I'm a Fashion Design student and Iris van Herpen is a great role model for me. She uses Fashion as a medium of expression like nothing I have seen before. She is truly inspiring 😍
You are brilliant and so unique. Your designs are 30 years ahead of their time. When I first saw Earthrise and Sensory Seas I was overwhelmed for a moment in time and thought that this was the most beautiful fashion/art I have ever seen in my life. Great flow and colors, yet completely unwearable.
It’s not designed to be worn in an everyday setting lol. Its a work of art! And many celebrities do actually wear her pieces for things like events, photoshoots, and also music videos etc.

@@erikperhs_ I mean of course if you’re lucky enough to come into possession of of of her pieces you could wear it whenever you wanted lol. But it’s not designed for that
you could however design a piece that is artistic like these and everyday wearable at the same time, I often use custom made dresses and asymetric skirts in my daily life
