    One of the things I have also found from various sources, is that because the potency can widely range from cap to cap, when you make a tea, use smaller pieces from multiple caps to average out your dose.

      That's a great tip! The potency of Amanita muscaria can indeed vary significantly from cap to cap. Using smaller pieces from multiple caps when making tea is a smart way to average out the dose and achieve more consistent effects. Thank you for sharing this valuable advice!

    It is important to know that the above mentioned tea does not keep for long, even in the fridge. It is much like a meat broth and should be consumed rapidly. An old tea, say two weeks or more can make you pretty sick as my wife and I have found out with much discomfort. Adding alcohol to it will increase the conservation time but a fresh dose of tea is best. Thank you for the video. 🙏🏼

    In the vid he even mentions that A. Muscaria can be found with a white cap. If you aren't familiar with Amanita Muscaria's close relative Amanita Phalloides aka the death cap, then please don't pick any mushroom at all. The death cap is the most common cause of mushroom related death. The mistake of careless can cost you your life. I'm no mycologist and I can't say for sure if he's right, but please educate yourself thoroughly first.

      @SirDydimus86 Год назад

      @@Sociable_Graces and that is why this video, or any other amanita video, should not be taken at face value.
      Anyone attempting this should either have years of knowledge and experience behind them, possibly with an experienced mushroom hunter, OR source them from a reliable vendor. And have someone with them who isn't consuming to watch over them. You will likely vomit and you do not want to be on your back sleeping and aspirate on that. Unless you want to die.
      As with ANY mushroom, not just amanita's, KNOW what you have and DO NOT EAT RAW! Be smart about what you're doing. So many mushrooms have lookalikes!

    • @ausgepicht
      @ausgepicht Год назад +5

      Wrong.
      Amanita phalloides does NOT have a white cap, it has a putrid green cap. As a button it can be almost silver-gray. You're confusing it with the Destroying Angels, i.e. A. bisporigera, A. (ameri)virosa, A. ocreata, et al. which may be the same color as A. chrysoblema, the White Fly Agaric, but they do NOT look alike. The white Fly Agaric is much larger and has remnants on the cap. You would not only have to be an absolute beginner to confuse the two, but incredibly stupid. It would be like confusing a white BMW with a white Ford F150 Pick-Up Truck.
      The vast majority of poisonings with A. phalloides and destroying angels is not because they're confused with Fly Agarics, but because Asians and Europeans who come to the Americas confuse EDIBLE mushrooms back home that are similar in color. In other words, they don't look like Fly Agarics, but a mushroom you can throw in a pan and cook back home.
      So poisonings are coming from people not understanding that mushroom species differ by nation, even region. If you move, you have to start learning that region's species from scratch.

I have used this mushroom at very high dose and have indeed hallucinated while awake and have experienced on the raw mushroom (mostly Ibotenic acid) psychedelic effects - though not like psilocybin - but still fantastic and wonderful. I think it's greatest benefit is restorative sleep with dreams and has the potential to take a person out of a dark funk and reset them into a better state of mind if not a better life permantely. I just woke up from having a cup of mushroom tea last night and I had the best sleep I have had in years 😂❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 amazing
    I cooked the caps in 2 cups of water and lemon/orange slices ..
    Bring the water to a boil add your mushrooms and dissolve if in they are dry and powdered.
    Then add one sliced citrus fruit.
    Then put on the lowest heat setting for 30 minutes.
    And then take out the solid fruit rings and put the remaining liquid threw a filter.. you can even use a paper napkin folded in to a cone or triangle or a coffee filter. Although what's left over isn't harmful and iT adds a little consistency to the drink😊 .. you might want to add a little bit of sugar unless you uses an orange.
    I recommend that you sip it slowly and Hot..
    Depending on how many mushrooms you used and depending on how potent they were would determine the strength !!
    Although, I used one ounce 28 grams (1oz) for the 2 cups of water. That was about 2 and a half servings or doses I would guess.
    I didn't have any vivid dreams just a cozy relaxing state of being .. thanks GOD and thanks JESUS 💕🙏
    ENJOY YOUR CUP 🎉🎉🎉🎉

      If you use fresh, then your jar will be full because you want to use more, and be careful about cleanliness with fresh over dry since fresh increases your water content and cover it everyday with a cloth since you want the bad stuff gassing out and don’t want anything foreign going in.
      I use dry because I can’t get fresh, also be careful first few times till you hear it. Good luck it’s a video for you.
      I guess you could use pickling weights to keep them under the water, I just use jars that fit into jars.

    Beautiful description, thanks for sharing! :). Just wondering, did you feel any nausea from the tea? Do you really need to cook it for 3 hrs? Can I use fresh caps also? I read somewhere that 5-10 minutes is enough? Please keep experimenting and sharing with us! I will make a tea soon with fresh caps within the next few days...

      The longer you boil it, the more of the ibotenic acid (which can cause nausea) is converted to muscimol.

      Did you try it? I have fresh caps, and I've heard tea can be made from them as well. 2 cups of water on low for 30 minutes or so was suggested for a med/small apple sized cap, plus lemon. Microdosing to start around a teaspoon. The rest of the doses should be frozen ice cube trays.
      In other resources, I've read that drying in the oven can be too hot, and that if you need to cut it you should use a plastic knife. I don't have a large enough double boiler, and because of the metal knife thing, I don't want to use the stainless steel pot. But I have a casserole size glass pan and now 3 caps. I'm gonna put them in the oven on 200 with the door slightly ajar.

      Being stored in the fridge, I realized it only lasts about 4 or 5 days, then it starts to go bad. A great strategy is to freeze the liquid into ice cubes, store it in the freezer for when the medicine is needed.

    Once dried, can you consume the caps or do you have to make the tea? Will the caps harm you in a dried state? Some people say they arent the same as regular magic mushrooms, that you cant holucinate from this type, is that false?

    • @aze2099
      @aze2099 4 месяца назад

      This is not magic mushrooms. Different substances. You can get hallucinations, but more likely you'll have vivid dreams. You can eat the dried caps. The tea with lemon helps to convert the "bad" parts into "good" ones, so most prefer that. So higher risk of vomiting, diarrhea, stomach ache and such.

Would this be suitable to make a tea with such as you do in this video or do I need to cook it at the temperatures you dehydrated yours at first (160-190 degrees in my oven) before making a tea with lemon? by the way the cap is cracker dry so maybe I do not need to redry using heat? It can have a white cap? I came across such a mushroom and thought it was saproamanita thiersii. It has all the characteristics of an amanita, for sure-- it's just all white and bumpy with a very shaggy and flakey stalk. It smells like a puffball. I wanted to cook and dry it but no one is really saying how long to cook it BEFORE drying it. Even here you mentioned the temperature of your dehydrator but not the required time. But I know dehydrators take a long time... I plan to full boil for 1h then sun dry then tea.... If anyone could let me know anything about this process I would be grateful 🙏🏽📿 Peace and Health

      Very hard to "replant". They need the right ground and trees to bond with. Best is to dry in a dryer. They're hard to dry in an oven. You could just put them on a heating pad or in the sun, but drying at the right temperature decarbs them.
