Finally someone who explained in detail and told counter clockwise, etc. or clockwise, showing the whole procedure on the camera and not just talking about it! I finally know how to do it!!! Thank you!!!
My folks had a kirby for about 25 years, how ever I managed to break that one. My father decided to buy the new kirby shown in the video and I’ve been learning how to properly maintain it on my own. I can’t express how helpful this video was!! I was freaking out cause the belt slipped outta place.
You made it so easy!!!! I have struggled trying to put that damn belt on for hours, and doing it along with your video 5 minutes and I had the new belt on!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Dude, i bought my Avalir 6 years ago and my belt broke soon after. Watched a video on how to replace the belt and tried it myself. The belts (4) kept snapping on me. I gave up trying and stored the vacuum in my garage for 5 years until i stumbled on your video. Turns out i been doing it wrong the whole time 😂 thank you for your video.
Thank you! I broke a belt and needed to replace it, but I have a concussion and reading was making no sense. Your visual was so simple to follow. Thank you!!!
Thank you for doing this video. Followed it from start to finish and my newish kirby avilar 2 is running so much better and I also changed out the bag. Thanks again
Thanks! I never remember the belt on belt off thing. For some reason, I always think it’s exact opposite for some reason. Maybe now, because of your explanation, I’ll remember. Thanks again.!❤
I have followed these directions, along with other instructional videos, and have now broken two belts. What might I be doing wrong? I’m following it exactly and not going too low once I start vacuuming.
Very helpful video!! All i wanted was a nice bissell for xmas and whilst i was at work 2 nice gentleman came and sold my husband magic beans. They basically pulled it out of the box ran it a couple times, showed my husband useless features wnd he was sold but they never secured the belt or i dont know yet but after 11 months we finally figured out the belt was never on and never noticed the brush roll not spinning. So we have a $2000 paper weight and my husband won't tell me the company he bought it from because I've been waiting a loooong time to have a chat with them lol. I love kirbys but if i wanted one that bad because i can get one at a thrift shop or fb marketplace. i was so mad.
I have broken 2 brand new belts within 90 seconds of putting them on. They are marked Kirby with the proper number. They are VERY stiff and difficult to put on. What's up? Ar3 they counterfeit?
Also a good idea if your not going to use the vacuum for an extended period of time take the power head off and release the tension on the belt. This will prevent oblong stretching from storing the vacuum with tension on the belt over an extended period of time.
Can you tell me if the actual belt is to go on the inside of the hook or outside? I can’t seem to get it right. Thanks. Your video is well appreciated.
The belt should be on the hook (belt off)when you attach the head into the unit. Once you lock it in place, turn the knob to "belt on". The belt should unhook and position itself on to the shaft
I've been following you for a little while because you do excellent videos. Do you have any followers who send you label printers for review? I have a Brother RJ-4230B that there is not a lot of info on.

This is by far the best video to teach this. I've watched many many to no avail ..but got it right away on this one . Ty ty ty
BRO! This helped me SO much! My Kirby was an enigma and I was afraid to tackle it. Took me a little longer than 5 minutes but now I got it!
Happy to help bro 🤝

Also, to save the life on your belt and motor, only start and stop the vacuum on its highest settings.
@@33fivers my avalir only has one setting
You’re the best! Step by step, no confusion, and so easy to follow. Thanks!

Thank you..... first video I found that actually explained the belt on - off. I feel like the on/off is opposite of what it really is.. LOL
You are welcome. Yeah it's kinda confusing 😅
Game changer you rock man Godbless you!!!

Didn't even think of that.
Genius 🙌 I learned because of you and now I’m going to show my boyfriend how to do it and look like a genius to him 😂 thank you
You are welcome
I'm totally confused, because when it's in the off position, it's really on! I'm assuming it works the same way with the shampooer?
Great video! Best one I’ve seen. Got it on the first try and thats never happened. 😂
Thanks brotha!! I’m out of the “dog house” now!

Sorry I just saw this! That would be great, I appreciate the thought. If you could reach out on IG or email we can get in touch!
@@thecollegepicker Thank you! Will do.
At 4:45 you say "turn counter clockwise" but you're turning clockwise.
Clock dyslexia.
The dance after 😂
The dance at the end 😅
Hey bro what happened to Bonifide?
He's still hustling down in atx, I think he uploaded recently 🤠
Thank you so much! I just fixed my Kirby it kept breaking the belt. I didn't have the belt on correctly!

I want to sell mine. It's brand new. Where can i sell it besides eBay?
You could sell it locally on Facebook marketplace or craigslist or offerup
I cannot get the brush to come out
THANKS for such clear and concise directions! You made it a breeze to change my belt.
You are welcome
Except you didn’t move it counterclockwise when you put it back on. You moved it clockwise. Good grief.
We did that for you 😀
Nice
Thx =)
My broom still won't turn uugggg
Kirby compared to a Dyson...like a HAM radio compared to an iPhone
Ham radio still works when the grid goes down 😁
I’m trying to fix my fucking vacuum and it’s not working my house is a mess
Is your belt broken?
I can't get my belt to latch dammit
