I love Lisa and her amazing voice... so under rated in the world of divas !!
Hands down baby, Lisa Fischer's voice, control, style, prowess and delivery are nothing near secondclass or rate. She soars everytime she takes to the mic and stage. So many years after "So Intense" and her vocals are still whistle clean, vanguard and sharp as a razor. I had always been so enamoured with the numbers she performed and interpreted on her debut album!" Last Goodbye" and "Chain of Broken Hearts" were on constant repeat back in the day by me. And here's why! This songstress as far as I am concerned must have been conceived in the Heavens. For she shines ever so brightly. She only could have sprung from the camp of one of the finest: Mr. Luther Vandross. Thank you sir for prodding her into the foreground and out of the shadows of background singing! I love you, Lisa! Keep beaming your effervescent yet mellow light and spirit into the world of music! I am truly in awe, Wildflower. From one singer in my humble, beautiful land of Jamaica there are few voices so sultry and unspoiled as is the phenomenon of yours! Born to sing, you were. And till Shiloh, live to sing to our sweetly to our souls!
OMG ⭐️ Outstanding performance by ALL , especially Chris Botti and the AMAZING VOCAL SKILLS of Lisa Fischer ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing collaboration here ⭐️ BRAVO ⭐️ deserved a standing O !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SOOOOOOO phenomenal! She’s quite possibly the greatest vocalist of all time, in my opinion!
She's definitely one of the best and one of my favourites along with Phyllis Hyman and a young Chaka Khan.
I have thought the same...I mean ..she is that good....for me anyway..and you.
I absolutely Love the ways That Christ Botti does this Classic, with the many difference Vocal Artists that he invites to do this Piece.
I feel like the trumpet and her voice is making beautiful Luv Notes!!💖💞💞💞💞💞
+Angel Esprit What a lovely analogy!
+Angel Esprit ok this a bit unrelated but felt like I needed to tell someone the trumpet player Chris Botti here is about 50 years old. He looks soooo young.
Angel Esprit don’t forget the trumpet player
INCREDIBLE!!! A MASTER CLASS FOR THOSE WHO SCREAM INSTEAD OF SING!!!
That has to be one of the coolest performances I've ever seen. Lisa Fisher brought new life to that Bacharach tune.
Lisa Fisher is amazing! Fricking amazing!
The look on Chris Botti's face at 0.56 says it all.
Sing Lisa sing ! What a beautiful voice . GOD has really blessed you .
Awesome!! I love them performing together.
First noticed Lisa when she did background for Luther...and you know Luther would not have anyone singing background, if they could not saaang!
Just like he did it in St. Louis last night!!!! AWESOME!!!!! Lisa is AWESOME!!!!
my gurl killed it!! they sure don't make 'em like that anymore...love her!! :)
Saw them a few weeks ago at the Kravis Center in Palm Beach.... best concert I've ever been to
just astounding
great sound the voice and the instrument flow so nice
Until now, my favorite version of this song was done by Isaac Hayes. I still love his version But, you put your WHOLE FOOT in this!!! Yep, I'm going "old-school"!!!

I like the cd version, but man her voice and the trumpet played by Chris Botti go hand in hand! 👌🏽
Fantastic! Bravo!! Sounds like a Quincy Jones production. LF is truly EVERYTHING 👏👏😍
A voice from Heaven
Grande Lisa ! Una voce rara!
just amazing watching this, Lisa, Chris and that orchestra. Mind blowing ;)
Perfekcyjne pod każdym względem.
Absolute Perfection!
She is so awesome!
That was the coolest arrangement of The Look of Love that I've ever heard/seen. Whoa!
Saw these guys last summer in Deer Valley, Utah. That was a happy day! :)
Thanks for uploading this, @profesor5555!
they restoreth my soul
this just made my day better! WHEW! was they jamming or what! Chris Botti and Lisa Fisher was doing it!
IMHO, this theme should be played warmly, soulful with a Bossa feeling. Diana Krall's take was a good one...
This is the best video I will ever see.
Pure stupendous!
Diva Lisa❤️
FANTASTIC, EVEN MORE THAN FANTASTIC I JUST CAN'T FIND THE WORDS FOR THE MUSIC!!!!!
Voices Shatter Glass and Cause Joyous Tears to Flow as One Stutters! Namaste SisStar Goddess! Honoring Gentle-Man Botti and everyone present! Blessings for the post Sir.
Lisa backed Luther Vandross, left the Stones wallowing in her wake and has now become one of the greatest jazz singers to ever grace our planet. Truly goose bump material.
@Dissily Mordentroge Lisa Fischer is not just a Jazz Singer. Her talent is that she is a versatile and has given virtuoso performances in R&B, Classical and Rock Music. She can't be pigeon holed in one genre - this does her a disservice.
@@sylviamaua745 Did I pigeon hole her? I'm well aware her very early training was as a classical mezzo soprano and that her range is staggeringly extensive. Take for instance her performance of ‘Dambala’ a few years ago at the Albert Hall concert in honour of Nina Simone.
@@dissilymordentroge5818 by claiming Lisa Fischer is "one of the greatest jazz singers" you certainly are pigeon-holing her. She does not compare with Jazz Greats Dee Dee Bridgewater or Diane Reeves who have more than 40 years of Jazz recordings. I have seen also your comments on Lisa Fischer's training as a Classical Mezzo-soprano. Her talents are unique and multifaceted across several musical genres, her few recordings and early career are in R&B music like her mentor Luther Vandross. Her early training was steeped in Gospel Music from the church like many African-American singers.
Chris not to is very good/excellent musician he plays with some of the most beautiful people and plays his horn with dignity/pride just love him and yes I do have his cds
oh my i love this....
JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU HAVE HEARD IT ALL - A VOICE FROM JAZZ HEAVEN DESCENDS UPON RUclips AND TUNES-UP MY LAPTOP LIKE
NO OTHER SINGER IN I DON'T KNOW WHEN .
THERE IS A GOD AND HE IS A JAZZ LOVER.
RR.
THE LOOK OF LOVE
great
Lisa is in a class of her own I think, Chris Botti is hugely talented as well (not taking aything away from him of course) !
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uwielbiam ....
just great,well done!
FANTASTIC!
Melhor cantora que já ouvi. Converge influências e estilos diferentes, porém com personalização singular.
BOTTI - HEADS , OMG.... I'M SITTING IN A 24 HOUR MCD'S AT 6:47 AM AND
THIS AWESOME WOMAN'S VOICE BLASTED ME OUT OF MY COMPUTER
STATION - SO I DUSTED OFF AND STARTED TYPING !!!! WHO IS THIS AND
WHAT GALAXY DOES SHE COME FROM ???? SHE REMINDS ME OF
MINNIE RIPPERTON A SINGER WHO HUNG OUT IN THE FIVE-OCTIVE RANGE
OF RARE SINGERS HOWEVER NOT A JAZZ SINGER AS THIS WOMAN IS.
ANYONE KNOWING HER SINGING ROOTS - PLEASE SCHOOL ME CAUSE I
AM BLOWN AWAY - THE VOCAL MATCH OF CHRIS BOTTI'S HORN
RR
That same voice sings Sympathy For The Devil with the Stones.
Now that's range.
Phenomenal
Wow.....she is jammin with her voice and that horn----TRUMPET----Would love to see her Live. GN.
I have seen her live ...in a smaller jazz club with her backing band " Grand Baton " 13 May 2016; the place were jam-packed and they were a big success with all of us there; I was sitting at a table neck and neck with the stage so if I had stretch out my arm I could have touched her feet ( bare feet )...everyone got a hug and a photo with her if they wanted afterwards...it is an intimate place so that works there, I had to stand in line 20 minutes before my turn. JCs guitar playing is very colorated, that is something you don´t hear so much in the iphone videos that turn up with them on youtube. It was very nice to hear them so close up, it was like sitting in Lisa´s lap...can it be better!? I can tell you she is a tough chick...all from tender whispering that gives you the goosebumps to roaring bombardments that wakes every fiber in your body. The band is great to say the least. Now soon on the 27:nth of aug 2016 they will be playing in Italy on the final day of a festival called " La Notte della Taranta " in Melpignano; 2015 there were 200.000 ( two hudred thousand ! ) people there, and they cover it with two TV channels and one radio channel...Lisa says she is so exited to play there. Hoping for the best...people want to get in trance there...so give it your all!!
wow, I wish. About to put it on REPEAT...
Videos from that festival is seen a lot on youtube, so with some luck their performance will possible to see there.
Heard her live in Sydney last year - utterly mind-blowing! Surely the worlds most underrated female vocalist. We should have seen her coming though when she left the Stones floundering in her wake all those years ago and blew my mind out with her version of 'How Can I Heal The Pain'.
Deslumbrante.....................
1/12/1958 Auguri alla più grande:Lisa Fischer
Speciale il gruppo e Chris !!!
wow!!!
Good lawd, that was good.

Parfait
SANG the song LISA!!!!
❤❤❤
honestly like the sy smith version, It was much slower and it grooved way harder...BUT this is till smooth
MrKillingspree1990 Lisa has better vocals but Sy had better instrumentation
Does anybody remember that little song she used to sing called Gimme Shelter?
Love these two together! I wonder if his song Lisa, is about her?
Moxie Jones when they play together I think they both adore one another in their music practice!
She sang with Luther V.!
I still love this version but just a bit to fast for me.
Is there a recording of this ANYWHERE???
czy ten koncert jest na DVD ?
Bad Ass
PLEASE !!! NO way . Not even close .
Gee! If you don't call this soothing. . . you don't know smooth jazz.
Just too fast . it loses the soul
Way too fast.
Way too fast. Excellent singer though.
very nice , but nowhere's as fine a voice of Paula Coles version..honest, type it in and give it a listen.
KAKAV ZVEK! LISA, MAJKO!
Like Paula Cole version better
Nah! Didn't particularly care for this rendition
