Don't forget Super Polymerization targets. I mean, most Super Polymerization targets are pretty good, but if you're stuck with one of the worse ones, Mutamorphasis is another way to use it.

Interestingly enough, there's a lvl 3 combo that can be done in OCG and I think Master Duel with this! Any card that can go into a lvl 3 synchro by itself : Aka Lefty/Right Driver, Deep Sea Diva, Hugin + lvl 1 tuner, etc. Make Goyo Defender -> Goyo Defender effect to summon ANOTHER Goyo Defender -> Muta on Defender summoning Gen/Ken -> Gen -> Then you can overlay into MX Saber Invoker -> detach to ss whatever you want from deck -> follow up with Isolde -> hell, you can even go into Summon Sorceress! The possibilities for this are ENDLESS. Myself, I thought this video was freaking amazing, and it made me think about things like Goyo Defender, Blackwing Sohaya, Celestial Double Star Shaman, Metal Marcher and other such cards that revive 1 or more other synchros. Trying to figure out ways to extend further from there and give yourself more bang for your buck. I'm a bit surprised you didn't delve deeper into the varying levels and what those options allow, but I understand given limited attention span(s) and video lengths! I briefly considered Cyberse Sage with a normal monster engine somehow; but that raises extra questions as to HOW. Sure we have Draconnet and Dai, but then you need a 2nd normal monster by making Sage Fusion Summon Allvain. 2 + 1 = 3 so provided you have a cyberse pile with enough gas in the tank you can reach this as well in theory.
What's insane is just like you said. This card has insane UNEXPLORED potential. Just like the examples you have above the possibilities are almost impossible to calculate. This video is just to show it's brief power how I was experimenting with it using gishki, maxxc, psyframe gamma, etc in a 2 engine. I was using it in a runick/generator engine for 9s but the deckbuilding has to be super tight and they compete for the field spell slot so it was a competent deck with good win ratio but not completive enough. After that I wanted to work on the video but there is still so much unexplored territory here the comments are ripe with suggestions too!
I knew Goyo Defender would be useful when I saw it in Duel Links lol. Problem is that this combo commits the Extra pretty hard so it needs to do something very strong.
@@GaussianEntity 2 Goyo, 1 Invoker and 1 Isolde is a small price imo to pay for what the Invoker + Isolde access alone give you. With Gen/Ken it gets a bit juicier if you take into consideration Thrust getting turned on by this. ^^
@Carbunklle It's a good engine, not going to deny it. I guess I just need to see what deck wants something like this. Goblins come to mind but a lot of these monsters are EARTH/ LIGHT and Warrior type so there might be decks that get a boost from something like this.

Spright can already search Maxx C (summon off gigantic and then use sprind to spin it to your hand) but it’s still not quiiiiite good enough to be a line worth going for usually. This card is so fascinating though, endless cooking opportunities for budding chefs!
Damn I didn't even know this card is already here. This can be a great extender for say, vanquish souls or kashtira. Also, geri is level 4 and there are a lot of level 4 plays with geri, if you can clear Hugin from extra zone
Found it decent in runick spright for going into blue or searching maxx c. Mutamorphing an instant neos fusion into kashtira unicorn seems busted as heck.
I just tried it... I can say for sure that it's 100% ban worthy. Almost doubling your counterplay power is crazy powerful. It was like playing 6 Maxx "C" And with the powerful consistency of Spright is very powerful. The fact that I could splash it so easily is even better. Super super broken.
yes! its very strong! It also serves as additional copies of sprite blue, red, carrot, jet .etc whatever you need! and if you have everything you want just get a ipirea for a draw 1 or something after thinning your deck so it pays for itself. There is alot of UNDISCOVERED potential with this card.
Ok, came back with some testing in bystial runick. You can start with muta + geri into lv4 tuner. Stardust synchrony, quem or Cartesia. Then make tri edge or lv10 synchro, then if you still have cards fetch the field spell. Also I play assault synchron so I can tribute Hugin + bystial = lv10 synchro
Honestly, that is a great video idea. Because that's the kind of card that deserves to be highlighted that doesn't get much love either. I have to experiment more with that one and I will report back :D Seems up my alley :)
you could fit thus into any deck that runs Runick extra deck, Runick has level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9 fusions on tap. mutamorph into fur hires, VS, Swordsoul starter idk
Yes! I find Runick to be one of the best combos for mutamorphosis. There are other decks that can consistantly put out synchros or fusions as well that MM would be good in too.
superpoly alone isn't enough. if you ran superpoly at 3 there is only a 33% chance to see it in your hand going first which means when you have mutamorphosis in hand your MORE likely that its a dead card. Unless your VS can consistently make a synchro like Chaos angel or something then its probably not worth unless you combine with more fusion related engines.

Yo this generaider support. I love that deck but usually stay away cause of maxx c. Summon lvl 9 RunicK hit it with morph and pop off. Or get maxx c’d, chain RunicK summon lvl 9. New chain hit RunicK with morph, summon field spell searcher, they draw one. Pass with Omni next turn.
Generaiders is one of my favorite decks. They have such great artwork and I am facinated with the Norse lore. Odin & Jormungundr are my favorite in the Norse Mythology. Not many know that Harr = Odin's Original Norse Name. Loptr = Loki too! Just some fun and neat stuff in that archtype!

Still early in the vid but what happens if the card that should return to the hand on the end phase somehow gets shuffled back to the deck or banished face down?
If the card gets removed from the field either by shuffling or banished it will Not return to hand. It's the same thing if you use it as material and send it to the GY for most uses it will Not go back to hand. The only time it goes back to hand is if you leave it summoned face up and don't do anything to it.
I tried it there was a couple of things I didn't like. The runick being a LIGHT level 9 meant that I couldn't summon Mardell off of World Legacy Monstrosity if i had that in my hand. The runick field spell competes with generaiders for the important field slot. If you already used mardell then there isn't really a crazy card to get off of mutamorphosis besides mabye Vera or the early Harr. I need to try it more tho because i only gave it a couple builds and still need to get the numbers right because there is something there for sure.
@@JessePerezStrategyGaming I think that the best way to play that deck is to focus more on the generator part, most of the builds that I have seen don't even run fountain they just use the runic cards as instant fusion for a lvl 9 extender to make XYZ places and now with that new card they become starters

Anything where a syncrho or fusion is part of thier main 85% consistancy combo that they can do But don't end on their main fusions/synchros. For example, Heros, Flame swordsman, branded, mannadium, etc. They could have good success in some of these. Compare this to decks that WANT to go into fusions/synchros but its their end goal or they want to end on their effects like gate guardians, swordsoul, speedroids, ghoti etc. Those are examples of decks where it WONT work.
Not exactly related to the theme of the video, but I'm curious so I'm gonna ask. "How many engines/archetypes are too much for a deck?" Currently I'm playing, and I'm not kidding, Nekroz Dogmatika Impcantation WITH the Illusion of Chaos engine, AND Diviner of the Herald + Benten TO summon Lo (voiceless). This sounds like an absolute nightmare, but it is surprisingly consistent somehow. Like, I'm pretty sure this is way over what a normal/good deck should be, but it works?
If the engines have synergy with each other then that's fine. Stuffing the deck with engines can give it gas playing second and more options and endboards going 1st. The downside is there is less room for individual tech cards - boardbreakers - handtraps. Ect. So it's a good balance give and take and finding the right ratios where you slowly add and take out 1 or 2 cards at a time seems to work for me. Nothing wrong with multiple engines though. I have a deck that's horus, diabellstar, truesungod, adventure. I love it. They all go good together because they all facilitate DISCARDS so there is synergy with the 4 archtypes.
That would make it insanely op as now we could summon FLOODGATES. For example, barrier statutes on the enemys turn. Which is why the condition to return to hand at the end of the turn is in a great one otherwise it would be floodgate turbo.
This, Shadow's Light, and the other counterpart are scary cards. Im not the man to experiment. If the Pros werent so in the tunnel these cards would probably be banned
That's a wild take, did you not see the new kash fiendsmith list pros are using, these cards haven't found their deck yet or perhaps the era of two card combos is gone
@prohobbyist5872 Im working off the understanding that time moves very fast and pros look for experiency. They aren't going to sit down and fiddle around with complex tech cards like them. If it was like Edison or GOAT where time is frozen and you can "solve formats". And I would also add that, if not, they are future spectre cards. One day a card or cards will make them busted

The handtrap portion of the effect is not to be underestimated! Countless opponent resigns after Maxx C was added back into the hand!
