I don't watch women football very often. I occasionnaly watch some videos on RUclips. While I truely admire them for their attacking skills (some shots I saw were better than some man strikers), I have to say that they suck at defending... I mean look at these 4 goals, the Australian defense is NOWHERE. I don't know if it's their individual talent that is wicked or if it's the coaching. But something is wrong with this defense. GK never should have went out like that on the first goal, unless you are absolutely sure you get it. Which apparently wasn't the case. Still I'm amazed by the great shots

I was just trying to point out the fact that a pure french ethnic identity doesn't make any sense since France has been influenced by many cultures and identities throughout its history (as you explained even though you completely forgot the fact that Celts or more precisely Gauls were conquered by Caesar and that during four centuries what became France was heavily colonized by the latins that mixed with the Celts). If a person comes from Normandy, it is plausible that this person has indeed scandinavian origins and that someone who comes from Alsace (North-East of France) has germanic origins. So which one is the most "ethnic french" person ?
You see, french identity doesn't come from your origin or your family background, it comes from the fact that you recognized yourself as a citizen of the French Republic. Stop talking about french "ethnic" girl, my man ! It reeks of racism ! Just sayin' ! :)
