Hi Captain Leon, As always an informative and entertaining review of some center console boats. Price difference between the boats is incredible. Keep up the great work.
great review of a great boat! definitely top choice for LI fishing. I like the 21 footer also . With a Tacoma, it may be a little easier to tow around the 21. what do you tow with and what would you need to tow this great center console? Thanks for another great video!
Thanks for watching. Sure is a great boat. I don't own one, still having fun with my 19ft. Yamaha. I do tow with a Durango that is V8 Hemi powered, I'm sure that would pull that 25ft. no problem.
Cap Leon you do such a good job on videos. I have owned two Yamaha jets boats an AR 210 and twin engine 212X. Just waiting for my new Sea doo switch cruise 21 ft 230 hp. Keep up good work. Are you getting a Yamaha center console? Made for you
Great video, thanks! I am in Suffolk as well (Holbrook). What Yamaha dealer do you like to use ? I am thinking about a SX190 or SX195. Looks like it is only CrossBay or Mariners Cove. Let's see how much over MSRP and crazy prep fees they are asking for this year...
Hey Eric, thanks for watching. You're right those are the two dealers here on Long Island. There is also a dealer in CT. just about a 45 minute ride from the ferry terminal in Bridgeport. They are called G&R marine I believe. Shop them all. There have been complaints regarding our Long Island Dealers. I'm the original owner of an SX190 for 8 years now, simply love it. The high burn of premium fuel was my concerns with the 195. Check out my YT channel which covers so much about these boats. Good luck.
Hello Captain Leon, Great video, very informative. I am going to look into getting that boat with the 500hp option. Do you know about the availability of them and are they offering any incentives at the Boat Show?
These fish models have been intriguing me for sure. You may have me considering the 25 footer over the 21 footer. We have a 212 Limited currently, so we were thinking to stay at that size, but the 25 footer seems like a lot more space. I saw they had the 21 next to the 25 in the video. Do you think the cost difference between the 21 and 25 is a good value for the increase in room?
My issue with the 21 is that the standard 1.8 liter engines do not fit in the 21 ft. boat. That model uses a the TR1 3 cylinder engines. I'm sure they are fine but I like the inline 4 cylinder 1.8 liter. I would go for the 25ft.
@@CaptainLeonsBoatingandMore I really like the 1.8 liter engines in my 2017 212 Limited. I guess I did not realize the engine difference. I will have to dig into it a bit more.
I hear ya James, definitely learned some lessons in my final editing, didn't want it to get boring so sped it up in spots which caused too much movement. Thanks for watching!
What specifically don't you like Carlos? Deadrise, Gunwhale height, Rod holders, Live Well, Power, Speed, reliability of Yamaha Marine? What makes it a awful terrible horrific fishing boat? Curious of your opinion.
@@CaptainLeonsBoatingandMore Honestly there is no room to walk around too many seatings it is not a fishing boat it is a cruising boat also sandbar boat you can barely walk around the boat if you have two fish on at the same time you’re in trouble no offense to you your presentation was great it’s just not something that I would even consider…Thnk u
Carlos I agree 100%. Who wants jets in a fishing boat? What do the PWC average 150hrs and the motors are junk. He videos the most expensive boats in the class then showed what the bottom of the bucket is.
I wish I was able to join you guys! That Yamaha was amazing!
Now I want one. We’ll done Leon. Can’t wait for the season to open up.
Man I love this boat, great review Capt Leon thanks!
Again a great video Leon. Your budget comments are once again in line with what I can afford.
Thanks Joe, appreciate it. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Leon. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Rob.

I think the only negative from what I've seen is the radio so that's something I'll probably upgrade.
I hear ya, good point Black Birdie Golf. Thanks for watching!

Hey BaldDJ, not sure about the availability. There were no discounts at the show, just straight MSRP.

you are expecting too much from a 25 ft , sub 100k boat. if you want full walkaround,, get a freeman or invincible
