Jumped from 5 kilometres up for my 40th, it definitely feels a bit windier falling to earth haha, Do they make a bikini fairing for the CL500 ?, I ride everyday on a motorway section to work on my Vulcan S 650, & am going to change the sprockets to more teeth next year, should lower the revs by at least 1k at higher speeds, Cheers

Why lower the RPM? Stock is fine for the power.

@@SwenglishSteve650 yes they do make a bikini fairing for the CL500 but I don’t do much motorway riding so should be fine.

Having owned the CL500 for 12 months, @ 600 miles I increased the front sprocket by one tooth to lose 510 rpm's, as I have on my other previous 11 500 Honda's, and my current Hornet 500,..... IT IS PANTS, the CL is mapped differently and produces torque & power lower in the rev range, the 16T just makes it 'lug' in 4th, 5th & top, I changed it back after the first & only ride, it was a disaster, lesson learned, the CL is a lanes and B road blaster, get the NX, CBR or Hornet and change to 16T F/S and they'll be great on A roads, duals & Motorway, if that is your thing. My CL has now done nearly 5k miles, never missed a beat 👍 Fun bike, but not a tourer, as it moves about a lot, rubbish suspension. 😐, but great fun on the lanes 🙂
