When the COVID pandemic started and the streets were empty I remember venturing myself around listening to this and the vibe was so legit. This song is the song of the apocalypse. To me it'll always be.
"Corrosion" then "Grace" (Last 2 tracks next together) by Ministry on their Psalm 69 album....That's the song of the apocalypse, I put it on repeat every Halloween and it terrifies 90% of the people who come to the door...hhahhahhahahaa
This just reminds me of Mason getting shot in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and it makes me sad, but also gives me the sudden realization that all good things come to an end eventually
It played in 28 Days Later during Jim's rampage to save Selena & Hannah from those f*cked up military dudes, it played during the suspenseful chilling opening sequence of 28 Weeks Later during the scene where Don runs from the infected leaving his family behind to escape. So now, i think there might be a possibility this theme will make a return in the upcoming film.
This song manages to represent the heart of a student/worker very well, when it is his turn to present something when his saber is turned on against his will.
The fact this music starts of calm and progressively gets more intense truly reflects the nature of the infected. They were inflicted with the “rage virus” which makes them berserk. And it also gets progressively overwhelming to show the people’s lack of control in their reality now
@@TheONLYFeli0 finally someone actually said it. That is quite literally the whole point of Playing it in the end when even the girl confused him for infected cause he was filled with rage. He was still a human but with rage far scarier than those infected with rage itself
this song is just 'we found a pretty cool riff, let's repeat it over and over but adding more instruments and louder, angrier guitars' and y'know what that's completely fine because it's great
It builds tension very effectively, which is the whole point of it. Beautiful and haunting piece of music - when I feel like listening to this, once is not enough.
@@harmlesstherobot7181 извините, не знал об этом. Просто, хоть и живу в России, очень близка воспринимаю то, как в моей стране происходит привыкание и нормализация войны. Удачи вам!
This reminds me of the final campaign mission of Halo: Reach. It has that bleak, solem vibe the mission has,as you make your last stand against the onslaught of The Covenant before eventually being overwhelmed but if you're going down, you'll go down fighting and take as many of them as you can with you.
Noble Six sacrificed himself to allow The Pillar of Autum to leave. Esentially dooming himself but allowing Chief and Cortana to escape and go onto save the galaxy.
In the game final station you have to run home to who I was guessing a daughter and yeah you run to you daughters house and the further you go the more you realize all the people around you are maybe dead then you make it there it's starts of slow then you read a note and it's a drawing for you and you go to the living room and succumb to the illness and get you brains blown out
It’s probably a bit too energetic for that particular mission but I get what you mean. The last mission always elicited a feeling of acceptance in my mind. You were on your own, out of energy, out of ammo, out of time. That was what made it so hopelessly bleak. But despite that you pressed on till your last breath, knowing it was hopeless, but taking as many covenant soldiers down with you as you could. You accepted your inevitable death, but you wouldn’t go down easily.
"A song that gives every person the same feeling with different chords is a masterpiece, but a song that gives everyone a different feeling with the same chord is something a masterpiece could only dream of achieving."
This song boils down to "The zombies are coming, we are all doomed, and that realisation of how much danger we are in is just dawning on us. My God....."
Rulipdh eu ririeiebr r thei d Fbi and I have a very good understanding on how the universe is created in a vacuum of time so that the energy is transferred from one place into the universe at the speed it would be absorbed into another dimension in a matter that would have to travel through space and then the other place in a matter which is not in the same place in time to travel to another place of the same time and the universe would have a different energy than it would have a very similar mass of different dimensions in different directions but in the opposite place it is in different directions so that the universe would have the opposite direction and it is not the opposite direction of light and it would have to travel the universe would be different.
The first time you were able and you had to do something about the situation you had with your family you would be able and I was going through it I would have been very upset 😭 and then you had me upset because you didn’t want to be there and I didn’t want to do anything to help you🤩🤩🤩🤩
Its amazing because this song is supposed to represent the life cycle of an epidemic. That part is when it reaches the tipping point where things get 100x worse in an INSTANT and theres no turning back.
Even though I think 28 Weeks Later REALLY dropped the ball in comparison to 28DL, I do really love the way this theme was used in both films. You have Jim's rampage, the act of brutality that blurs the line between heroism and derangement, almost contrasted beat for beat by Don's cowardly yet realistic and human abandoning of his wife. I really wish they spent more time with the quiet dread and complications of living in a post-zombie world. You don't often see media that acknowledges that the new normal that follows an apocalypse might be very familiar.
I thought they were going to make a 28 month later movie because of the ending of 28 weeks later when they are in Paris. Idk tho 1 month later I'm surprised people are still watching this movie
How was don coward from abondoning his wife? He literally had no choice, the house were full of infected runners & they are contagious, Even if he brings her wife it would slow him down & they would die together as those infected has 0 stamina that would chase you untill death. They aren't like the walking dead zombies
@@inaworld161 Just because it was reasonable doesn't mean it wasn't cowardly, nor is it inherently bad to be a coward. Cowardice keeps people alive in the real world. You'll notice one thing about all the real-world legends and heroes you've heard about: most of them are dead. I suppose you can make an argument for the negative connotation of the word, sure, but that's also from an era where people used words like "honor" to lure people to their deaths, so, y'know. Nothing wrong with quitting while you're ahead imho.
For me this track gives an entire fountain of hopelessness and despair feelings, and all of this because of the movie. Zombie apocalipse worlds usually gives me a horror that you must run forever until you've get completely overwhelmed and cannot run even more, and this is really frightening, because you know that someday you will get overwhelmed. After that thoughts it feels like there is no escape from all the time running and screaming death... This is why i get such a horrific emotions while listening to this.

They loved this npc but i wanted to give them a good ending, so they closed the door and locked it. I described as their friend rushed forward slicing down one after the other but they kept pushing her closer to the door, i described as they could here her screaming for them to run. The though was this was gonna be a part where they have to run to gegt out of the sunken city. The song conveintly ended once everyone was on the boat. But describing as zombies thrashed towards them into the water and having one of my players hanging from the boat and being pulled into the water before finally escaping was one of the best times playing dnd

this song gives the vibe of a heart wrenching intense situation, like an incredibly sad climax. it has the same feeling as when you shoot mason in black ops 2 and the main theme starts playing, right at the climax of the song.
Every time I heard this song the only thing that come to my mind is that short story written by Fredric Brown " The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door ."
I'm haunted by my own presence, every single moment I've ever lived remind of how I've never been happy in my entire life... Wherever I be, becomes Godless, Whatever I touch, becomes bleak I feel the touch of the noose around my neck every time I close my eyes.. I see me hanging... Everytime before I sleep, I pray to God.. "Please dont let me wake up ever again"
Man this feels like being in a dream and not being able to run. Like you have to hurry for your life but its futile. Like everything is lost and fucked.

This soundtrack reminds you to run in despair while everyone were already abandoned their hopes
this song gives the vibe of a heart wrenching intense situation, like an incredibly sad climax. it has the same feeling as when you shoot mason in black ops 2 and the main theme starts playing, right at the climax of the song.
This song doesn't just make me feel anger but and anguish for a little violence
Finally, people are back after they drop the first trailer for the new 28 years later lol
Every time I heard this song the only thing that come to my mind is that short story written by Fredric Brown " The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door ."
I played this at my sons 6th birthday party at chuck e cheese. It was well received
the iconic sountrack of 28 LATER SERIES
An incredible song and the movies where it appears are also incredible...
Am I the only one who has heard this song a million times but never watched 28 days?
Dude watch the movie Jesus lmao. Its not even that scary.
@@LonewolfWRX I'm not worried about being scared lol, I'm just lazy
Mooney//Magic lol just watch the movie
You're missing out big time.
@@OutlawMantis bro fr? what’s it about?
I knew this song was familiar! The nostalgia hits hard
anyone here in 2025?
Nope. Living 3025.
Yup me and I'm excited to see where this theme is placed in 28 years later
This song makes you feel like a descent into madness, or a loss of hope
the constant and gradual caos add soooo much to the song, it gives it the power to give us power
this is why i love post rock so much
"Listen friend I know the world is quite scary right now but..."
**Growling in the distance**
**Picks up AK-12**
"It's Gonna Get way *worse"*
I mean; at least it isn't The Flood?
@@PelinalDidNothingWrong if it was The Zombies from TF2 or CS:GO Zombie escape I would shit my pants run shoot try not to shit my pants and run
Anyone else get the wierdys when someone does this style of writing. Like a phrase you dislike. . . Every nook and cranny . . . Ewww
@@wotintheworld then just ignore it it ain't that hard tbh :/
Don't you even dare Remind me of what happened back in Stalker 3 years Ago Heavy
when your boss texts you "Come to my office, please"
John Murphy blew this out of the park. Most iconic horror film song in my opinion.
This song perfectly encapsulates the phrase and feelings of “we’re not alone out here”
I love this song, doesn't give me fear, gives me the urge of brutality.
@ I was about to say
LOL
Mans about to commit a Roblox genocide

This song really goes along well with what's happening in the states right now
Can't believe that this master peace was made 10 years ago
masterpiece*
This was in Kickass to funny enough
22 actually, pretty cool.
Actually it was made 21 years ago released in (2003)
Lot longer than that my dude.
From years to years...
IT STILL A BANGER!!!🗣️🗣️🗣️
I'm haunted by my own presence, every single moment I've ever lived remind of how I've never been happy in my entire life...
Wherever I be, becomes Godless,
Whatever I touch, becomes bleak
I feel the touch of the noose around my neck every time I close my eyes..
I see me hanging...
Everytime before I sleep, I pray to God.. "Please dont let me wake up ever again"
Even if this song was released 10 years ago it sounds better than other modern musics
Exactly
@@Dark_knight1625it wasn't released 10 years ago, it's way older than that
You got the worst ending in the game and now you see how every character you loved is dying by main villain:
Man this feels like being in a dream and not being able to run. Like you have to hurry for your life but its futile. Like everything is lost and fucked.
28 years later better include this iconic masterpiece 🔥
The fact I’ve been looking for this song for a whole decade and finally found it.
Hopefully this comes back in 28 Year's Later
the two notes repeating are like rage building which are then inverted at the end to represent hope.
