I thank you for sharing these wonderful classic patterns from yesteryear. Beautifully tied . Wonderful craftsmanship
Nice to see traditional flies tied in a traditional manner with original matterials. Well done m8
Thank you Brian.
Beautiful to watch a bit of English history tied by a master. Thanks from down-under in NZ.
Really enjoyed this bit of history on the correct fly dressing
Great to see this pattern tied so beautifully Robert
Just an amazing wet fly. Great work!
Great channel, always anticipating your new videos! Thanks again!
Another very elegant spider. :-)
I counted…you did 3 turns of hackle! Very nice simple fly! Thanks
This is great looking little fly I going to make one
Perfection!
Very nice tie!
So skillful
Thank you.
Really like this! I tied one last night. In the link you have below for the flies, the recipe listed red wire. I used copper as you did here. My question is, what size wire? I used a small wire but it seemed very bulky. Thanks, Anthony
NICE! Do you suppose he added the copper wire to also add weight to the fly?
In his book he staded that the wire was added to make the fly sit depper in the surface film.
Thanks!
Beautiful fly. Question for understanding.... Is the copper wire for weight or does it show?
The wire is added tp provide a little extra weight to the fly so it sits just under the surface film.
@@thedalesangler Thank you. That helps with my understanding.
You spelled his name wrong. It's Mold, not Mould.
