I wasn't sure about the wife's tile but it came out really nice.
I see why personal home renovations can cost more than a flip. My father flip houses and the flip cost about 80k for around 1500 sqft house and done right but with standard materials( no personal standout touches), but when we renovated his house it was like 170k because it was nicer materials and he said if I'm gonna do this I might as well do it exactly how he wanted otherwise they would be tempted to do it again.

They could have saved a lot of money if they'd used the existing cabinets and had them professionally painted white instead of replacing them. (I did this when I redid my kitchen.) New hardware would have updated the look. The cabinets were well-made with classic raised panel doors and Christina replaced them with cheaper (maybe) Shaker style cabinets. I hope they donated the original cabinets and didn't just smash them into pieces like Tarek always did.
The money they would have saved by using the original cabinets could possibly have freed up enough money to redo an upstairs bathroom.
I agree, I saved money with just changing the doors, painted and hardware.
They reconfigured the entire kitchen and added more cabinetry. Where would they find more Tuscan cabinets today? lol
Hmmm yes and no, unfortunately the previous pantry and cabinet can’t be refurbished without damages. I tried to do so thinking it could save money but it was a disaster, looked like old despite my efforts. When you want to change everything you need new fresh things strong enough to last a life long 😊

The range next to the pantry cabinet is a big NO for me, when you have a big pot or a skillet with a long handle those 2 burners are pretty much useless. Thank God they changed that part of the design

Technically illegal where I live. Anything on either side of the stove has to be counter height.

Was it a little odd that they kept referring to the main floor as the "downstairs"? The dude is funny. As soon as he mentioned the golf course, it all made sense.
Kristina should of went with a white flooring… because of the bold back flash. The customer pick for her kitchen the floor doesn’t match with the kitchen design…❤
I don't agree. There is already enough white in the space. The wood flooring brings needed warmth. If you only have black and white it becomes too cold. The floor color also ties in the brass accents and light fixtures. It's also a nightmare to keep white floors clean, not practical at all.

she was making basically all design choices in flip or flop...here she has clients who also have a say with how they want their home to look. I think it looks great and captured exactly what her client wanted
Christina does not look healthy she really has no color in your face at all.
Allways same colours, gray, black, white.. and same materials, this is not design just decorating advise.. Christina should learn something new and different ..

That tile is awful. Maybe one square of it as a trivet you can put away in the cupboard. Even then I wouldn't buy.
Christina, Just adore you, but truly that makeup is way toooo thick and unnatural.... Take it easy on the makeup please... It's an eyesore...and you are beautiful, you don't need a caked face ❤

She’s done the new country show to show off the new husband who seems like a good guy. Now in June 2013 HGTV is pushing “Christina/Pretentious on the Coast.” I’m so done with that fiasco show, but I might watch a few minutes of one episode to see if this season’s husband is a repeat or another new episode.
