My son is a professional security tech, he said your camera has a glitch and it needs to be replaced. There is no way it shouldn’t have picked up your daughters movements. Call the company and have it replaced.
I was going to say similar except i don't work for a security co.
As soon as you said "the camera didn't pick up Rey when she came down." I was like "OH HECK NO, that's a problem."
@@hermithag me too. Not good!
I agree! My husband actually hates wifi cameras, because of lack of privacy...he likes wired stuff, also for radiation inside the home.
Leaves a person vulnerable to wire cutting, of course.
Def, get different cameras or system 👍
@Eidolon Research that's a great idea to switch camera around. I think your response will be very helpful to them.
I definitely agree that the cameras are of such a quality that regular movement is not being picked up... Needs replaced...
Night vision mode on camera's (Infra-red sorta) picks up just about any light source or reflection. If one of your devices has even the smallest indicator light flashing (like its charging), the camera will pick it up and it will look much brighter than it actually is. One of our outdoor camera's was picking up what looked like a bright light on in the garage, but every-time I went out there, nothing was on. Turns out it was picking up a reflection off of one of the tractors rear reflectors through the garage window and bouncing it back.
This was my thought too, doesn’t look like the light is flashing in their room, looks like a reflection from something else across from their room. Maybe try shutting the door and see if you can still see it in the camera?
Maybe something in the kitchen?
That's what my husband said about the night vision. He said swap the cameras around, like ones down stairs up, run on same settings, and see if it still shows up.. Is there a laptop down, near where it's flashing, or on the appliances that's telling you, batteries need changes..etc.
Yes, I agree. It's the night vision on the camera itself. Not actual flashes of light in your room.
The
if you use wireless charging it dis connects and re connects about every 15 min to avoid overheating turning on the screen briefly...
I could see that my phone even though it's not wireless when it's charging if it starts to overheat the screen lights up and says charging is being discontinued due to overheating.
Agree nothing weird going on just the charger. Check the movement sensitivity on the camera settings or the area that it is supposed too. Blessings
I was going to say the exact same thing @stivershomestead it is the charger and the I.R. light from the security camera, we changed to wyze cameras and haven't had any issues
My wireless charger does the disconnect and reconnect like that as well causing my screen to turn on, but not the way yours did, mine never looks like a flashing or strobing disco light.
You should see if you have notifications set up with lights! When my phone rings, it lights up the room just like that. But it's in your settings!. As far as the camera totally missing your daughter... You need that replaced!
I don't know what's going on but I can sure tell you one thing..there's never a dual moment at the Stivers Homestead..lol
@@NickRichards7Ya.. its okay..animated crap can type whatever it wants..I'm sure you still get the point..lol
I'd check the outlet, may be worn out. My phone will do that...start charge, stop charge. Or maybe lose connection with cord and phone. What concerns me more is you said the security system didn't pick up your daughters movements.
They don't aways, it go into like slow mode type of thing..
It looks like Jens phone is flashing too just not as much or as bright. I would try having both phones out of the room to see if it is the phones or something else.
Or else somewhere else in the room.
I agree. Take all lights and electrical charging devices, including phones out of the room. Charge your phones somewhere else in the house and see if the flashing is still in your room, or where your phones are.
Ok. Variation on a common theme. Put your phones to charge in another room, BUT put them where another indoor camera will catch it to pick up potential flashes. Check your camera spec sheet that it came withto see what types of light it picks up. They very well may say that it picks up portions of the spectrum that aren't human-eye visible.
All of our devices phones and iPad turn on at night. I always wake take note that it is the phone etc and go back to sleep until it does it again. I'd be very concerned about not picking up your daughters movements. Perhaps put her to bed in your room and you have hers for a few hours then return to yours and see if it picks up adult movement. Not at all secure if it doesn't. Good luck hope it gets sorted for you all.
You might want to do a clearing and smudging with sage to clear anything unwanted from your home left from prior owners. Especially since you have had your goats gone so soon after you moved in. Have faith and just clear your home and protection on your property. Blessings to you.
call the security camera company, you may have a faulty system since the cqamera did not alert when your daughter
came into your room. God Bless.!
It’s the disco strobe light mounted over your bed.
Try moving your cellphones out of the bedroom tonight & then see if the camera still picks up the flashing light. My guess would be that it's from your cellphones. Y'all should get some emf protection sleeve covers for your phones, I got one on Amazon for my phone.
It is Not a good idea to sleep with your phone by your head. Emfs will interfere with deep sleep among other things.
That is so weird. Especially not catching Raelynn come to the room.
if she came in while the lights were flashing, it may have created a strobe light effect and you therefore just didn't see her come in. ? That is my first thought anyway.
I couldn't help but notice the Wild at Heart book on your nightstand, it is a great book! I have enjoyed the ministry that John and Stasi Eldridge have. Good stuff!! ❤
ooooh my god that is so scaaary to me I am glad you guys aren't feeling afraid. I got goosebumps RIGHT AWAY when that started. good luck.
My Lighting Guy husband says it is graticule from the infra red on the camera. You know because of the square shape of the light that it is internal in the camera. The infrared lights are on a sequence to pick up motion and outside light sources.
Crazy! I agree with faulty security camera. After you get a replacement check to see if it happens again and keep us informed.
This looks just like the flash in my room at night from my wireless. router's receiver.
That is just WAY weird. If you believe in ghosts or the paranormal (I don't) you might ask the people you bought the house from if anything weird like this had ever happened to them.
Have a blessed day.
Looks like an Infra Red light source, likely the phone. My cameras pick up lots of things emitting ir light at night, though they are all outdoors or in the chicken coops. Things like tv remotes also source ir light.
Your daughter didn't show up in the motion detection, while the flashing light did. I'd look closely at the motion detection settings. Contrast, object size, and sensitivity can all have a significant impact on what a motion sensor picks up and records.
Great cliff hanger, bread crumbs trail ti Monday night lives!!!
YES, Clear to understand (I knew in only 3 flashes what it is,...) Your camera is in a 'night mode' which means it is sensitive to infrared light (which we cannot see, but it can) ... Your phone, (and Remotes controls etc) have an IR Emitters (A good phone, can change TV channels etc.l What phone do uou have? It seems to be 'focusing the camera'. Perhaps you have an app in active nemory or? But yeah, IR, Phone, Emmiters, that sort of thing,..
That's BRIGHT. No way you wouldn't see that and wake up! I wonder if it is something to do with the phones like others have said.
I say call the security camera tech support and explain what happened in the general area of your cell phone charging and also that it didn't pick Raelynn up on video to see if this has been reported before? Perhaps you can even send a couple of the clips of video to them for analyzing. Odd for sure. If the camera magnifies the light from the charging station of your phone they should know that? Why not pick up Raelynn clearly on the steps coming down and you all getting up. Makes no sense to me.
Maybe the cameras need a firmware update?
So dang weird that it DIDN'T pick up y'all or Raelynn.
Ok, it was the security cameras signalling with your phone. I don't know the technical term for it. But if you watch any video of Roots and Refuge's kitchen videos, Jess's stove flashes and flares like that. Over the digital pad on her oven. (I know you all watch their videos too). Now, my hubby says it's the frame rate of the surveillance camera is different from the cell phone, and the cell phone's cameras frequency picked it up. You can't see it with your eyes, because human eyesight is at a difference frequency.
It sure is freaky, but it's just technology.
Revolution per minute? Like videoing a tv screen?
@@noahsark1962 something like that yes, video footage is actually a series of still photos that run at a particular rate of movement (the frame rate) that our eyes see as seamless movements, and that frame rate difference can seem like digital flashes especially in a darkened room
Actually, security cameras have a hard time seeing fast flashes due to the refresh/sync rates.
That is just weird !!! May God Bless You , Protect You & Keep y'all Safe...🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✌🏽
Looks like your phone is trying to read your face for face recognition. We see the flashes on night vision cams when we are outside with our phones pointed toward our faces. The flashing lights are not visible to the human eye and only caught on night vision cams.Try turning your phone away from you to where it looks parallel to your bed and not facing it. This may help.
Try an experiment when yall go to bed. Have it turned toward you for a bit and watch for the flashes, then turn them away from you. Flashes should stop as they can not read your face.
How cool was that! I am fascinated when things like that happen.
I have the same cameras!!! It’s your front phone camera looking for you!! I was just playing with the cameras one day and I saw myself in bed in the dark and my phone was flashing in my face and I couldn’t see it with my own eyes. The camera saw it tho!
I had notifications coming in all night long. I would check that. As well as the outlet. In an older home there could be a short. We use WYZE cameras, love them and had no problems.
It mightve been trying to adjust the contrast of the lowlight white noise maker/ if it's a screen display behind the white noise maker its definitely the frame rate of the security camera vs it lol. Like when you film a computer screen and it flashes
Yeah maybe sleep without light and see......then again with light.....id experiment
if you have notifications turned on with your mobile phone it will flash with updates, such as texts, messages, Facebook, RUclips, etc. mine does this
Dads phone fb msgs all nite like that. I didn't notice til i slept on couch one nite. They're watching! Lol.
It definitely looks bright. Something electrical.
I've been wondering where your third and largest Bigfoot has gone ?? 🙈🙉🙊
Smoke or other detctors, smart fridge discussing dinner plans with smart stove. Smiling.
So I work for a security camera company. The light from your electronics could affect the IRs (which is the type of light that turns on in low light settings so you can still see the image at night). The flickering you are seeing is most likely tied to the FPS (frames per second) that you have the camera recording.
But I would still call their tech support because it should have picked up your daughter. Hope this helps!
Get your house blessed! If you have earthbound spirits, y'all will have trouble with electronics, water heater, plumbing, appliances, etc. It also will begin to affect your health and your children's health ... headaches, fatigue, ear aches, tummy trouble, depression, etc. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not, but getting an ordained minister to bless your house is a good idea anyway. Praying for y'all! God bless you guys!
The light is definitely fladhing because it is even shining on the walls around the doorway. I sae movement upstaira as well before the flashing started. God bless!
It’s a remote control, possible TV. They emit an invisible infrared signal that looks very similar. Or something else in the area that can send IR signals. Cells can send IR signals. Most security cameras are night vision compatible and are able to see the IR signals. The fact that it was every 15 minutes could be related to some sort of a timer on one of your devices.
My husband says it's time to call ghost busters!!💢 👻💫👽💥💨.. 😆
your phones are next to your bed, i see flashes on both side of the bed . My I phone use to flash at night when there was a amber alert. was there a amber alert at your old place of residents! Or check to see if you have alarm set up on your phone.
and welcome to south eastern Kentucky
What the heck?! Hahah that’s like strobing yall! I think it could just be weird frequencies from your phone light in combination with the night mode, because y’all would have noticed that when you were sleeping.
Yes, I've seen a video where the security camera caught some lights not flashing, but about three independent lights moving around living room. The guy was awake when seeing it in his camera, but when he walked into the living room, he would not see the lights that were showing in his camera. So, yes, this happens for some reason. I think I saw this in the News.
I used to have a phone that sat on that kind of charger that would flash constantly all night long. I would have to cover it up, because it would wake us up a lot.
It’s the TV people from poltergeist. Lol! Probably something with the camera.
My husband suggested it is infrared light from a remote or wireless device if some kind. That may explain why you can’t see it with your eyes & it is very bright on your camera.
That's Crazy .. Check on all the technical stuff.. If Not Get A Bunch Of Sage And Sage The House.. Much Love
Radio frequencies pulse. WiFi, even just a cell phone pulses. Tonight try putting your cell phone in a Faraday cage or the microwave oven if you have one (don't turn the microwave on of course. If you have a WiFi router in your home turn it off. Just my theory.
Have no idea. May God continue to bless you and keep you safe. Have a blessed day.❤️🙏❤️🌈
1.Reminds me of the blinking toys like the necklases or braclets or head gear that you can get that blink like this or even a musical stuffed toy or something . Maybe your little girl brought it down with her when she came down. Check your floor or under your bed for something like that too. 2. Smoke alarm built into the wall act this way with low battery. Looks like a vent or speaker! Good luck..❤❤
You can't see it with your naked eye because what the camera is picking up is infrared. If that flashing object is near where you sleep, get it away.
I'm going to say, Aliens. Aliens are always the first port of call in these situations.
I have no idea what is causing the flashing lights. Several folks seem to think it’s an iPhone scanning for your face. I ALWAYS cover my cameras when not in use. I use the little circular Velcro double sided sticky thingies. See I’m not technical at all! Haha. Never noticed anything odd on my cameras or videos either. How do you use a video anyway? 🤣😂 Just kidding. Good luck! Keep us posted.
I have the ‘strobe’ light set ‘on’ on my iPhone 📱. So when the sound is turned off, it will flash a bright strobe for rings and notifications.
Okay so while you are getting technical assistance, it wouldn’t hurt to bless any remaining spirits and politely ask them to leave. I have done this and most of the time it works. You could also sage your house after.
If your phone or charger has any kinds of IR the camera will pick it up when the eye can’t. I work for a telecommunications/cable company and we sometimes use our cellphone camera to troubleshoot the remote controls because the eye can’t see the IR but the camera will show it.
You guys were knocked out! And your camera 📷 has a glitch ,maybe on it's last leg, it was trying it's best but couldn't complete the task, 😊👍💕💕💕
Lots of good recommendations in the comments. Troubleshooting different lighting and devices, calling the company, etc. My first thought, was that it was infrared light. If the camera picked up those lights, but not movement, I would wonder if the camera is having power supply issues, or it needs to have settings or sensors tweaked.
If it was every 15 minutes on the dot, I'd think it was technical. Neither humans nor spirits are that precise for that long.
I have that brand of camera too and have never seen anything like that. If you have more than one, I would switch them out and make sure it's not a defect in the camera itself.
lil strange.. ha crazy crazy
It's the ir blaster from your phone first check if your phone has one goggle how to perform this task and if you do your able to change the channel on the tv lucky you comes Handy you might be able to disable it!
Does any of your christmas lights or house lights have Wi-Fi capability? Maybe when the camera kicks on for motion it is interfering with another device?
Could it be notifications on your phone lighting it up?
My guess is that your phone blinks each time you get a notification, maybe check your phone settings.hope this helps
My outdoor camera picks up my outdoor solar light flashing if the porch light is on, and it picks up odd flashes all night long, I think might be animal eyes...no idea.
Yikes! Very strange. Are you going to record again to see if it was just a one time thing? Best of luck to you guys. ♥️
I would stop charging my phones at night. I would call the place where you got the cameras and tell them that the camera didn't pick up Raelyn coming into your room, Replace that camera.
I love reading all of the technical aspects of this situation! So interesting! GOD bless
Its the government! Hacking your camera on your phone, taking pictures and listening to you sleep! 😳😳😳🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe move your phone to be charged on opposite side of room, set cameras again and see if it happens again. If it does - RUN!! lol... love yall❤
I agree with the person who said it's the light from your phone(s) .. like when you try to film a computer screen. All the ghost mongering is silly. Simply put your phones elsewhere. ( theoretically they shouldn't be by your beds when you sleep anyway) or power them clear off at night and my guess is that the flashing lights will disappear.
Agree or not , spiritual things are not silly !
@@kathygarber9407 I apologize. I guess I tend to think of ghosts in terms of fantasy as opposed to the possibility of them being real. I didn't mean to take lightly what some others might believe. My bad.
@@darlenesgardenandhome No need to apologize , but I do appreciate it . Most people don’t respond at all!
I would go ahead and sage the house just in case! Too freaky! Praying for your safety! Love yall 💓! From Montgomery al
My outside security cameras pick up the trail cam's infrared in the woods behind our property. So when the infrared turns on (per movement) the security cameras shows that whole area lit up but the human eye doesn't see that.
I’m a senior and not informed about hi tech stuff. But maybe you should check into a Lance Shuttler EMF. I think maybe your cellphone(s) might be on the same frequency as your security cameras. It may not have anything to do with this at all. Hope this might give you some ease on your problem.
So we watched this video when you first posted it. So last night my daughter and I were sitting on the porch. We have security cameras inside and outside and hooked up to a TV screen. My husband came outside and said to my daughter, your phone is flashing like yours in the video. He could see it on the camera TV. It never flashed while we were outside. Phone sitting rite in front of us. We saw nothing. But the camera picked it up. So I just went back to find this video to show her. It's exactly what yours was doing.
I'm thinking sneaky goats doing some payback for their wild escape/take town run. Them goats are good siding climbers 😉🐐🙃
Maybe your cell phones are transmitting info at night. Try putting the phones in the other room tonight and then see if that happens 👍🏽
Since seeing your missing goat video I for sure would want to pray over the home if it was mine. Even if it comes out that it was no big deal, I still would want the blood of Jesus Christ over my home. God bless. 🙏🤗
"spirits" around------why they only "flash" at night!!!! omg
I pray over my home, animals, garden and land multiple times a day. I thank God for His protection and pray against anything meaning harm- physically and spiritually.
That's what I've always heard is when you move into a new home bless your house. Walk around pray over at Anointed with oil ask God to just cover all your doorways and ask God to replace anything that was in that home with his goodness because you don't know if the people who live there before what they believed in and what could have been brought into that house. Clean your house with God
Burn some sage in your home, outbuildings etc. Cleanses the areas and your body.
Yeah Elaine , I'm going to have to agree with you. The lights were going off around them...im not a tech but don't see the connection with the camera. Im new to this channel, is it correct they just moved here? I'd do a history on the home.
I know I have to sit my phone upside down or the flashes from notifications wake me up. That being said, they don't flash. Unless the first one is a notification from Facebook and the next is your security with multiple flashes, I'm at a loss. Your daughter may have been below the level of the camera.
Yay! I get to see the Sasquatch, that I love & want a set of for myself! lol
Just watched your most recent videos they were very heart felt warm and wholesome truly i know what u mean about your goat's we to have goat's we were also new to a community and above all cherished our privacy and didn't know anyone in the immediate area it started with our goats missing then a very expensive dog went missing then home furnishings came up missing we too noticed strange things going on around our homestead we also called police the good thing is u found your goat's we only found one of ours at what we thought was our new neighbors locked in a pen collar and all when u said it almost feels malicious it was someone has a connection to your new homestead mabe use to live there or belonged to a family member in the area we to experienced complete strangers riding up on our property and were not use to that someone even offered to buy our place . come to findout later they use to hunt on this land so there's probably someone who knows your property better than u that's how the goat's disappeared without a trace not trying to scare u but share a similar experience with u . we fenced in our entire property and put our own security camera system in never use a company that has more control than u when it comes to safety and security of the family now it's just cars riding by but very loud cars and trucks we also have dog's to protect our property if somthing feels off it is count on it there's a sickness in the land of America my prayer's and thoughts are with u . thank you for the videos so happy the goats are home .
Is there a smoke detector in the hall right as you get to the bottom of the stairs? Our smoke detector flashes every 15 minutes in our house, and I noticed when I slowed the video down that there is a light source shining on the ceiling at the bottom of the stairs, kind of to the left of the screen. If that is flashing it could be enough light to show a flash in your camera. Knowing that the system didn't see Raelynn come down the stairs though, that would make me contact the company that I bought from and ask for some trouble shooting tips.
That’s a pretty bright flash for a phone... I’d talk to the sellers and see if the house has any history
Interesting and not surprised.
Have youse looked at the footage frame by frame to see what's to be seen? Is there a coralation of times to texts/notifications coming in on either phone plugged into that circuit?
So many interesting questions. Cant wait to hear and watch how this is going to progress.
🖖☮❣🌱🌱🌱🇨🇦🧙♀️
The flash on the phone when messages or notifications come in. My kids phone does it with snapchat notifications or a group chat when any member comments.
Picking up light on infrared. Cell phone radiation. They send signals out whenever they are on, constantly searching for a tower, or often doing so. Light pulse isn't on a wavelenght that we can see in, but the camera does.
What you see is probably infrared LEDs in your phone. Works just like your tv remote control. Put one phone in camera mode and observe the other phone and see if you see the flashing lights.
Very weird. I have no explanation for that. The flashes aren't even consistent with the regularity of a digital clock (like the small phone display some people have). They're irregular... It kind of looks like data (your phone handshake with the cell tower keeping sync & location), which I didn't think was visible (it isn't to the human eye), but maybe it is to the digital camera?
Edit: Your phone charger is also wireless, so that signal is also going through the air.
Google tells me our digital cameras CAN pick up Infrared signals, like from a remote control or a usb dongle. So, I think it might be something like this.
Yes that’s what I was thinking. The handshake. I had an iPhone docking clock radio many years ago and it was completely useless as about every 15 minutes I would hear the handshake. Makes sense that what was audible then could be visible now with wireless tech.
My guess is a glitchy camera or that it for some reason picks up heat (but it’s unlikely that). Change the camera or the whole syste (we had do that because it recorded a lot movement that didn’t exist👻) as Painted Stone Cottage also wrote.
I seen some movement in the video also. But I would have your electric checked out to be on the safe size.
I agree with many saying it's the camera communicating with your cellphone. The fact it didn't pick up your daughter is worrisome. Wonder if the away settings are different from the home settings. I would call the security company, or maybe you can check the settings for home and away. Good luck!
Do you have a notification light on your phone? I had one on past phones and they are pretty bright in a dark room. Could be the notifications on your phone from your camera alerts, emails, facebook, etc.
My phone was going nuts last night. It lights up for a few seconds when I get a notification. This could be the reason for the camera activation, but since the light was on the peripheral of its range you may have ended up where it does the weird flashing thing, like when you have a dash cam and it makes the traffic lights look like they are flashing even though they are solid. You could check this simply by turning off all the lights, turn on the phone screen (maybe a couple angles) then check the camera.
That’s very spooky. 😁 Cheryl and Mr James
Zach and Jen, I think if the security camera didn't pick up Raelynn when she came to your room the camera probably is defective. And the flashing light maybe your phone going on and off or the charging cycle of your phone. May need to replace your wall plug or the adapter or the cord or all three. Hope it all works out take care stay safe. And God bless y'all.
So there's a problem...there is a dark shape at the top of the entrance that moves between all three clips. I have nothing to offer on that besides a salt perimeter and having a blessing done on the house....
That’s what I was looking at also in the first clip if u look at the room straight ahead something seems to be standing in the doorway and slowly moves into the room.
Are you sure that’s not the light machine? Even if we’re talking about paranormal type activities flashing lights aren’t much to worry about in my opinion.
I think that might be her back but I'm honestly not sure. I do see it.
At the top of the stairs..the door...there is a lot of movement and I see it on all the frames too.... I'm not sure if it's bad camera quality/photo quality but it looks like something ethereal/wispy movements...and a haze? All the time at the top of the stairs..you can see it as well when the camera doesn't show the full door upstairs... the lights in your bedroom seem very rapid and bright... I would guess that most people would wake up with that much light flashing in the dark..best of luck :)
I would pray around your property and pray over your house and anoint your house your doorways your closets. You just never know over the many years of people living in that home what has happened. I know of a family that bought a house in there baby wouldn't sleep in a room so then our Pastor said turn on some Christian music in the bedroom and let it play so they did that for 2 days to put the baby back in the room and it slept just fine
Wow so it was probably a very dim light that the camera picked up more strongly because of how dark it was otherwise, most likely a phone or other electronic device blinking for updates or notifications. lol I'm pretty sure if you had such a strong strobe light effect going on with any real lighting it would have woken you up. Kind of fun though to have caught it on camera.
That was freaky lookin'! I had to go to the next video to see just what it was!
I have a motion detector night light set up in my bathroom that turns on throughout the night for unknown reasons. I moved the light back a few inches and it stopped. This could have been a Halloween vlog where everyone could puts in creepy or unexplained things that happen during the night at their houses. A bit weird for sure!
The gate on the right moves more into the view. It's not much but it does. Or your camera is getting moved slightly.
So before I throw "spirits" out there, make sure there isn't some sort of fire or smoke detector that needs batteries replaced (simple but first thought). Double check your phone settings - I think there is a setting to set of lights with alarm. It is not camera equipment or it wouldn't be isolated to the room. It is either something in the room or "otherwise". Even if it is "otherwise", they have to use something to generate the energy for light, i.e., phone, camera, tv (which you said you didn't have), etc...What about a warning from all of your new camera equipment? Could it be sending notifications that you didn't set up to your phone?
It really looks like a smoke or carbon monoxide detector flashing.....Just by the rhythm of the flashes.
If you remember right, he said he removed the batteries' from 2 thing's above his bed for her facial thingy she needed them for, maybe that's what it was flashing for, cause he took the batteries out ?
Your cell phones. Does it also. I have ADT. Cameras throughout home. So cams register little on and off light on charge phone. If left on. Little red lights from fire alarms. Any thing plugged in shows up.
WOW...WATCHING THIS MORE THAN ONCE
It looks as if the camera is definitely picking up the cell phone signals and it shows up very bright to the camera.
