I'm wearing exactly this 40mm pioneer CS but on a factory steel-bracelet. Yes - they have made a few ones which are available only on request. Perfect every-day-rockker. I can only recommend Moser. Love the brand!
Got it from the Blue B, yes. Depending on your portfolio with the AD, there is always a possibility to get a discount these days. Sure - with the bracelet you got to dig down your pocket a bit. But it really is an everyday watch and everytime I check my wrist, it really sparks joy. All in all - worth every penny.
well, now that basic IWCs are pushing into the $12-14,000 base level. (Inginieur comes to mind), this watch does not seem over-priced. What entices me is: They made it thin...they gave it Water resistance that is actually usable...they gave it Lume...and they made it in a classic diameter..... I say, "Bullseye".
@thedaveaftertomorrow I agree, to me it looks and feels like a watch designed by a commitee. The design seems bland and certainly not worth the price they are asking. Sub $4k, perhaps.
I tired the 42.3 mm version with the red dial on a few weeks ago in Vegas. If it had a crystal and thickness similar to this one it would be part of my collection. I’m hoping the red dial makes it to this 40mm version, I fell in love with that dial. Great video as always!
You are SPOT ON with the 36 mm Explorer, larger ut becomes a show off,oh look at this ,look what I got,in London it s a bad idea, nice and humble, aahhhh.just right .
36mm is way too small for average-to-large wrists in current modern sensibilities. I’m currently wearing a 37mm watch and it’s nice but a bit small even after wearing it for months.
Thanks for the review Evan. I've been seriously considering the Swiss mad red. Despite the bigger size I'm so drawn to it. This 40 mm is real nice but can't get my eyes off the fume red dial. Cheers
I had the 40mm on my wrist at Swiss Watch Days. Some watches photograph better than they look. This one photographs well and looks even better in person. That dial is spectacular and Moser has priced it well. I’m very close to “pulling the trigger”!
Can only recommend to buy it. As written in another comment, I'm wearing it on a factory steel bracelet. Ask your reatailer or get in touch with Moser directly it looks and feels great.
If I had Duck Tales money, I'd forget the holy trinity and go straight to Moser. They're traditional and fresh, serious and funny, finely crafted and not cluttered.
That's the fantastic thing about Moser watches, they are every bit as stunning mms from the sapphire surface as you thought they were going to be from 20 m away. I do prefer the leaf hand style: instant favourite.
I’ve never loved either handset on the Pioneers. The leaf hands on the one you reviewed just seem too classical, whimsical and fancy for what feels like a modern sport casual watch.
I don’t like watches that seem like they don’t have a logo but this looks incredible!! Very under the radar and really only someone who knows watches will notice.
That’s really beautiful. And I absolutely agree the new size seems to be better proportioned. Not many ‘sports’ watches out there this elegant this capable this robustly made for this price. I couldn’t see from the shots but is the crystal still heavily domed? Regarding the logo this is the way to do it. I can’t think of a better logo
Thank goodness they finally have a smaller size. Size is the only thing that was holding me back from buying one. Besides the price, of course... In all seriousness, H Moser produce some awesome looking watches. If I ever win the lottery, it's likely that I'll be buying one. Fingers crossed.
You can make it a challenge. Set a date (say 5 years from today) and then make it a challenge to put away $8 per day. That should get you well over $10k and then you can buy yourself an awesome watch😎
Nice sure but why spend all that extra when there's a wide choice of JLC (true nobility) for way less? I can assure you no screws will start popping out on their movements.
Shocking to see that loose screw. That screw falling out could seriously damage the movement. I’d assume that press demo watch would go through a stringent QC before sending out to be scrutinized.
Your videos are great. But your wit is even better. Keep it up! My wife assures me that 120m of water resistance is more than enough for her. It gets the job done. Right???
On the topic of lunar distance, according to the Internet, it would take 3,840,000,000,000 dollar bills stacked to reach the Moon from Earth. Viewed this way, the 14,200 dollar cost hardly seems astronomical for this watch.
Yet another 10/10 video production. But I have to be honest, without that dial colour, it'd be the most boring Ali Express looking watch I've ever seen. Nothing about it looks refined except the logo which you can barely see, and no one knows Moser
It's understated but certainly not unrefined. Especially inside. And you'll get far more respect from watch enthusiasts if you wear a Moser rather than a Rolex.
Now I'm just wondering when the power tool war is going to start in the comments because you have a Makita. I'm also wondering what the crossover is between power tool fanatics and watch nerds.
Well, it’ll technically move a portion of your net worth from something useless like investments or saving to something really worthwhile like a luxury watch.

how much was the bracelet if you don’t mind me asking. Ive been into the brand but have held off because i prefer steel bracelets
Must have been around 1.5k CHF. Ask for Art. No. 19376.
@@MrTinuGBucherer ? I am currently prospecting this model but feels like a bit cheap with rubber strap at this price

I can't get over IWC pricing, totally ridiculous, way overpriced especially in today's market.
I’d have this over the IWC any day of the week, the Inginieur just feels like a monumental price gouge
@thedaveaftertomorrow I agree, to me it looks and feels like a watch designed by a commitee. The design seems bland and certainly not worth the price they are asking. Sub $4k, perhaps.
It really isn’t thin, though. It’s thicker than a submariner.
@golfinguru11 ...I think IWC cane too late to the integrated bracelet trend, it's over priced compared to other competitors.
Been drooling over that dial for over a year now. This 40mm just perfects it.
You're seriously becoming Ryan Reynolds of the watch youtubers!!
Always funny, entertaining and never disappoints!!
Thanks so much, buddy. Love your stuff.
I would of said deadpool but I suppose they are similar 😂
Impeccable editing. Absolutely stunning watch
I think the logo is done very cleverly and classy
Another amazing video. It’s the wit that always gets me. A watch channel for people who enjoy smart entertainment.
Nobody review watches like you.
you are a legend, good sir.

I finished the vid just by staring at the watch. Nicely done! Some watch reviewers show their faces more than the watch.

Sorta spit out my drink when you offered to tighten that screw down with your Makita impact gun 😂
I promise to be careful.

Yes please, I’m in the market for the new one.
Love this watch. Second favorite Moser to the green dragon for me.

I tried that exact skeleton tourby on in Vegas. Amazing!
That dial is 😍
5:08 - is one of the rotor screws backing out?
Moser watches really are something else.
The "yehh" in the first few seconds is awesome, please tell me that was you! 😆
I’ve been put off by a lot of Moser’s output in the last few years, but this looks like a great course correct.
Dido on the explorer 1 at 36mm and I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist so yeah you do you brother man.
1:09 - you may be right about the explorer 1
For me

Oozes quality🎉🎉. Happy Crimbo
The Govberg limited was the first 40mm Pioneer. It answers some issues you have with this one.

My next watch!
i love moser watches

Evan: 4.63^(-10)

Evan: Lunar Distances, babe.
Regularly entertaining. I enjoy our videos a lot. Nice watch too but a little out of my budget.

That’s as beautiful as blue gets. Wow
Entertaining video as always. Beautiful dial. But too thick for a time only watch from an HH aspirational brand. And screws backing out... Oof.
14K for a three-hander lacking hand-finishing is a bit steep, but I really like this watch. Love the engraved logo on the dial

A beautiful watch, and certainly affordable for what it is, but way beyond what I consider affordable. Gorgeous.
Ansolutely insane how much this thing costs

its a thing of beauty, but out of the price range,...... for me :- (
The grail watch I'll never have.
I think matte markers would work better. The polished markers are too much.
I like the 40mm size but I prefer the more dramatically domed crystal on the 43mm version. Tough Decisions.
