To me its like the realization or discovery that makes the main character gag in horror and clench their stomach and cover their mouth as they try to calm the burning flame of fear inside them of what exactly the antagonist is, in this case, maybe the origin of the zombies, or maybe that they’ve lost close loved ones and they are running through a forest in desperation to find anything besides their fate.
This song always makes me think of that episode of love death and robots where the Russians fight to the last against a horde of monsters, even though it wasn't used there. I wish it was.
