Mitch was and still is, possibly the most under rated comics of our generation. He brought one liners to the younger generation. I mean there was Stephen Wright, and he's a legend, but Mitch put his own into it. He knew when shit was funny and he'd laugh at his own jokes. He was a comedy genius. Rsst In Peace Mr. Hedberg. Very few people have made me laugh the way you did. 🤘
I was doing stand up in the late 80s & early 90s. Met him on the road & got to know him. He's in my top 10 best comics list. There's a documentary out there about him & not only smart, funny but a real cool bro. Plz watch more! Thank you
It's sad that his career was so short. I feel like we got gipped out of decades of laughs. I still keep coming back to Mitch and reactions to him and they still make me LoL even though I've heard them all dozens of times. He was that good and genuine and insightful.
Mitch.. was a cool cat..respected within the industry.. BUT!! i don't care what anyone says.. seeing & hearing you.. makes it all even better!! Beautiful with a great sense of humor and stellar personality.. at least through the lens 😀
Yes Steven Wright. But there is another guy he went by "elmo"... somthing.. but elmo for sure. I think you can find some set if you search the Just For Laughs comedy festival out of Montreal. The joke about his grandfather's last words kills me everytime
Seeing him live was a workout. I was sore the next day from laughing because he moves so fast and basically everything he says is a joke. It's also impossible to take a drink. He actually said you guys need a 20 second drink break, but everyone laughed of course and he was like ok I guess not and kept going. The frozen banana, and escalator jokes are my favorites. The escalator joke has to be one of the best one liners ever, it's only 10 words and gets a huge laugh cause it's so true and so dumb. He elaborates with a few more lines but the opener is enough.
The guy was a genius. Sadly he didn't live long enough to reap the profits from his art. Good we have these short moments on film as mementos from his genius, as awkward as they may be. Thanks for sharing these moments with us, Shea.
Absolutely true. But that stoner side of him lead to his ultimate downfall. But he is a legend for a reason. I was fortunate to see his act live many times.
My dear, We need a good laugh each and ever day. I have a theory about our nation, We as a country need to laugh more... Mitch's movement and nervous energy just adds to the show. The man was a stud of a performer. VERY funny...
I'm so glad you are doing Mitch Hedberg, anything from him is good, you can't go wrong. Even when he thinks he messed up it's brilliant. Wish he got off drugs though, RIP...Love you Mitch
"I like escalators, because an escalator can never break. It can only become stairs. You will never see an escalator out of order sign. Only escalator temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience!" -Mitch Hedberg. Miss you man R.I.P.
Gary Gulman has some really solod stuff. He did a set on Conan called "how the states got their abbreviations", its pretty hilarious and he also did a special talking about his depression and how he dealt with it.
Mitch Hedberg - 5 minutes special - ruclips.net/video/IueXtzdC6kA/видео.html Mitch is a legend but some his appearances are better than others, I always felt that this one his top notch from him. Great reaction tho!
I love the way you express your feelings on small things like you loved his hair on another video or how silly Mitch is you just loved him.. You look pure and honnest girl plus that beautifull smile you have makes you look.. kinda gorgious!.. Im just saying it ''Mitch Hedberg 2001 stand up'' is for me the best one at his prime time as a commedian.. Just shooting the crowd with jokes one after another without pauses in bethween like like 50jokes for 4-5 min its the best one and i don't understand those who reccomended MItch Hedberg to you didn't mentioned this one specificly.. Its called Mitch Hedberg 2001 Stand up you wont regret it..
Mitch was very shy and awkward. That is why he kept his bangs long and wore sunglasses. It is so sad that could never handle his fame. Another comedian gone way to soon, that other comedians are still copying is Bill Hicks. Check him out, he is one of the most brilliant comedians I have ever seen.
At 6:10...you say you adore him? What other barriers to an entrance do you him? Do you agate him? What about ahatch him? How about adrawbridge? Do you like him enough to make an illustration of a bridge? (-read in Mitch Hedberg voice for full effect)
There's a few really good comedians that do one-liners. Steven Wright, Demetri Martin, Rodney Dangerfield, all worth checking out. Just put in their names and hit "random", you'll find gold.
Ever notice how an escalator can never be out of order? Temporarily stairs. Sorry for the convenience. Ever notice how an oscillating fan always looks like it's saying no? So I like to ask it yes or no questions. Do you keep my hair neat? No. Do you keep my documents in order? No. Do you have three settings? No. LIAR!
If you want to know more about mitch look up Doug Stanhope. They were friends until Mitch died, Doug even has a video of those two kissing made by mitch before video editing.
Mitch had crippling stage fright and and almost quit comedy many times, thankfully not. That is the main reason why he always looks down, has tinted glasses, and always had his hair in his face. He was also a heroin addict which sadly took his life WAY too soon. Ask any comedian of the last 20 years and I guarantee that they put Mitch in their top 10 all time.
"They say 7up is lemon and lime but I tried to make it at home, there's more to it than that."
I used to love mitch hedberg.
I still do, but I used to too.
I see what you did there and I appreciate it
Nicely done and agreed 100% =)
Mitch was the comedian that other comedians went to see when they wanted to laugh.
"Rice is great if you're really hungry and want 2,000 of something."
Mitch was and still is, possibly the most under rated comics of our generation. He brought one liners to the younger generation. I loved Mitch’s stand up. He was freaking hilarious. We always lose many of the funniest comedians way too soon. Love the glasses btw.
It's the same with musicians there inspired by their own pain and usually turn to drugs. So unfortunate. RIP.
Definitely! Steven Wright is sometimes called king of one-liners. Also Rodney Dangerfield
"I got me an ant farm...those fuckers didn't grow shit!"
His shaking hands break my heart.💔
This is gifted! Doing this is rehearsal after rehearsal... plus personality!
It's not the joke that's funny, it's the way he delivers the punch line that's funny
His hippopotamus joke is one of my favorites😂😂 RIP Mitch you legend 🔥
I loved mitch so much growing up and I've never seen anybody react to his stuff. This is my new favorite content
The other day I saw a wino eating grapes- I said dude, you have to wait. - Mitch Hedberg
Oh man, I never expected to see a Mitch Hedberg reaction!
Mitch was a comedic genius. RIP Mitch
I was doing stand up in the late 80s & early 90s. Met him on the road & got to know him. He's in my top 10 best comics list. There's a documentary out there about him & not only smart, funny but a real cool bro. Plz watch more! Thank you
He's the master at using words in ways that none of us could ever think of.
Mitch was the man!
He's a legend...RIP. Among his peers, he was one of the greats. No one does comedy like he does/did. The donut joke was a classic lol
I used to do drugs. I still do, but I “used to” too. 😂 RIP Mitch
It's sad that his career was so short. I feel like we got gipped out of decades of laughs. I still keep coming back to Mitch and reactions to him and they still make me LoL even though I've heard them all dozens of times. He was that good and genuine and insightful.
😄
How much better is life when you have Mitch in it!✨
Soo glad you’ve discovered him🙏🏼✌🏻
Mitch.. was a cool cat..respected within the industry.. BUT!! i don't care what anyone says.. seeing & hearing you.. makes it all even better!! Beautiful with a great sense of humor and stellar personality.. at least through the lens 😀
Yay, more Mitch!
I used the belt/belt loops joke on my roommate yesterday. 😄
Another good one liner comedian is Steven Wright.
Yes Steven Wright. But there is another guy he went by "elmo"... somthing.. but elmo for sure. I think you can find some set if you search the Just For Laughs comedy festival out of Montreal. The joke about his grandfather's last words kills me everytime
Emo Philips?
@@alexmarkadonis7179 that's it! OK so maybe not elmo for sure lol
One of the greats! RIP Mitch.
You have to check out his first appearance on David Letterman😂🤣
I like the way Shea uses her name in phrases like a hair salon or a pho restaurant.
Seeing him live was a workout. I was sore the next day from laughing because he moves so fast and basically everything he says is a joke. It's also impossible to take a drink. His lovable stoner persona is key. If any other comic went on stage and did the exact same material with a different delivery, they would likely flop.
Absolutely true. But that stoner side of him lead to his ultimate downfall. But he is a legend for a reason. I was fortunate to see his act live many times.
Dude was one of the GOATs ever. So freaking funny.
Thank you again for an amazing reaction! His Bigfoot is a great one
He has a Rodney Dangerfield style but more absurd imo. So cool.
My dear, We need a good laugh each and ever day. I have a theory about our nation, We as a country need to laugh more... Mitch's movement and nervous energy just adds to the show. The man was a stud of a performer. VERY funny...
Mitch is 🤘. 1 of the best ever
Just for laughs 2001 with Mitch is my favorite on youtube.
Hedberg is nothing short of miraculous. You’re right to love him!
Miss you man R.I.P.
i'm laughing at you laughing at him laughing at himself lol i dig your channel, definitely subbing
You should hear his CDs. They're amazing. And on youtube. So is his Comedy Central stand up special.
He's really all over the place with his jokes, so random. But in a good way
Always love your vibes and the way you enjoy a good laugh when things might not be the best 🤘
Gary Gulman has some really solod stuff. He did a set on Conan called "how the states got their abbreviations", its pretty hilarious and he also did a special talking about his depression and how he dealt with it.
Oh yeah Gaz!!! Anything off ‘Conversations with Inanimate Objects’ is total gold too
A dad joke artist lol... loved it.
"I went to see the doctor, all he did was suck my blood. Never go to Dr. Acula!"
Wow 🤣🤣 FUNNY!!!! A shame he has passed. He gave a different twist to bad dad jokes. Great reaction. God Bless ✌️❤️
Pretty solid response. Maybe I should watch more.
Such a dork.. love it! He's like a more awkward Stephen Wright..
Looking beautiful as always! Love your new hair color
I love how it takes the audience a second to get the joke, lol. Mitch Fatel I'd funny too.
Woohoo. More Mitch!
Mitch Hedberg - 5 minutes special - ruclips.net/video/IueXtzdC6kA/видео.html
Mitch is a legend but some his appearances are better than others, I always felt that this one his top notch from him. Great reaction tho!
You should give Steven Wright a shot. Another master of one-liners.
Conan - “ThAt WaS hIlArIoUs ThAnK yOu”
I love Mitch. Watch Steven Wright. He's a slower paced, monotone Mitch. Very funny one liners.
Broke my heart when he died.
One benefit of becoming a fan years after his death, I guess. You're spared from mourning.
I was wondering if you ever saw/heard Steven Wright, and boom - there's a suggested video right there, so off I go!
You should check out "Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Mitch Hedberg". It's a little story of his life and death. I think it's around 12 minutes long.
Mitch is the best.
Robin Williams, no relation. Best ever.
Carlie gets Mitch right away! She has a great channel too...
I love the way you express your feelings on small things like you loved his hair on another video or how silly Mitch is you just loved him.. You look pure and honnest girl plus that beautifull smile you have makes you look.. kinda gorgious!.. Im just saying it

So funny 🤣
Ya need to check out Drew Lynch!! He's my favorite. Going to see him live for the 3rd time in November
He's funny. :)
Agreed. His turtle joke is incredible.
Really liking the new look. It suites you. Have a good week.
He and Steven Wright were masters of offbeat, dry humor.
You should watch his 2001 standup video from WatchMojo, super funny! You should also check out Sebastian Maniscalco, he is also super funny.
Greatness 🤣🙏🏻
I saw him live in Madison, WI with Stephen Lynch. Both amazing
He wears sunglasses on stage because he suffered from extreme stage fright. Makes sense now
Mitch was very shy and awkward. That is why he kept his bangs long and wore sunglasses. It is so sad that could never handle his fame.
Another comedian gone way to soon, that other comedians are still copying is Bill Hicks. Check him out, he is one of the most brilliant comedians I have ever seen.
If you like Mitch, try Steven Wright. He’s also a dry humor one liner comedian, but with a very different delivery.
Much sharper, IMO
Jim Gaffigan is another one that’s really different.
RIP MITCH.
another great comedian is john pinette love the vid
you are so gorgeous Carlie Shea. Have a blessed life.
Great reaction!!! Other good comedians I recommend are Maria Bamford, Jim Gaffigan, and Triumph The Insult Comic Dog.
Lol. The really old Triumph stuff is the best! Like the Star Wars convention, Bon Jovi concert, and American Idol tryouts. So funny!
Mitch was great! If you like one liners, try Steven Wright as well.
Your smile so cute ❤
Do more Hedberg please :)
If you like one liners, check out Steven Wright. Example: I tried to commit suicide by hanging myself with a bungie cord... I kept almost dying🤣
At 6:10...you say you adore him?
What other barriers to an entrance do you him? Do you agate him? What about ahatch him? How about adrawbridge?
Do you like him enough to make an illustration of a bridge?
(-read in Mitch Hedberg voice for full effect)
i forgot the exact name of the video but they have a best of mitch hedberg
If you like 1 liners look up Rodney Dangerfield, especially some of his younger day standup
There's a few really good comedians that do one-liners. Steven Wright, Demetri Martin, Rodney Dangerfield, all worth checking out. Just put in their names and hit "random", you'll find gold.
I got an ant farm. Them fellas didn't grow shit!
OH you got me ! when you said I love you and God loves you . Click Subscribe 😀 and if you love Mitch WELL you must be smart ❤
I used to do drugs.
I still do.
But I used to too.
(best logic ever)
RIP Mitch
That's funny 🤣🤣. You should check out Jay Larson prank call. It's a story format. Very funny 🤣👍👍
Mitch was great. RIP to an amazing talent. You should check out Anthony Jeselnik. Nothing like him.
No. LIAR!
Wish he could have stayed off the drugs, maybe he'd still be around. A real "comedian's comedian" 🍻
If you want to know more about mitch look up Doug Stanhope. They were friends until Mitch died, Doug even has a video of those two kissing made by mitch before video editing.
If you haven’t seen Steven Wright… he’s a good one liner guy.
What about Norm Macdonald? He is another late great comedian. Anything from him is funny
Shane Gillis is a hilarious stand up comedian. His Austin set is already a classic. Rip mitch 🙏
Steven Wright is the same way you will love him as well
If you are a fan of one liners, check out Steven Wright. Same type of humor but told with a very monotonous deadpan voice. You'll love him too.
