How can I get to this village from America and can you live there what are the prices

I went to Costa Rica with an American Airlines flight from Miami, after a flight from Europe. Surely other flights.
To go there, I took a boat from the hotel. I really advise to rent a car when in Costa Rica, but to access here you it was by boat.
You can live there as there are some people living here, but no idea for the prices.

The people are beautiful, but the food prices is too expensive. Not much to see. There’s dogs everywhere begging for food.

My experience was not the same as I had not this dogs issue. However, I confirm that food is quite expensive in Costa Rice and the quality price ratio is quite bad except maybe in the Caribbean Coast of the country.
