When I look for music for babies to calm them (and momma) down, I look for deeper tones and about 60 beats per minute. The Sleep Foundation says this -- "The tempo, or speed, at which music is played is often measured in the amount of beats per minute (BPM). Most studies have selected music that is around 60-80 BPM. Because normal resting heart rates range from 60 to 100 BPM, it’s often hypothesized that the body may sync up with slower music."

@capness1228 it's perfectly fine to be cringe if helps you feel something or heal something within you. Maybe you need to let yourself be cringe sometimes

I love to listen to meditative music (Koshi chimes, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowl music, rainstorm/thunder sounds, a crackling fireplace accompanied with howling winds, Japanese monk music, etc.) as I relax in bed. But, I wonder what kind of dreams will occur as I drift off to sleep listening to Dark Cello music? Will I have nightmares or will I wake up refreshed and happy? Hmmmmmmmm.

I do love a good cello. I'd like to play it someday, but I'm working on Piano and I have a violin and a clarinet that I haven't really started on yet. Cellos are big instruments too, so they're not easy things to play.

Why does everyone think this is death? This is life. It's rather comforting and soothing. As for death, I'll quote Dr. Zaius: "Don't look for it, Taylor. You may not like what you find."

Love this! Very reminiscent of the Blood Elf music(very string heavy, harp & cello mostly) from World of Warcraft, for anyone familiar with the game. Highly recommend just searching "eversong ambience" for anyone unfamiliar with it.
