A tip that is helping me: Instead of trying to think of which # to count on (2, 1, 4, 3, 2, 3), I think of starting on 2, and then waiting for two ticks before I take the next step. It's always two ticks between, until the very last pair.
@@tangotools 50 years old an over compositions, and playing with your demo should be fine, I saw old Di Sarli playing with people dancing into it and there were no cuts... Check that! If not a good metronome, why not? Keep it on :)
@@bobbythompson263 that's not how copywriting works. It is 70 years after the composer's death AND 70 years after the death of whoever played and recorded the music, even if the music is public domain. All of the tango music from the Golden Age is copyrighted and cannot be publicly played without a music license.
Thank you. You'll probably won't need so much rhythmic complexity when dancing a particular tango. But being able to do more than what you need helps make your dance feel easy.
Great video, very helpful. I like the metronome use as it makes it a lot clearer. Just ordered a metronome so that I can keep practicing
That's great. A metronome truly helps with timing. Enjoy!
Great practice for everyone. I recommend highly
Thank you!
Rewatching again and again! Thanks a bunch for sharing the knowledge!!!
Thank you!
Gracias por tu enorme aporte al tango.

Excellent tutorial! I am finally understanding some things I was never clear about, and am able to correct some sloppy habits. Thank you
You're welcome! I'm glad it's helping you.
Honest,great lesson!thanks.
Thank you!
We have been waiting for this! Thank you 👌
Muy buena clase!!!
Me encantó!
Gracias!
Good thing youtube lets you slow the video down! I could not keep up with the síncopa in double time.
You can also try on your own at a slower tempo.
@@tangotools Yes, thanks. It's a good challenge and shows where I need to focus most.

Really thanks a lot
Could make the next video on the history of Tango music and different orchestra.. And how to be a d. J
Thanks. There are other channels that are better for that. I specialise in the dancing aspect of tango; technique, combinations, etc.
Very educational tutorial,thanks you!
You're welcome!
Hello Jordi, i am happy to see a new amazing video from you. Thanks for sharing this 🙏 😊 🕺
You're welcome!
It would be nice to demonstrate on tango music to apply even more...
I agree. But if I get a copyright strike, the video might be taken down.

Jordi, where to get the beat?
You can use a metronome, either a real one or an app, and set these beats on it.
Harder than it looks. I’ll have to spend more time doing each rhythm as you recommended. Edit: love reggae, didn’t know it was syncopated.

😍😍😍
Too much talking
Noted.
Great lesson - thanks!
