Dark Classical Academia Volume 4 You're Studying at an Oxford Library at Night 📜 is out now! ruclips.net/video/gvvy2zjTb0k/видео.htmlsi=7CEvna1qu8pv2CUn
I like the fact that all of us, listening to that playlist simultaneously, though far apart, are like visitors of the same library, lost between contemplation and concentration... I wish you the best with whatever you're working on (or dreaming about) guys :)
I am not making light of this by any means love!! That being said .... it did make me chuckle 😁😅 so thank you for that ~ as it's 5am and I've yet to sleep .... A G A I N. 😅
I just want a break from being a human😩 not in a su icidal way…but like…just a pause in time…a break from the human thoughts and limitations…how does one feel free…in a limited time space experience…humans come up with all sorts of reasons as to why we are here…but earth is heavy…the body…the mind…without an exit or pause button….and it’s just really weird being here…this is what i think about when i can’t sleep 🫠
Im so glad someone feels the way I do. So demanding every day I feel ghosts are all around me, the wind is reminding me of all my tasks, each breath becomes harder, people lash out at others, emotions start to intertwine...I find solace in my yard. I love my st Augustine grass because all it does is grow so strong, straight up reaching for the sky. After I cut and maintain it, it's like a green velvet blanket. ❤
When feeling similarly; I sometimes can & do remind myself how fortunate I am having been born a human being, rather than any and all creatures born into the animal kingdom (be it land or aquatic). Collectively, they have it very difficult compared to us.
*There's a poetic depth to dark academia music that resonates with those who seek solace in the shadows of existence, finding beauty in the quiet moments of introspection and reflection*
To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need. •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, and your pet so you have a study buddy (if you have one) Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight at least 7hours
You're so kind , even if it's not your original writing , the fact that you thought of how someone else might need / enjoy it is just amazing , may all your desires come true❤️
I found your study videos 2 years ago when I first started my channel. Last week it hit the 100k mark. I'm here to say thank you for your work and dedication to providing excellent ambiance playlists that helped make this happen! I've spent countless hours with your channel. I wish you all the best and continued success! Dark academic is my fav btw 🥰
My Co-worker showed me this at work. I went from rock to classical. Theres a beauty to this that is delicate and powerful. Giving my mind the space it needs to focus on my tasks, yet filling empty noise with something. Thank you to the person that showed me this.
*Dark academia tracks possess an otherworldly charm, beckoning listeners to explore the enigmatic realms of mystery, romance, and intellectual curiosity*
This is one of my fave go-to for sleep. Perfect volume with no big crescendos or annoying tempo changes to break the slide into slumber. Never made it all the way through, just 15min at a time since it puts me right out.
I love this calm feeling I get when I listen to these songs, it's a great selection. These playlists are why I can get through my schoolwork while feeling so at peace at the same time. Honestly I don't feel depressed, but rather relieved when I hear this kind of music. Thank you.
Life is like a starry night sky. It’s mostly black and full of darkness, yet scattered throughout that darkness are twinkling little sparkles of joy and hope and love
Most of the time when i look up classical music for study it's always something very upbeat and I can't focus, this is the perfect playlist I've been looking for! Thanks so much!
Let's just agree that music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music.
Thank you. I just spent 45 minutes during my morning ferry ride into the city listening to this video as I read and reflected. It creates a perfect sanctuary for my morning.
Listening to this as I work in order to get into the university of my dreams... I hope one day I'll be listening to this song again in its campus as I study, revisiting this old, fimiliar library, hearing this beautiful music once again...
The playlist in this video has helped me write all four of my philosophy papers. I usually can't listen to anything with much of a melody so I put on brown noise. This video popped up and its perfect. I just replay it over and over again. Thanks for the help!
Classical music has played a crucial role in the evolution of Western music. Composers from different periods, such as the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern eras, each contributed unique styles and forms. This music often reflects the cultural and social contexts of its time, making it a rich subject for historical and cultural studies.
Not sure how I found this genre (algorithym likely) but it suits so much of my mood as the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer and solitude becomes the way up here in the mountains of New England. Light a candle, read, write, sit in silence, eat a meal, gratitude for it all.
This beautiful playlist is so calming while studying.. I can easily get caught up in the tune and feel a nice shiver going through my body. Sometimes it can even make me cry just how beautiful it is, and it melts all my stress away. It deserves more attention! Thank you ❤
I've been really enjoying these for sleep. Since the piano is softened/echoing, I'm not startled awake by sharp high notes, as is usually the case with many "relaxing" piano pieces.
I am currently writing a mystery story and I must say that this is helping me a lot with setting the mood! This is a beautiful piece. Keep up the amazing work ♡
Love this!! If I don't have some kind of instrumental music playing in the background I find myself checking my friend group's Discord or browsing Facebook and RUclips every 2 minutes. This music is the perfect pick because it puts me in the right mood to get on with writing.
I love studying in the library too! Libraries are wonderful. I have been creating "study with me" videos in the library and I hope to motivate more people to come and study in the library! 🙂
One of my favorite work music playlists. Most are so soft and slow they are sleep-inducing. This one has enough volume and variation without being overly distracting. Really nice pace and ambiance!
Love this. It's exactly what I'm looking for when trying to study, like kind of melancholy mellow piano. I'm using this to study for my painting contractors license and it helps me focus way better than any other genre
I've been subscribed to your channel already couple of years. Have stopped watching it because I lost my path in medicine. Have found it yet again and will continue to prove myself with your study playlists. Burnout syndrome is a huge thing among med students. Stay strong everyone!
studying to be a med student, more power to you lovely stranger! youre my inspiration, the world sincerely thanks your efforts. Take care of yourself okay?
I always listen to this while studying. It helps me imagine that I'm a wizard who's studying at Hogwarts, or a writer/philosopher/scientist in the past, or anything similar and it's a lot more interesting this way :)
This is perfect for any mood. It really helps me focus on work and motivates me to clean. It also helps me sleep when I struggle to do so. Thank you so much for posting this!
that's the very reason I like waking up early, before the rest of the world gets up. I get to live my morning like I'm the only one in the world, for at least an hour or so. :)
Uhm actually while it's night for you it is day for others because as the earth rotates part of it becomes night part becomes day so while you think the whole world is sleep realistically only about half is ☝️🤓
This is such a wonderful playlist. I play it for the kids during study time, I play it in my AirPods at the grocery store. It just soothes and helps with focus. Really well curated. Thank you. 💐
I rarely comment on these backgroundish musics I use for studying, but man these Dark Academia tracks are my new go-to while studying medicine. I like to put this on when working night shifts at the old people´s home I work at and study, if I have time. This creates the perfect atmosphere. Thank you so much for these beautiful creations!
Is this the one from way before???? Yes finally!!!! I always loved that huge room indoor echo from a piano with nothing in the backround. The way the piano plays so slowly and softly (or just the type of songs it plays) moves my heart in the morning when i wake up. It feels like im at peace for the time being, and things are alright.
Omg thank you SOOOOO MUCH! I'm glad you listened to us as not many people do ya know, I will now listen to this like everyday for the next month or two :) Edit: been like 8 or 9 months since i started listening and I’m still listening to this. I’ve never enjoyed a music video as much as this. I even know the exact point the ad plays :)
To everyone here listening to this awesome relaxing music, If you are feeling down today, remember this: Life its like a rollercoaster, full of ups and downs but in the end it will always be worth it. Don’t give up! We believe in you!
I'm writting a dark romance thriller book, and this playlist it's helping me a lot to get the atmosphere that I want to create inside the book. Thank u so much for this beautiful music!
I would not call this dark classical music, but i am so glad to have clicked on this one!! Beautiful, got me reading my self help book like it’s Charles Bukowskis’ poetry or something…
i really loved your light classical playlist from awhile back-- any chance you'll ever upload it again? or would you be willing to share the tracklist? it seriously got me through so many stressful days
This music is so inspiring. I'm planning ideas for a potential Analog Horror/Anti-Biowarfare film series I am going to be doing. This music is gonna help for the coming months. Thanks! :D
Our world is like a dance that constantly goes That Pushing forward 8:32 like.. The cosmic strings That define our world. Sometimes all you do does not add up to anything in this great universe of ours. Some of you might feel hopeless. Some of us might want to just close our eyes and rest to just truly rest and not need to worry about our problems anymore. But to be human in this world is to understand the chaos, It's a part of us. With us In every step every thought. Everything that makes us human. It is truly hard truly painful. Truly exhausting. Some wishes to end, some Wish to close their eyes to rest for a short time. Everything is OK. Life is the way it is for a reason. Even if we do not understand The cosmic strings of this world. It will be OK. Someday you will have that light that you wish for that day. Where everything is OK. We're happy and no longer afraid. Is miserable or sad.
It's natural to feel disheartened when faced with setbacks or failures. However, it's important to remember that these moments do not define your worth or determine your future. Instead, they provide valuable lessons and opportunities for growth. Take a moment to reflect on what you've learned from past challenges and how they've helped you become stronger and more resilient. Use this knowledge to fuel your determination and drive as you continue on your journey. You have the power to turn setbacks into stepping stones towards success.
*Sorry, just want to leave this here*-- at 9:00, the song that starts led me here.. "She was a 5 year old, petite frame girl of tremendous talent only recognized by the few obligated to do so at her school. No particular friends to speak of or enjoy, very few warm cuddles or loving affirmations from her parents. An only child, she learns to self-sooth to the extent that little to no joy is found elsewhere in the world. The faint spark of happiness that simmers under her sullen demeanor is the only warmth that she feels, created on her own in the dark, cold basement room where she spends most of her days and nights. A place where most children her age would be lonesome and scared gave her sanctuary, however, as it was the only place the burglars didn't check as they ransacked the home for valuables. She wakes in the darkest part of night to an oddly chilly draft whistling under her door. Upon surfacing from her room, she notices the front door open enough to be the cause of the biting cold air. Seeing her parents many possessions strangely strewn about in the hallway, she approaches their bedroom door that is open wide and completely silent. No usual snoring or moving about as she would hear any other night when she paced the hallways, enjoying the stillness that always comes as the rest of the world sleeps. She gently steps into her parents room only to see them laying lifeless and bloody in their bed, hardly any struggle was made to sustain their lives it seems. Caught off-guard, their lives ended as quickly as a passing breath. She comforts their motionless, faintly warm bodies and sobs quietly. Her tears steadily trail down her face, but not out of sorrow or heartbreak. Her face is full of sorrow, yet she can't help feeling....relief. Relief that comes from knowing their hurtful, heartless words are as absent as the life from their faces. She returns to the drafty hallway and hugs the wall for support, but only for a moment. Her arms feel their way up as far as she can reach, her feet tap along in a melodic rhythm as she spins on her toes. "Stand straight and feel the joy!", as her ballet coach would routinely announce. 2 years of training and ballet lessons suddenly made her movements as fluid as she's ever been. She dances along the hallway of scattered shoes and jewelry, reveling in her new-found freedom, almost in slow motion as blood transfers down the wall from her final farewell with her mom and dad. As she approaches the front door, still ajar from last nights' intruders, the beckoning daylight peaks around the edges encouraging her every movement. Her little fingers pull the door open and the sun embraces her with a warmth she's never known in her 5 years of life. She welcomes the pinch of fear for her future but as her shadow glides over the threshold of the home, she can't hide her smile and joy that comes from knowing she is completely and utterly...free..
YES There aren't too many positive things going on for me right now, so it is a bright ray of sunshine every time I see Chillhop drop some new music. Thanks, yall
I love this playlist so much. I stumbled upon the original last year and I've been listening to it ever since. Doing school readings, assignments, when I'm going/coming back from uni and while doing my own reading. It's such a soothing playlist. If I may, do you by any chance have names for the individual pieces in your playlist? It's such a masterpiece and I want to know if every piano piece has a name. I think they deserve one. My favorite is the one at 33:02

I can picture wandering through the library of Forgotten Books (Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafron), listening to this with head-phones.
I feel motivated and depressed at the same time. It's perfect

Beautifully stated

This sounds gorgeous
I hope you all have a successful studying journey, wish you the best
Such beautiful music and a wonderful surprise. I wish I could play the piano like that. Very soothing.
Really beautiful!! I listen to this at work -- it's quiet and calming, and it's nice and long!

There aren't too many positive things going on for me right now, so it is a bright ray of sunshine every time I see Chillhop drop some new music.

I NEED THIS PLAYLIST ☼
Thank you so much for this playlist! I was having the worst writer's block until now.
My favorite is the one at 33:02
I second this! I would love to know the name of that masterpiece.
Yep I was looking for a tracklist so I could find the track on Spotify, but alas. Shazam was like, "Nope, never heard of it!"
Thank you so much for reposting the dark academia videos!! Will you also be reposting the light version? The visuals were so beautiful.
