Another great video Dave and that last Z train he was rolling but anyway, my friend as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Thank you Chainsaw! When they rerouted the line, they designed it so freight train could run it at 60 mph when they could achieve it! Thanks for watching my friend!
Hi Dave, awesome vid, as always! We are an italian family (Angela, Giuliano Grimaldi and I). We really like american trains. Your vids are amazing. We really appreciate your channel. Absolutely love the scenery! Keep 'em coming 👍🏻. Just a question: where are these trains headed?
Thank you Lucia, I really appreciate that! The majority of the westbound trains are headed for the west coast to Portland, Oregon or Seattle/Tacoma, Washington. Eastbounds, mainly Chicago, Illinois. The eastbound grain trains are empty and go to various grain elevators in the midwest and the oil trains are empty headed back to the Bakken oil field in the state of North Dakota. Mind you, this is the simple answer but I hope it helps. Thanks for watching my friend!
Thank you Angela! Yes, they do make stops. Sometimes they have to stop on a siding to allow another train to pass, then there are "crew change points" where they stop and a new crew takes the train, and sometimes they will stop at a railyard with a fueling area and take on fuel. The crews have to abide by a set of operating rules and are only allowed to be on-duty for a maximum of twelve hours then they are required to take a minimum of ten hours off before they can return to work. Thanks for watching my friend!
Nice location with good views. Looks like a small yard or something there. Is it used for MOW equipment? Colors are popping, just like here in Wis. 🍁🍂👍🇺🇲
Thank you John! it is a small yard they use to store rail and when they are doing track maintenance, they park the equipment here so they don't have to run it all the way into Libby. Thanks for watching my friend!
Ciao Dave, mi fai vedere un video dove i treni caricano il carburante? Sai perché qui in Italia i treni sono elettrici.. grazie mille saluti da Angela ❤😊.
Hi Angela, unfortunately I don't have any video of the fueling racks, the closest one to me is three hours away. Here's a link to a picture of one of BNSF's fueling racks, I hope that helps, Dave cs.trains.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/telligent-evolution-components-attachments/13-792-00-00-02-28-99-77/IMG_5F00_0434.JPG

Mamma mia! Dave, che bello ma ,questi treni fanno fermate? Oppure si fermano solo a destinazione? Thanks, per i tuoi video ❤😊.
