Why on some you backup and others you just program a new key? Both Toyotas, you have videos of you not backing up and just straight programming a new key. I am a new KM100 user and get very confused on how it can vary so much within the same car make. Do you offer a paid course on the KM100?

I have a question I have a autel km100 and wanted to program a second key for my 2021 Toyota Avalon as I lost one and bought an oem key it won’t program when I tells me to put the new key up to the push start and it’ll beep twice it doesn’t and fail I did everything right I backed up the eprom

Check the code on the board of the key make sure it matches your other key

@@tromponist problem is I even went to the dealer and ordered a key based on the vin of my car and part number even that key couldn’t be programmed had to be returned and charged me a fee I tried may used oem keys that are unlocked same thing as even the key fob I got from the dealer the board number had one number off I can’t find one that’s the same as mine

It’s Autel universal key .you can generate them with km100

Check the key some vehicles if the key programmed to is not original key it won't work well. Is it a universal key?
