Trains at Newcastle Central, ECML, 24/08/2024

A nice mix of trains spotted at Newcastle Central Station, filmed within a period of about 3 and a half hours on 24th August 2024.
The main reason for my visit was to get a shot of the 125 groups Retro High Speed Scot Railtour, operated with a HST set, with Midland Mainline liveried powercar 43159 ‘Rio Warrior’ on the front, and EMT liveried 43089 on the rear. Also seen in this film is a light Class 66 locomotive, and the usual passenger services from LNER, CrossCountry, TPE, Lumo and Northern.

- Transpennine Express Class 802 ‘Nova 1’
- Lumo Class 803
- Northern Class 156’s & 158’s
- CrossCountry Class 220 & 221 Voyagers
- GBRF Class 66
- 125 Group HST set
