Its in the 90s here and my ac is not cooling the fd room as much. I point a fan at the side of the fd (the side with the drain) and that fixes the problem.

I didn’t think the jelly square would do anything but I was amazed how big the suckers got! 😮 They suggest getting a small fan blowing on the pump. I haven’t yet myself and given yours is so far down from your machine I wonder if that would do much… perhaps it would, I D K. SchoolReports has his on the same level as his machine, but then he also never defrosts, just opens the door and blows a fan into it to melt the ice. Older 2017 machines might be noisier..?…
Yes the taste was similar to that cotton candy flavor! Not the best, not the worst. Haha. Yeah I may need to try the fan thing for the summer time - for extra air flow. No AC in our house in Alaska. The freeze dryer is in the basement which is much cooler than the main level, but if I shut the door in the room then it gets warm quick
