Xone 92 and 96 are more popular and arguably better.

How does the PX5 compare with the latest xone 92 mk2

I have the DJM V10 LF . I used it for many sets i have finally come up with some thoughts . I figured how to boot into service mode , then i also figured there is some noise generated by the internal send returns that affects the headphone cueing and can be heard. This noise however does not affect the master output or the booth output . One other thing is the new power management firmware as well .
I wish they sold kits to easily go from THE V10 LF TO V10 and vice versa and also OEM rotary Kits .
Now im looking at getting the A9 to try it out . The sound output of the V10 also has a nice crystal clear warm sound .
To get the noise , have the built in Master Mix knob on the send and return set to max then have the master mix switch on and cue the master output . Have no signal running through and you will hear a white noise that can be affected by the FX .

You can hear the noise in your video at 8:12 and 8:13 when you max out the filter 8:13

Great review, I love that you started with pioneer. I grew up playing on 600 and 300. I own a xone:23c now.

Xone px5 could’ve been a good option to feature another mixer with quality fx built in. And one other negative about 750 mk2 might be the sound quality but depends on the sound systems you’re connected to I guess

What about the sound quality on the 750mk2 compared with A9 or Nexus2?

Xone:92 has been on the version 2 for a while now. Also sold as "Limited Edition". That has improved preamps for phono inputs and also ch-fader curve selector with 3 different options. Also filter-pop has been eliminated.
This Xone:92 presented here is the mk1 (but a facelift version of course).

Xone:96 all the way. The V10 is very compelling, but the cost is really hard to justify.

I think the Traktor S8 should be on this list as it can also be used as a mixer.

Can the PIONEER A9 HANDLE A SHURE SM7B MICROPHONE which requires a high signal output gain of atleast 60db

    • @PassionateDJ
      @PassionateDJ  5 месяцев назад +1

I tried to find this, but couldn't find those specs published by Pioneer DJ.
That said, the A9 costs $2,699 and the SM7B costs $399. I'd be more worried about pairing a mic to the mixer, than the other way around.
Idea: buy the A9, and if your mic isn't hot enough, you can upgrade to the SM7dB (and sell your current one). It has a built-in preamp:
      amzn.to/3ShBDyY
      Hope this helps!

The Dj hook up has a really shady warranty program, Sweetwater gives you a much better warranty and support for your equipment, gives you peace of mind for the same price

I'm betting the "Ultimate" Rotary Mixer Guide will never see that light of day because they're sponsored by a retailer that doesn't sell or have access to them.

I'd have to disagree with the sound quality. Denon have always had superior sound output to Pioneer. Pioneer has always sounded harsh and scratchy. But as you say, subjective to the listener.
