Thanks for the compliment. None of us want to give away information to the end user. In my opinion, end users are not a threat in any way. We (professionals) need to share information so consumers trust us as a viable alternative to the dealer.

Might you show some videos in the future doing BMWs with the Autel. They get involved and I'm trying to step into working with them but I hear mixed results when using the OBD shortcut vs removing the Immobilizer module every time and soldering to it. I appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

Do you have to use the 30 pin on the 2022 Toyota Highlander? I haven't done a 2022 Highlander yet but I have an appointment with a customer to do this afternoon and as far as I have read you have to back up the MMO data i'm not sure if you need to use the cable. I haven't read anywhere that included the Highlander with the cable but I may be missing some information somewhere.
30 Pin is for the newest generation Toyota models. Highlander is on the older system. I'm pretty sure I've done 2022 models but needed to use Techstream for 2023.

The instructions on the scanner is showing that you connected to the diagnostic port not to the G-Box is the G-Box going to be involved if I don't have the 30-pin obdstar connector?

All of these cars from Toyota are only coming with one key. There's unlimited demand for new Toyota keys. Just imagine if you spent 50K+ and the dealer only gave you one key!

It's not necessary. Check out my other videos. It can be done with g-box or the home made break out cable I used on the BZ4X.

Would the apb112 work instead of 30 pin connector
No sir, the apb needs immo data to generate the simulated key. Immo data is aquired by using the 30 pin adapter.

You can. If your using a T-harness style adapter, there's no need to.

You can use G box. Just provide it power and ground and route the can h/l over to the pink and white twisted pair in the plus behind the glove box.

and Autel itself cannot read through obd? My Toyota Rav 4 showed the version: 8999042450000201 and was not read either through obd or g-box
