at 72, that was the longest 4 years in my life. I figured in 4 years I would have more direction in what I wanted to do with my life. I was wrong. I was just as clueless as when I went in. I did know for certain that the military was not my cup of tea, but my good experiences far outweighed the bad. What I know now is life experience is real growth and the most influential experiences were required/forced and not chosen. The perfection in life is what youth lacks in experience/knowledge is balanced by drive, risk and lack of patience. Failure, in most instances, is not failure but education - the road of hard knocks. Even with the best advice, there are things we need to learn for ourselves. Listen but choose for yourself. Push the limits. Accept yourself. We all want to impress others but it is a temporary fix. Expand your mind as the opportunities are limitless. Good luck Dylan.

When you move out of your parents house, consider moving to a major city. I was stuck in a similar situation 6 years ago. I had always lived in a suburban town which made me feel very comfortable and never really had that sense of urgency which you mentioned. I decided to move to London which not only opened my life up to many more daily opportunities, but also the hustle and bustle motivated me and kept me on my feet. Regardless of what you choose to do many people enjoy your content including myself, keep it up Dylan ✌️

As someone who moved out at 21 and came back, it’s a blessing to be home with my mother. I took a step into going to college and have been working on myself this past two years. I’m currently at a good weight and overall happy compared to where I was before. Currently 24 years old now. Not sure I will rush out anytime soon. But eventually I will.

Currently 24 and have “done” a lot so far in the past two years. I proposed 2 years ago, got a house a 1 and a half ago, graduated 8months ago, and am about to start my dream job possibly in January, as well as have our wedding this upcoming may. For now I am definitely a swimming shark and these are checkpoints i feel like i have spent the past 5 years working for and are just now paying off. During those 5 years of school and working unfulfilling jobs i definitely felt that stagnation. However, as long as you keep your head above water and never take your eye off your goal you’ll get there. Once im married and have my dream job it’ll be another 3-5 years until i reach the head of my next milestones. Who knows if i’ll make it that far, but the idea of pursuing a bigger goal feeds the fire inside. Always keep that fire burning so that even in the coldest environments you’ll still be warm.

Dylan, you are not a loser if you live with your parents with 22 years old, I mean, majority of the people leave their parents home when they end their careers in university and that happens like around 23 or 24 years old, and if you study medicine is like around 25 years old. The important is that if you get too old (more than 24) you help them with money and with that they will accept you. Don't worry Dylan, you are a normal guy, for me you are not a loser.

Detox from the internet completely and go out in the real world to find your place…. Ive noticed that one major issue that made me fall back in my jourmey was that I was addicted online and i was ideologically possessed…. Like i needed to gain back control of my brain and actually focus on my life and on my journey…. People online dont care about you….. You should strive to find your own strength in life by having strong connections with people who actually care about you… The internet is the biggest shitshow ever to exist, its here to stay tho, but legit if you want peace of mind you need to break all bad habits… Thats the biggest one for most people

Hey just gonna throw this out there. You obviously have extreme dedication towards bodybuilding and RUclips. If your trying to make new accomplishments that you can look back and be proud on, you could try and make that the center of your RUclips channel perhaps. Like create a whole video on committing yourself to learning martial arts for a few weeks. Or fencing, or medieval combat, or learn learn how to throw javelins! idk! You got the jacked body for those types of things anyways. Just a thought but those are interesting enough for people to click on them a do well on RUclips, and learning stuff like that would probably feel quite rewarding.

College isn't for everyone and I would live at home as long as I could if I had it to do over again so I could get my life's plans laid out... Don't rush it or you will be in debt with house payments, car payments, health insurance and all that just to start off with and might get in debt.. I'm 48, if I had it to do all over again I would have joined the military and retired in 20 years while using their platform to get a free education. Yah they used to move out at 16 to join the military, work in mines, construction/apprentice, or because they had huge inheritance/loan to start a business. Nothing wrong with staying with a good family until youve developed enough substantial skills to compete on your own.
Better than moving out too early and always living paycheck to paycheck stressing over rent with no time leftover to improve yourself and advance your position.

19, work 33 hours a week. 1/4 of a money goes to rent, a lil bit for tax and NI.
I don’t have the grades for college or Uni, nor do I like the education system so I won’t go back.
Plan is on working so I can save money for my own apartment. Around £40k. Will take me about 7-9 years to save.
Would rather live with my parents and save money, than live on my own and struggle, with a potential of eviction.
UK is rough. There’s even 20-35 year olds at home because they can’t afford certain things.
Average rent per month for a 1 bed apartment is £1.25k a month. Most earn that to 1.5k a month. Means people can’t save because all their money is spent on rent, tax, bills and charges.
America May be crap but UK is worse. Don’t move here unless you’re extremely wealthy because being a millionaire in this country means crap all, your money will taxed to shit

I have no education make $55,000 a year zero debt even after buying myself a $5000 gaming PC this Christmas. With my skill set in HVAC I could make up to $65000 a year if I wanted. I know guys in plumbing that make $80000. So yea if school ain't right for you then don't do it and if people look down on you for that then you know who's not your friends.
