I've lived in Lansing all my life, I'm 39yrs old, Lansing's Downtown is strictly business and corporate as opposed to other cities where Downtown is the hub of "fun", I'd suggest going to Old Town, pretty much any afternoon or after 6pm on the weekends, totally different vibe or drive the 10min down Michigan Ave to East Lansing, it can get wild out there at nights and weekends.
If you're ever back in Lansing the best things in my opinion are the river trail, and the museums. Only other things to do are eat and drink. There's about 8 or so bars walking distance from lug nuts stadium. That gets pretty live on weekend evenings.
The GPS Was being rude!! Come one we’re trying to get a video done here!!!… 😂😂😂 Great video my friend!! vlogs are awesome to learn and see new Lifestyles and New places ect…!! 💪💪📹✅
I Lived in lansing for one summer and one winter visiting my gf going to law school there. We are both from LA so lansing made us totally appreciate LA so much more 💙🙌
HAHAHA Garminta (my family's name for the GPS female voice) interrupting you is every vlogger's shared frustration XD Great job on the blurring - I know it's hard work and i see your effort!! Vlogs may be dead but they're definitely a good vibe :D
I’ve watched a few Ryan Trahan videos, and love his editor’s style. So, I left it in. I use FCP, and the blur sometimes overtakes the scene. So, I tried a different setting on it to clean it up. I’m glad it was cool and cloudy. I wanted to do something with no preparation.
@@AdventureGearTV I loved the vibes of this video!! (which i suppose, to put it into comprehensible technical terms...) The tweaks to editing you've made make a noticeably positive impact on the video. So cool to see you trying new things. I just finished recording the VO for a new video to hopefully break through perfectionism paralysis, and watching this video was really great to pump me up for editing! :D
@@neurodivergentlily we’re out here patiently waiting. You should film a three act Vlog this week for ND Lily Spam, if you’ve got the time. No prep, you pop out the camera and do it.
@@neurodivergentlily two important clips were out of focus in this one, but I left them in anyway. I recently watched a video talking about how we’re our own worst enemy when it comes to filming, editing, and progress. So, don’t the perfect be the enemy of good enough!
I plan to visit both. I was in Grand Rapids last week, but need to get back to explore. Someone else just mentioned the Meijer Gardens. They said it’s perfect to see.
Hey! I'm just south of Lansing!! A couple of hours north is Traverse city, Cherboygan, Mackinaw and Sault Ste. Marie. I was up there last week, Real cool temps up there!

I got that vibe. Old Town comes up quite a bit, so I’ll spin through there in the next few days to see what it’s all about.

I appreciate it. I haven’t had much luck with these kinds of videos, but they are fun to make. That’s what matters most.

Nice! I’ll expand my radius and head somewhere new soon.
Maybe vlogs are dead in some topics, but I see lots of that style of video in the vanlife world. I enjoy them! Thanks for sharing!
That makes sense. It’s a fun way to make a video.
Beaches in west Michigan are fantastic.....Holland, Muskegon, grand haven, Ludington, sleeping bear dunes.....all terrific
I have heard that a few times. I will certainly get to the west coast and check it out.
The Capitol in Lansing was finished in 1879, not 1897.

You’re so close to Detroit, you should go see it while you’re there. Although, Grand Rapid might be a little calmer.

Just turn on the heat in the van and then you can do the AC review lol.. and that had a real "I Am Legand" vibe.. where'd everyone go?
It was eerily empty there.

Awesome! I wrote a comment about meeting up if you’re interested. You can reach me by email, or my Facebook page. The weather is perfect here!

Awesome video! You might want to check out Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids. That place is tailor made for videos.
I briefly visited Grand Rapids last week, and plan to make my way back west to spend some more time there. Thanks for the tip!
Loved Lansing! Thanks
Perfect! Thanks for watching!
There’s plenty of camping in the area. Visit the Yankee Springs campground, and if you head north the Picture Rocks shore.
You’re not the first person to mention Picture Rocks. I have the America the Beautiful pass, so I’ll check it out soon.
Good video. Thank you for what you do.
Thank you!
Every since GM pulled out, Lansing turned into a ghost town.
Let’s goooooooo
Yo!
Go to Olds Transportation Museum 🚌🚑🚗🏎️🚔
That’s an excellent tip. I’ve noticed that this is GM and Ford country.
🤗💖💖💖💖💖
Nice! Thank you!
Hey, why don't you check out the science museum, or odd rides..
Hey! There’s a few museums in the area I’ll try to get to.
Hey its you again
So cool. Where else have you seen me?
Go to the Silver Lake sand dunes.
I haven’t made it there yet, but I went around the UP and it was a lot of fun: ruclips.net/video/BYzMB0cR3IQ/видео.htmlsi=qL2-_35WHQVkldLV
Youre right down the street from the Lansing Lugnuts stadium. Go catch a game..
Ghost town
It reminded me of the first episode of the walking dead. Rick Grimes goes into Atlanta, and nobody’s there.
