Great detailed explanations. In some examples you dragged the Effects on top of the video track (# 2- 5, 7- 9, 13- 15) , while other Effects were dragged to a separate track (# 1, 6, 10- 12). Can it be done either way, and when would you choose one vs the other?

the effects puts on the video themself will apply only on that video, notice that not every effect can be applied directly but must be applied on top of the timeline separately
