Thank you guys for the support!! By no means are these stellar passes, they are the most basic of starting points with many things to wrangle and get ahold of. The feeling of the truck was super sketchy and since I’ve had the truck realigned is a MAJOR improvement and it goes straighter. Yes there’s much to be dialed in with the suspension and we will be working on it soon. The power steering will also be something we will be tackling very soon as well! The truck went 12.3@106 with a bogging launch and no boost, hitting the rev limiter in 2 gears (no way to see rpm) and about 50% throttle. I’d say there more than some room for improvement. Most of you guys don’t know but I’ve set multiple manual records in C7, c7 z06 and ATSV and Ctsv. Just hang in there and once we get some bugs worked out things will come around.
Try not to take the comments personal, we want to see you do good, maybe you can pick up some good advice from some of us that have been there, maybe if you can tell us what you're plans are with the truck, what type of class do you plan on running..

Hey dude. So with these AWD s10s you wanna run on a smaller tire for starters. Some wheel spin will do you well when trying to align that thing out of the hole. Also ride that throttle out and point and shoot. Id play around launching on a wet patch and feel how how it wants you to throw it around.

Man it was always a dream of mine to go to this event, and my bachelor party crew made it happen! I rarely subscribe to any channel, but this is one that I had to. Y’all have proved so many things about yourselves. It was awesome seeing your truck in person and hearing it, I can’t wait to see this thing dialed in one day! It was great to see this car in person. The seat position is way more natural looking in person and the details of the engineering is impressive.
Seems like the truck has a ton of potential it’s just a matter of solidifying the geometries and ergos. The warm-ups are impressive, really winds out.
The fact that you enjoy Blue on Black must mean the rest of musical tastes are just as good. The blues never gets old.

You should defo ASAP check that steering column something looks lose as F***k....
You got to stop worrying about rpm and do everything by fill you do more damage missing gears than if it was overheating.put warning lights so if oil psi drops then u see it with out turning your head.You got to drive it like your mad at it .keep up the hard work and you will get smooth with the gear changes the more you stop worrying so much about rpm lord its awd u got to launch that thing hard .

Watch 1320 video on the truck. After they fix the shifter, went for a burnout in 4wd and the front pasenger axle shaft broke.

When you need both hands on the steering wheel just to keep the truck on the track gear shifts aren’t going to be perfect.......
Shawnsullivan7 Broke an axle shaft went todo an awe burnout and broke front driver axle. Look at 1320 video you can see it as after he fixed the shifter. The wheel jerks driver then straitened when the shaft broke.
Kept wanting to pull to the wall so he had to counter steer.
Broke enough axles in the 4x4 to know what was up.
This is an awesome build...i had always wondered about such a setup and it's cool actually see it.
Man gotta ditch that Watt's linkage in the back for ladder bars or a triangulated 4 link.

The Watt's linkage has been around a while and can work, but it's not easy to tune...i think early RX-7s had them as well as the Aussie Suoercars.
There's a reason it's not common, but neither is this build. I can understand going with something unexpected and hopefully he gets it dialed in.
A triangulated four link or ladders bars with a panhard bar would be an easy fix, but that's what everyone has...in this case unique counts for something.

Imagine a home brewed “suspension” that uses the diff cover as a stressed member is sketchy. Lol.
The diff cover is not a stressed member. There is a metal plate that goes between the diff cover and diff housing that takes the load
@@jeeper390 Which will open it like a coke when the structure it's bolted to gives. The frame is bowing under pressure already. Reminds me of twisting my 68 Chevelle doing a 8 grand peddle drop. She stayed twisted after some good traction. I sold it with a twisted frame.

It reminds me of when I raced RC cars and had the suspension set up all wrong.
Holy crap! I had the same exact thought! I ran a RC10LSS on carpet and paved ovals, back when that was the thing, in the early 90s. Once I got decent with the stock stuff, of course I had to go and buy all the latest whiz-bang suspension parts. After every dime of my Christmas and B day money was spent, the car (and I) sucked for damn near the entire next season. The learning process was actually kind of fun and at 13-14yrs old, the sense of accomplishment was massive. Whooda thunk back then, that some of that knowledge would carry over to the real thing.

They set it up for autocross and stuff other than drag racing. A slipper clutch would not be the way to go with a multi-use build. A good 2 step setup and boost by gear will make a huge difference.
@@jsheradin Understandable, but a clutch can be swapped out very quickly for different uses. When they're drag racing with this truck, slipper clutch is definitely the way to go.

Jeremy can drive. This is a new platform for them, virtually untested. Lets see your vehicle, that you converted to awd with a TT swap you built from nothing make it down a track flawlessly first few times. He will get it lined out.
Needs a new driver, a new vehicle and new mechanics that don't assembly garbage. This is just a clown and dog show.

well the last time he tried a pass his wheel fell off, so i can understand it. I was there that day and spoke to him and George. He wasn't feeling well so it wasn't his strongest pass, nor was it tuned for 50 degree weather. he still has a lot to work out before hes really comfortable. Give the man some time.

As much as that rearend twists, you need the 4 link. Swallow the pride and get one. And reinforce that spaghetti noodle frame.
Yep, Its needed a proper suspension setup. They also need to ditch that welded diff. Its gonna cause all sorts of weird handling issues when they decide to track that thing.
If they want a true "All Round" performance rig, they need at least a torsen rear diff

I think you need to look at the bushings in the front end. As its leaving the line you can see it toe in really because the wheel is pulling foreword.
