I have a tip for you, always pass on the left not on the right, specially when descending down a mountain doing 50 miles an hour. Also stay away from the double yellow solid lines , they’re very slippery when wet.
I saw you out there at 6Gap and when you crossed the line (was the dude in the teal/green jersey on the left side holding the kiddo). Was wondering when the footage was coming. Solid video and good times. Weather was iffy with the descents being slightly wet and leaves in the road on descents
I'm sorry I blame the lady she moved over way too late and she was hesitant! You Made your decision and was going much faster. That's on here. Cool video!
Congratulations! Cool video although downhill videos are always a little disconcerting to me! 3 questions if you don’t mind: 1) what size and make of tires were you using? 2) what gears are on your bike? 3) what type of maintenance regiment do you follow? Thanks again!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed the content. To answer your question: 1) I was rolling on Continental GP500 28mm with the tire pressure lowered for the conditions at 75 psi with inner Tubes. 2)52/36 - 11/30 in the rear 3) I usually take it to the bike shop for them to do a full check up on it since I ride a lot and race on that bike. For this ride we changed the brakes, chain, and replaced the cables since I’m on Ultegra mechanical!
Sweet ride, bro! Totally floating. You inspire me to aim higher on the bike for this year's rides. Do you have your speedo in km/hr? Stay safe; ride on!
@@tyyoung7625 Thanks man! I have it in mph but for future videos, I will start displaying both in certain shots or depending on the nature of the video!
out by me the nuance of chinese carbon is still uhhhh there thats forsure. I want to do a full chinese build for my second bike and use it to learn how to take care of my bikes.

36:01 ha! Spotted you! Yeah the descent was tricky indeed! Lowering my tire pressure felt more confident!
My gawd, and I’ll hold you accountable!!! 🤠😎😉🤙🏾

Great video D. You're a better man than me for riding in that weather. I'm a fair weather cyclist. Miss that ride though. You've come a long way
Thank you B! Yeah it took a good handful of rides in less than ideal weather to be comfortable taking on that little adventure lol.

Excellent Video, Excellent music choice on those descents, love watching you work sir Salute!

@@motostarmx1777 those are some personal questions man! Why do you ask, and thank you!

That’s a great way to learn. Would love to see it when you pull off the build!
@ first I have to explain to the fiancé
What speeds did you hit?
@@swing8 I hit a max of 60 mph at some points but very well hovered in the 50s for most of the descents that was dry enough!
