Congrats on two years being free! This Sunday my wife and I are going into a prison to provide a church service for the women who are in primarily for drug addictions. I am going to play your video from 17:17 to the fire before I share my Sermon. Your comments will be encouraging and providing an example of success! Keep pressing on and don’t give in, or give up, or bow down to those things that lead to bondage! Proud of you! “The thief (Devil) comes ONLY to kill, steal, and destroy, I (Jesus) have come that they (You and I) may have life, and life to the full.”-John 10:10.

2 years dude. Well done man. Massive congrats. Mentioned this early on when you first mentioned your struggles but I haven't touched anything in 23 years. Stopped at 19 and every year that went past it got better and better. Im at the point now where I dont even remember the bad part of my life. If I can do it then you reading this can too. Reach out to friends and family and take that first step. Dont suffer alone. Stay strong. One day at a time.

I’ve been watching your videos for around a year now and your videos have helped open my eyes to the natural beauty I’m missing out on. Especially living in London, if only Ontario was a drive away. As soon as is possible for me I’m going to go camping and bit by bit push myself to hopefully be as good as you. After watching for a year I would never have guessed that you struggled with alcohol and or drugs, which is brilliant when you think about it. Congratulations on two years sober, you’re In inspiration. Thank you for your amazing content.

Xander, you're an inspiration in more ways than one. Since the first time I've heard you open up about your history with drugs and alcohol, you have been at the forefront of my thoughts of people who have not only successfully rid themselves of their addiction problems, but also managed to turn their lives around afterwards. In my eyes, your youtube career is, at least in one sense, both a reflection and a documentation of that growth as a human being.
I have personally decided to follow down this path towards a life free of addiction as well - today marks a humble but resolute closing of my first 3 weeks sober. Here's to many more weeks to come, both for myself, for you, and to everyone else out there struggling with these issues.

Congratulations on the sobriety dude. Really amazing to hear. I love hearing you share about little snippets of it in your videos and encourage you to continue to share when it's appropriate and not hard to do so. Your story is important and helpful to many people living with addictions!

Congrats! on getting clean, Xander. It is quite the struggle. I got off "legal" drug Rx's 23 yrs ago. My lovely Dr's kept me "well behaved" for many years. I only have a fraction of understanding of your experience, but I do feel your struggle. Again CONGRATS!!!!

Great video, and especially the end, I hear you. It has been a difficult struggle at times. Thanks for the postive words about getting to the other side and being happily sober. I am very, very happy for you, and will take your advice.

What a great way to celebrate your 2 year mark! Fresh, falling snow always feels like a kind of cleansing...so appropriate for your wonderful accomplishment. Hats off and hugs to you. The coffee/cocoa bit had me busted up laughing.😁
