To be fair they didn't have 20+ cops on duty. I counted like 6-8 that responded. Anything less than 12 and CG will wipe them all out. It's when they have to go up against 20+ cops that they lose.
Have to respect the cops under Baas for not breaking SOP just to get the win. If we want more shootouts like this we need to show these cops some love instead of making fun of them for taking an L.

What’s funny is from Randy’s POV the whole orange tape was still there when they were shooting each other and then when baas died the other half of it was still there and didn’t disappear completely like it did for him, it’s crazy how different POV’s see diff objects but I agree either way whether it was there or not he still would have been smoked

@Inksday Which is stupid since it's actually not RP that makes that whole scenario unfair, it's that whether or not the cop lays down for hours, he still gets to get up, take a bunch of free guns from the locker, and drive a free mustang around all day. Cops are built and designed to be default win roles that don't have to invest time, money, or energy into the role to be fairly successful at it. Their only job is to be the resisting force for the criminals to create a skill minimum, and to also give it a challenge that just can't be programmed into the server. Essentially, their mandatory job ends when they arrest the guys. He can sentence them for 10% of what he was supposed to charge, and he STILL did his job since he prevented the crime from occurring, therefore acting as a barrier from it occurring. As a criminal, they then make a better plan to get away with it. Arresting the criminals isn't suddenly a fucking dessert buffet where you then try to see how long you can legitimately sentence them without being sent to court.
I feel like some people don't have the ability to analyze shit like that. Like how much energy can asking "What is a cops role within a roleplay community?"? I bet not very much.

Good shootout. When CG use some of their best shooters (which is rare), they´re difficult to deal with, unless you´re like 15+ cops. Nice attempt by the PD though, trying to push.

What happened to Baas? I saw him dead and Randy kicking his dead body. Fast forward 5 minutes, he was playing Rdr2 RP.
He didn't want to be down for so long so he used local ems and went into the icu. Honestly kinda shitty since if crims went down they would've had to stay dead for 2+ hours.
@@laxjoel3857 Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Crims have to be locked out of their progression for 2-3 hours when they get caught by the police but the cops can just f8 quit whenever they want.
He got robbed so at that point they're free to leave, a lot cops F8 right away, but generally unless you've been robbed or dropped your stuff on the ground you're not supposed to leave. Obviously a lot of cop ignore this, but baas was actually robbed, so for the crim side of things the cop already lost everything and baas would have been revived in ten minutes so there wasn't a massive loss of time avoided as he died last I believe.

Not much can happen either way, he when down last and would have only had to wait for maybe ten minutes at the most. It's not like he went down right away and F8'ed with everything on him and he asked Taco if they were fine with it and he said yes, so no one there cared.
Even then the server and CG/crims have been very clear:
Leaving after being robbed = not a big deal
Leaving after being robbed and the event is basically over = no issues
Leaving after being robbed and the event is basically over and with permission = RP goog
Leaving during active event with everything on you = scummy

There honestly needs to be a time punishment for cops, like there is for crims, for going into gun fights. Something like "desk duty". Where if a cop went down during a gunfight, they have to spend 50% of whatever prison time a crim gets. Sitting in MRPD rather than instantly going back on patrol.
Im not saying this should be the case, if a cop randomly gets gunned down, like in a traffic stop. Its more so for bigger things like bank jobs or ambushes. Or if cops shoot and disable a car, but then crims gun them all down. Something like that.

Flippy taco and curtis were always great fourths. It’s just they do their own thing in their own little crew like ramee randy and k do, which isn’t a bad thing tbh. I think taco wasn’t on as many hours or days at one point in time.

I'd love if NP added a thing where you can only be a cop for like 6 months IRL time. Refresh the PD every 6 months, if you want back in; do the entire cadet process again.
