Officials commend officers involved in shooting at Music Hall

On Friday, Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge and other city officials held a press conference about the shooting, which happened just outside a busy Music Hall minutes before an opera performance was scheduled to begin inside.

He was convicted of felonious assault and two counts of domestic violence in a 1996 case, according to court documents. Mack was sentenced to a little more than a year and a half in prison.
He was later accused of aggravated menacing in 2016, but that was dismissed, court records show.
In 2023, records show Mack was arrested for assault after he was accused of hitting a woman in the face, but that case was also dismissed.
An April 2024 assault was also dismissed.
