We were so lucky to have grown up in a musical era when even the " one hit wonders' were. great!!!
So true, in fact I’d be hard pressed to pick my top 10 from the 70’s, let alone of all time
@@chillywilly9080 The best I can do is my top 200 songs of the 70's and I am sure I would have left out another 200.
Recorded in Muscle Shoals. With Tasha enjoying music history and documentaries she needs to watch the Muscle Shoals documentary. Ya'll will both be amazed at how many songs that you both know have recorded there.
U r so right..My hometown..
Jeez, how could a band this damn talented only have 1 big hit? I watched 'e, do it live on the "Midnite Special", and they were perfect..again, I ask " How?!"
Because most became part of Van Morrison, that's who you hear on piano
"Don't let the screen door hit you/ On your way out... This puts the "classic" in classic rock!
I can't remember the last time I heard this. Love it.
Sorry to be commenting on this video, but wanted to comment on Ts 80/90s video from last night and the comments were turned off, hope all is well. PS. Love this song, brings me back to my childhood in the 70s
The tears in her eyes are from the smoke that comes from the distant fire, the fire/flame that she has on the other side town. The new man is lighting her fire and that smoke causes her to tear up when she comes back home because she's missing the NEW man. Noit the old one.
Great song!!
No matter what the subject we had a good time and DANCED .
I forgot all about this awesome song ,thanks.
This is a banger. I had forgotten all about it. Thanks, now I'm going to listen to it again. Love it.
Me too!
This was their big hit, but they recorded three really good LP's. Thanks for sharing this one!.
Greatest line don't let that screen door hit you in the way out 😆😆😆😆😆😆💯🍦
GREAT PICK!!! GREAT TUNE, YOU-GUYS!! Thanks for the AWESOME REACTIONS!! :) HUGS - and, HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
I completely forgot about this song
The Midnight Special performance is just as good as the studio version.
Love this song!!
Didn't know Geraldo was in a band!
Great music i remember when this came out 😅
Classic tune! Dude sounds similar to Daryl Hall
This is a song where the guy had a lot of energy ... was feeling good about dropping the baggage and moving on. The other person didn't stack up.. so they can slack up & pack up because... he just does not care! Fantastic energy. 💪 BYE Cheater!
Don't let the screen door hit you, on your way out lol
Nice song!! 👏😊
Good call here, Powerful lyrics (Been There)!
Hey Tash, Stella found his groove
Have you guys reacted to “The Warning “rock band ?..3 sisters from Mexico
Sadly the story in this song is just too relevant in today's society. We really don't hear love song music like the 50's-80's had as women just don't inspire men to be romantic and see them as the prize anymore. Sad
I don't think you guys have done any Brewer & Shipley--a folk / rock / country duo from the 60's and 70's. You should check out
"One Toke Over the Line" (ruclips.net/video/L9HXClusp_E/видео.html) --Their most popular song
"Witchi Tai To" (ruclips.net/video/dS_41bCx_nE/видео.html) --Their cover of a song written by Native American jazz musician Jim Pepper. My favorite of all their songs.
"Fifty States of Freedom" (ruclips.net/video/Zv1bPYgrVzs/видео.html) --A great early 70's rock song.
blue-eyed soul kiss-off song. :p :)
